These guys are always great, but this time they went well beyond. I made a last-minute appointment to have my oil changed because I was leaving on a road trip - I needed the car back by 1 o’clock. When they said they could do it, I also asked if they could swap my snow wheels/tires for my summer setup and they said that still wouldn’t be a problem. Two hours before they said it would be done, they called me to come and pick it up. My total bill including the wheel change was less than the oil change store down the street for just oil.Excellent service.

Ryan and his team are great. Ive lived in the twin cities for 10+ years and have long been searching for the honest mechanic, and so glad i was referred here a couple of years ago. The team is very up-front with the work they do, as well as their recommendations, pricing etc. Always complete their work on time, and have even stayed open late on a Friday on one occasion to accommodate my sometimes wonky schedule.

I had a pretty bad vibration (noticable at 55-65 mph) coming from below my van and I couldnt figure it out. So, I brought my van to the fantastic crew at Golden Valley Tire and Service. In 20-30 minutes they had the driveshaft pinned down as the problem. They ordered parts (whole drive shaft assembly) and within a couple days they had everything in from their supplier. I came in and they got everything put together in under an hour, and I even saved over a hundred dollars off the original quote!Overall an amazing experience with an extremely professional team. Great job, guys.

GV tire is locally owned and is a gem of Golden Valley. They are helpful and we’re able to do my strut and shock replacements in lightening speed. I was without my vehicle for less than 30 hours but they provided a loaner vehicle to use so I could my to keep my life moving. I was able to save by choosing local over the big dealer. I would highly recommend them for your future repairs. I will certainly be back for my next repair, just hopefully not too soon!

I got in my car one night and my battery was dead. So the next day I got roadside assistance and they got my car going. I called Golden Valley Tire to see if I could bring my car in for a new battery. I thought my battery was old but was pleased to find that I had bought it from them just less than 3 years ago . They service person checked the battery and told me it was borderline and that I could choose to keep it as it would still work or I could put a new battery in. I chose to get a new one so I wouldnt have to deal with the battery dying again perhaps when I was out of town or something. I was pleasantly surprised to be getting a hefty discount on the new battery because of the warranty on the old one. So I got a brand new battery for less than $100. It was going to be almost 200 with installation other wise. I give Golden Valley Tire a 10 for their honesty and service.

Visited GV Tire & Service to have a tire repaired after leaving work and found nail in my driver-side front tire. My first visit, and very impressed with the clean and MODERN waiting area with beverages (I didnt have any), and very professional and attentive crew.

These guys are amazing!!! My car (2014 nissan Sentra) had been making this loud humming sound for a while when I go over 40mph. So it started getting louder and the car would drift to the right so I said let me go and get it checked I put this off for wayyy too long. Plus it started making a clicking noise when I would make sharp turns. The weekend I went to get my oil changed by valvoline drive through service in golden valley I noticed this tire place across the way. They were closed already so I went Monday after work and Dave was so sweet to me. Explained the whole process about the inspection, what happens if they do find things wrong and what to expect. He allowed me to leave my car there that evening and called me the next morning (Tuesday) with a full diagnostic of what needed to be fixed. (Wheel bearing, strut and mount with wheel alignment). Before he even told me how much each would cost I asked him which is more pertinent to fix right now and he told me the wheel bearing. Thankfully that was the cheaper of the two lol. He had my car ready that Tuesday by 3:30pm. They work fast efficient and really really well. Nonetheless, he was very honest and fairly priced, and very kind and understanding. I will be returning to them soon to finish the other things that need to be fixed. I highly highly recommend them (golden valley HWY 55 location) THANKS GUYS!!!

They go the extra mile. Had a slow leaak on tire they fixed and said brakes need work but gave me time to think about it and come back another day to get that work done. Got a rough estimate of cost and how many miles to go before serious damage would be done. They are very to work with.

Headed to an appointment and stopped to get gas. With COVID and the super cold temps recently, havent been driving nearly as much as normal. Car wouldnt start after filling it up and a kind Samaritan helped me get it jumped, but now what? Thirty minutes from home, appointments in fifteen minutes and I cant turn off my car. Ryan took great care of my car.. we had my car at another local shop and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it and after a day at Golden Valley Tire Ryan was able to figure out what was going on and had it fixed in no time!

I had front tires replaced and an alignment done. Needed a new tie rod and other things. My only problem was clarity. A price quoted did NOT include the price of the tires, only the additional work to be done. I was mildly irked when the total was several hundred dollars more than what I thought had been quoted.That being said, the work the done was excellent, my car drives like new.

This is by far the best service center Ive ever been to for any vehicle Ive owned. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I like that they explain in detail the things that Im unsure about and that they tell me things that are in need of immediate repair and also tell me if there are some maintenance items that can wait till the next time Im in. I was told by my regular car dealer service garage that I needed new brake pads and rotors, but after Golden Valley Tire & Service inspected my car themselves, they saved me from spending close to $1,000 on an unnecessary replacement. Now I will be using them for all future services for my car.

Best automotive repair shop in the Twin Cities, period. Crystal clear communication of the issue diagnosed, the correct fix and an accurate estimate of the repair. They will point out other potential issues that they see but they are very keen to point out this can wait 3 months or you may want to address this sooner than later. They do a complete job and are in business to help keep your vehicle running great and not needlessly gouging you. Great customer service all day every day from Rob, Brandon, Joe and the guys in the back. Been a customer here since 1988 and they are First Class!
