There was absolutely no one to help you with anything and only one register open for check out. My mother hasnt been to this store in a long time and didnt know how much it has changed but she was able to pick out a few items she liked and then we were held waiting in line to pay. I will be surprised if they are in business much longer!

First time shopping since the Pandemic in over 8 months. Find some items i was looking for and some good deals. I dont particularity dont like the buy one and get one free. Store was very clean and protocol was in place. The dressing room floor was a little slippery for some reason. Sales associates were very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a very good shopping experience.

Staff are nice but they kind of lollygag. theres nothing really worth going in JCP for tbh unless you have a job interview or a funeral to attend and you need a quick outfit that you will probably just give away.

Worst online shopping experience. Poor customer service assistance on the phone. Do not purchase large items for home delivery they sub it out to careless delivery drivers. In store hard to find anyone at a register for purchases.

Loved Maya!! Selection is good. Loved Loved Loved it when Maya encouraged another employee to help a senior citizen take her comforter to her vehicle. Prices are always better in between seasons so it was a good visit!!

Great selection of dresses today. Found 5 I liked for myself. Had to narrow it down to 2. And then 1 for my daughter. Many of the fitting rooms were closed today but I did finally find one open.

Experience was great. My you one is graduating from 8th grade and needed a jacket to cover the dress up because it is sleeveless. She found another dress and jacket that she liked too

This is the most popular store in town for the young. This makeup place has offered an added touch for JCPENNY. Young ladies love coming to shop and get tips for their makeup.

Tanashia was superb at helping us. She got the rebate forms for us, searched an item online and at the warehouse and got a Black Friday item that we thought was sold out. Bravo!

I got a ring sized that was bought online for me on Valentines day. We waited 45 minutes because a newer associate wasnt sure how to put in a size change. Two other associates came over, one was a manager, to help him. He told me a price of $45 to have it sized and I said size it. The receipt he gave me stated $45 and he said yes it was $45. However, I got a call today that my ring was in but it was $70. I said no way it was $45. We went back and forth and she said it was $45 per size and I went up two and she was giving me a discount. I told her that was news to me and if I had known I would have sized it at the store next door as they charge $50. She had a manager call me back and she told me it would just be $45. I told her Id be there at 4. I had to wait for her to get out a meeting and then she informed the sales clerk to over ride it. Sales clerk was semi rude and said for future reference its blah blah blah. I said thats fine. I wanted to check out the ring before I paid and when I looked at it, she said can I have the money now? It was just very rude. Didnt even look at it for 5 seconds. They need to state it more clearly that its $45 per size as well as have it noted better on the receipt- all it says is $45. Furthermore, out of 2 associates and 1 manager, none of them told me anything other than it would cost $45 total. Unorganized and ill informed staff.

I found my wedding dress and it was gorgeous.

Do not get me wrong I love JC Penny. But, I think, they think we stupid. It works my nerves when they jack the prices up and have the buy one and get one for a penny sale. We know one items is not 80 bucks we know well I know you jacked the price up and I am still paying for both items. And I just came across a sale buy 2 pair of ladies boots and get one free. The boots are like 70 bucks and up. I see you JC Penny and it really bothers me how you are trying to get over on your customers

As far as selection, Goldsboro has a better selection of styles than Raleighs stores. But my last visit to Goldsboro, they were packed with clearance items. I felt like I was in a bargain outlet. Spacing was crazy. With Sephora added to JCPENNEYS the setup for spacing is crazy to me. I think its time for all of them to remodel.

I came here and looked at a few washer and dryer sets. The staff that assisted me was very friendly and was not pushy. The clothes section was pretty organized compared to most JCPennys I go to. I wouldnt go out my way to go here but it wasnt bad.

LONG lines at registers! Nobody at the main register by the front doors. Cant check out at jewelry even though there are 3 employees behind that counter!! No wonder theyre going out of business!!! This is your typical JCpenny store. They carry the same things that other Pennys stores carry. Today they had trouble getting my coupon to work and they have lots of restrictions on what you can use rewards coupons on.

Felt like we were being watched the whole time my husband was trying to find a dress shirt and a tie. Maybe they need to redo the area with the fitting room and have an attendant that gives you a little tag with the number of clothes youre trying on. I probably will not return.
