This is the worst UPS store for customer service. There is an older gray haired woman in customer service that has been trained by the business owner to try to squeeze any Amazon prime customers for additional product sales. Not only that but they will nickel and dime you and try to put doubt in your mind to get more business and insurance for shipping costs. I understand that they are a small business and trying to do their best to stay profitable but I am absolutely turned off by the way that they run things. For 3 inches of packing tape they wanted to charge me a dollar. I hope they have better service with other clients. I will personally go elsewhere if at all possible.

I live close by so I have used this store many times over the years. They have what I need and their employees are always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for your needs.

What a great place ! I just had printing done and it was Jimmy John fracking fast !!! They even fixed my mistakes be for printing. The cost was better then other places I called. Best of all they helped me return packages that I been sitting on and needed help with. What a great little place.

I ship frequently and always use this location. The service is great and the team is always very polite and helpful.

I hadnt been here in over a year due to a bad experience. But, since I was going to be nearby and had an Amazon return, I thought I would give it another try...big mistake. The package was shipped to me via UPS and the box was damaged to the point where the merchandise inside was broken. When I arrived and put it on the counter, the UPS employee told me that I would have to re-box it, or she could sell me a roll of tape to close it up. I told her that it was damaged by UPS, was an Amazon return and that the UPS store that I normally go to doesnt require that of their customers. She remained adamant as if it was my fault that the box was i damaged. NEVER AGAIN will I due business with the Golden Valley location and I will spread the word to my friends and family to not waste their time going there. Worst customer service that I have experienced in a long time.

The customer service is absolutely disgusting, they charge you for 1inch tape and time to use their computer to print.(printing is another tag plus that, but price for time can go up to 5 bucks) If your looking for information do not come here your alone here, feels like a money grab. I was on the phone with a worker, I was asking questions about an item that has to be shipped back to the seller within 3 days for me to get a full refund. Monday made it the 3rd day, he didnt know that but if he did its not like hed care anyway. Was on the phone for bout a min and was about to say ok thank you good bye when he told me he had other customers waiting in line and hung up on me. But Im a customer too tho, yet I was still treated like I was wasting their time. I hope this spot close down thats how bad the service is.

My team was having an IT Open House with the theme Springtime in Paris. We had a small Eiffel Tower, we had berets, but at the last minute we decided we need to get a poster-sized Mona Lisa. Randy at the Golden Valley UPS Store hooked us up! He was able to turn my high-res .jpg into a beautiful over-sized poster that received tons of admiration the next day at the open house. Moving forward, I will use this store for all my printing needs. Five stars every time!

I had a print job and needed the print to be larger and clearer. I worked with Liam and he did an awesome job, he made great suggestions and was very helpful.

Everything always comes out well printed here and it isnt expensive. They are fast with their service when it comes to printing. A few times when I have walked in the door, I havent been greeted or I dont know where to go and its sort of been awkward or something? Printing is in the back, mailing is on the right side of the store. Copiers ( not sure with covid?) are also available.

We quite often have printing and mailing projects that need to be completed and have shopped around to find the place with friendly help, knowledgeable employees, and quick turn-around time. We have found that store and have been using this shop for several years now to meet all our printing, binding, mailing, etc. needs.The UPS Store in the Golden Valley Shopping Center earns all five stars for its outstanding customer service and quality work. The staff are typically busy when we come into the store (which, in my opinion, is a sign of a good business) but someone will immediately offer to help us.This is a store that has employees that are cheerful, really know their trade, and always put customer service first! We have never had an unpleasant experience and trust all our printing and mailing need to this UPS Store.

Store owner worked with private shipper including helping with payment to get an item shipped to me! This is also the the same store that searched for 4 years to get a package to a deceased military veteran’s family. This store owner’s actions to serve his community and military veterans reflected very well on UPS. As a veteran I am proud and homered to give this store a 5 star review.

In the middle of all this covid19 mess, I needed to send a large, heavy box of files across the country to family. The staff here is just the best. Helpful, courteous, and funny. I have always had great experiences at this UPS location. Just the best customer service!!

Generally very happy with this store and the staff. I was surprised when they charged me for notarization. $5 per paper. They need to say that upfront, since most other places offer it for free.Edit after response:Thanks for the quick reply. If Id known, I would have made an extra trip to the bank to get it done. Ive never been charged before in other states or at banks. Good to know MN is different.

After trying 3 other poster printers, Ty Krause, the Print Manager here, spent about a half hour getting my home made poster just right. Then he gave me the final poster in a pdf file and printed 5 posters, all for only $25. I told him that wasnt enough for the work he put in to it. He said he knew Id be back. And he is right! The people here are always helpful, friendly and efficient. A great place for all your printing needs.

I love how they decorated outside with flowers for fall. Its charming. Also the staff are awesome! Love this location.

That dog is so adorable, I love that theyre open to that at this UPS store!Also, the customer service is incredible. My wife and I left our passports there making a scan, we were freaking out and after getting the managers phone number from a neighboring store - we got hold of his cell and he assured us that they were safe and even offered to come unlock the store after hours. We ended up just getting it the next day, but the guy was incredibly cool about it and very helpful.I worked at a UPS store in Ohio several years ago, and the difference between our store and this store was tremendous with this one being far superior. I have been using the shipping and printing services at this location for over 12+ years. I have found the staff to be friendly, professional and courteous. Whether it is for personal or business, the level of customer service is always outstanding. I also feel the rates are very reasonable. I will go out of my way to use this location driving, driving last at least a dozen competitors.

I had home computer problems so I took the project to the UPS store and they created a beautiful, full-color promotion piece with photos, copy, everything needed - and did it almost overnight! I had a mailbox here because I didnt want packages delivered to my apartment in case they got stolen. The staff was always friendly and the prices reasonable. Ive never had to wait long before someone was available to help.

An amazing place to get prints done! We needed over 800 prints done same day, and they were exceptional. Randy cares deeply about the local community and is a great person. Dont hesitate working with this branch of the UPS Store.

I used this UPS store several years ago to pack up some valuable art for transportation out if the country. They were amazing. Recently I used them to shred records and again they were very helpful. I highly recommend them!

I went in to ship something expensive. The gentleman who helped me was polite, and quick. I paid to have the item packed and shipped. Total time in store, less than 5 minutes. Great service, and with a friendly attitude, and it doesnt seem forced.

After Ive finished my work, I need to make sure that my pieces are handled with extreme care- and thats where Randy and his staff at Golden Valley UPS come in. Ive shipped many tables across the country with them, and I know they care as much about the product as I do. Went to pick up 2 packages with 2 separate tracking number, received the first and asked about the second. Was told by the employee it wasnt there, though my tracking email said otherwise.. Got home and called customer service, they assured me it was delivered/signed for at the store and to return the following business day.Whether poorly train or incompetent the employee just brushed me off like I didnt know what I was talking about, didnt even ask for the other tracking number. No effort given whatsoever, was just told thats it.As a customer I feel like I shouldnt have to challenge an employee in the service industry. They should be dedicated to providing the best service possible, skills that can be developed and applied to every career or personal interaction down the road of life. Hopefully hes there next time Im picking something up so we can have a nice polite conversation, either with him or the manager.Im not mad, just disappointed in the poor service this time.

This location will always be my go to. I have had rocky customer service experiences here in the past (with old management), but Today Travis was EXCEPTIONAL with his customer service, helped me edit two last minute designs along with my technical un-savvyness he helped fix my errors even staying well past closing time to make sure it was alright. I will be back again just because of him.

I was in the store right before closing and everyone was in a big hurry -- me, the employees, another customer. But, I received great service and lots of help. I was only making copies and sending a package (free shipping), so I spent very little. It didnt matter, the employee was helpful and efficient.

Randy and his team do a great job. Ive used their screen printing service for several years now for my volleyball team t-shirts. My team has been very pleased with the quality of the shirts as well as the correct spelling of their names. :)

Edit: Package was delayed but Randy is doing what he can to rectify the situation. I understand that some things are out of his control and appreciate the effort he has made to help me out.

I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Over charged me, then refunded, then changed tracking number THEN when I called in to try to figure out what happened THEY WERE RUDE and they lied and pretended not to remember the mess up even though I heard them in the background discussing it. RUDE and unhelpful. Everyone makes mistakes but to be rude for the confusion and mistakes is NOT HELPFUL. UGH

Profiled and interrogated over a toy civil war musket with a orange tip. Might just be the incredibly rude (and aggressive) managers fault and not that of UPS. Guy at the counter had no problem, manager was claiming my brand new, unmarked, bare, square cardboard box looked like it had a gun in it. What a joke. Ive been shipping replicas for years and this is the third time the Golden Valley UPS store gave me a hard time and held me up, despite going out of my way to explain there were no Co2, lipo batteries, ect.. Kept my cool and eventually someone with common sense stepped and pushed it through but Im never going to UPS again. USPS is right down the corner and they dont make you declare what you have in your box, they dont make accusations when DO declare what you have, and they sure dont treat you the way I was treated.

Best UPS store around, and Ive been to all of them. Friendly and knowledgeable staff makes all the difference

They charged me $0.50 for a piece of tape in order to ship my package. It felt more like they were taking adavantage of me than providing customer service. Being cheap is not always the best business model when the post office is across the street.
