I’m updating my review. I had problems with my babylock machine and needed a screw. A simple screw. The owner was setting up for a convention and the ladies at the store told me they were t allowed access to parts. Mary yelled at me and told me this was a “Mom and Pop” store and that she was “sorry” they couldn’t provide the customer service of big box stores. I fell. Out. The entire reason i purchased there is because they are a small town locally owned store. They treated me so well with the brother and to be treated this way after dropping over $2500 is LUDICROUS. I was also promised a detailed class on my machine so i could learn all the wonderful things it does. That was in July. It’s now Jan. Still no class. They told me to take a basic serger class. Which made no sense bc i have been serving for ten years. But i did. At the class i was told instruction on my machine was not included.I am thoroughly disappointed in the management and the employee named Mary.**********This store is amazing. The owner is a lovely person, and is always on the ball to help customers! I have never felt more WELCOME and they do NOT use high pressure sales tactics like some OTHER sewing center in town.Even when all I could afford was my little Brother 1034d serger, this staff treated me like I had spent a million dollars.That attitude and their terrific customer service is the reason I went to their store to drop the big bucks on my new machine!I *highly* recommend this store.

I decided to buy local when it came time to purchase a new sewing machine. After emails back and forth, (Due to Covid) the purchase was made. I also wanted an extension table to go with the new machine. Was told it had to be ordered. I informed Shelly I would pay up front for it for easier transaction when it arrived.First, Shelly was not there when I purchased and picked up the machine on 8/13/2020. (Babylock JazzII) I was informed the extension table was on order. I was quoted A price for the machine and a price for the table. When I received my total, I asked if that included the table and the sales lady gave me a stumped look. She did not know.I have sent emails and tried to call because I have not heard anything on the extension table arriving. No response.So, when I reverse calculate my total, because an itemized receipt was not given, I was overcharged by $100 from the quote. Originally I thought that was because I paid for the extension table, but since I have not been notified it has arrived, I believe it was simply an overcharge.So much for buying local! Sorry, I will stick with the big box stores and online shopping!

I was In their store on a field trip yesterday and it was so much fun and they were so helpful. They have so many samples and are willing to share the information with you before you leave you feel like you have met some really nice new friends. They even went out of their way to make reservations for all of us at a nearby restaurant thanks again ladies for a fun fun experience

I have to admit, I dont personally do a ton of shopping, but I come with and for my mom quite frequently here.They have some of the most adorable fabric, and its all quilting grade. It tends to be a little pricier than other stores, but it is definitely worth it. I have gotten many a fabric here for quilts for my mom. Plus they have a lot of neat accessories that it is hard to get elsewhere. We have also bought a sewing machine here (two actually, and an embroidery machine).Shelly is probably one of the nicest, most knowledgeable store owners I have ever dealt with, but I really have no complaints about any of the staff. Everyone is lovely and helpful, especially because I know little to nothing about sewing and usually come here to buy gifts.

Drove for 45 minutes to visit store after verifying hours on website. We were greeted with a closed sign with no reason why. Notice about closure on web buried under class calendar. Call before you get in the car. Found another quilt shop and a woman there said that the same thing happened to her the day before.

I have been shopping for cotton fabric with exotic and fancy printings, had found two other stores that are good, but The SewNSew in Glendora is the best in southern California, because they have whatever you can imagine printed in cotton, they, all of them are just lovely helping customers, price is excellent. I sew my own shirts, and at this store I felt that I died and went to a fabric store in heaven. This is a must visit dont wait. From Beto

I did not feel welcome shopping for fabric and maybe some notions. I asked an employee for assistance with fabricd I needed. She brushed me off. She continued her conversation with another employee. Another customer came in looking at machines. They were all over her. I left with a very bad feeling about ever going again. I told some friends and found that I was not the only one with a bad experience. It was an hour drive that I will not waste again.

I absolutely adore this shop. The classes that are available are wonderful. I have taken several serger classes (the teacher is so patient) and also a beginning quilting class (Pat is so funny and very, very patient). Even though it is a drive for me, I will continue to participate in classes and make many, many purchases at the Sew N Sew. The quality of their fabrics and the assortment is wonderful. Shelly and Sheila and the rest of the girls are so helpful.

I love this quilt shop. Tons of fabric to choose from, lots of different styles, every color youll need, best prices compared to other similar stores and lots of sewing machines to drool over. There are a lot of fun crafty patterns available to inspire a person into making other things besides quilts. I alway find one or 2 quilt samples hanging in the store that I end up making myself.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever!Do not bring any of your machines into this shop for repair!When I dropped my machine off for repair I had asked to be called with an estimate before any work was done. Several weeks went by with no word from SewNSew. So I called back to check on my machine and no one could tell me anything regarding it! The person that does the repairs was not in and no one could say when he might be in. The owner of the store was also not in and since none of the sales people have any authority to help me get the most rudimentary questions answered, I leftmy number again. Still no one called me back. More weeks went by and I called again and received the same treatment, no one in a position of authority was there, no one could give me an estimate, no one could say if my machine was even at the store! This drama continued with more calls and more frustration until I went back, paid for a repair that I didnt authorize and picked up my machine. Please do not patronize a business that does not empower their employees to help their customers.

I found this store right after my family and i moved from north dakota to California and i wanted to see what it offered for sewing supplies. Was i surprised with the variety they had to offer!! They not only have a huge variety of beautiful fabrics from the best designers and its was all organized so it was super easy to find the fabric you need, but they also have a huge wall of sewing patterns and buttons and zippers and all kinds of different sewing utilities that you could possibly need to finish your projects. I just loved the variety of things they had for not only expert sewers but for anyone who wants to get into sewing. They have sewing machines and sergers for sale as well and when i was there i saw a lady showing somwone how to use the sewing machine which i thought was super sweet because we all may not have a sewing friend we can run questions by so they just offer help with everything. And on top of it all the staff ladies were very sweet and engaging with my questions i had and just made me feel right at home. Thank you so much for you help i will be back for more fabric and questions lol.
