Went here with a friend to ho her pick out light fixtures for her kitchen that is being remodeled. They have all kinds of light fixtures for various rooms inside your house as well as outside of your house too. They have them actually hanging in the store so you can see them ro know the size, finish, etc. They can also order them if they do not have them in stock. The employee we worked with was nice and helpful.

They have most any lighting items in stock. I needed a particular kind of fan, although not just a light they had it ordered and ready for pickup two days later. Very customer oriented.

University Lights is small but they have beautiful chandeliers, ceiling fans, light fixtures, LED bulbs for just about every light there is + a several year warranty. If a bulb blows, no need to buy another just bring the bulb in the guy will give you a new one. Their doorbells are pretty cool looking and unique also. University Lights is definely a place you would want to check out.

Very helpful and nice people

This is a small privately owned business that carries better quality lighting fixtures for the home. They are popular with building contractors but sell retail as well. Theres a large selection in store, but they can special order most anything you need. Staff are knowledgeable of the various types of lightning for different areas of home and work space. Youll get much better service here than at large megastores like Lowes or Sears, at about the same price.

We were sent here to pick out lighting for our home, and we worked with Allen. He was so patient and very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. He spent the time to help us pick out the lighting for our home. I recommend working with this company. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. You get alot more than if you go to lowes! We couldnt be happier. Thank you Allen for everything!

If you are going to do business with these people, make sure you avoid the Goldsboro store. Very rude service, raised his voice to one customer and even went as far as to point his finger in her face. Definitely not a good representation of their company.
