Getting sick and tired of paying $27 for shipping, and waiting 5-6 days for parts when there’s a store 4 mins away from my house!! Please re open your doors, or install some form of will call option. You must be one of the only stores on the high street still “closed” for covid, reducing overhead & increasing profit with disregard for your local clients. Also customer service was unbelievably short and rude.

I worked at Moss Motors for 13.5 years. It was awesome at first till about a few years ago. They have new management that has no knowledge or want to learn the staffs duties or try to understand. And if you start to speak up, they let you go regardless of how long youve been there. It was a great place till they started to treat their employees badly. I was sad because I did the most I could and loved my job. But not being heard of my concerns and they just fired me. 😒. If thats how they treat employees, you can tell how they treat customers.

The absolute worst customer service ever. Bought a $600.00 part that was damaged during shipping... contacted customer service to work the return of the part, was passed off to the Parts Department, who said to send pictures. Followed instructions sent pictures (via email) waited 3 days, still not sure of the status or if the pictures even got there sent a 2nd email, 4 days later received an email say the Tech Department would contact me soon. Waited another 2 weeks (3 weeks in total) still nothing, no phone call, email, carrier pigeon or smoke signal. Send a 3rd email requesting an update and still 4 weeks later nothing. Not even a peep.Buyer beware, once they have your money youll never hear from them again.

These folks are hit or miss depending on what you need or buy. I’ve always had good experiences but my Miata club hasn’t always had that same sentiment.Bought a Gas Cap, fuel filter, lower radiator bracket and a few other impossible to source OEM parts for my 99 Miata. Shipped on time, the website is up to date, and they are professional about their work.

There was a time Moss Motors was a great vendor in the past. It has changed and gone bad to do any business with. I have been a customer for years and was able to get parts for my MG MGB British roadster. Recently 2018, their customer service and ordering of parts has become a real hassle. Common parts on sale are out of stock - back ordered with no idea when they will be available (couple of weeks}. They now have a parts catalogue of cheaply made parts and a lot of back order- out of stock. The shipping cost are very expensive too and slow to deliver. Most of the Moss phone customer service people are now uninformed and very very rude. I would not recommend anyone to do business with Moss Motors.

Weve been waiting a month for tech service to return are call back about installing a boot on our mgb. Nothing matches up. We were last told to be patient. Well weve waited long enough very disappointed.

Just canceled an order which I paid for 2 day shipping on. Problem had occurred with my card (most likely entered the number wrong). Updated my payment status and got an email 3 days ago that all is good and the order was processing. 3 days later and item still hasnt shipped. Canceled order 5 minutes ago. Since it hasnt shipped this shouldnt be a problem. Just ordered the same part from Victoria British and the order is scheduled to ship tomorrow. Stay away until they figure it out in California. Terrible.

This policy affords no consumer protection to the customer, which they would otherwise be afforded under the facilities offered by payment schemes such as Visa, Mastercard or Paypal. This protection can (but not always) extend to the merchantable quality of the goods purchased and damaged goods. Consumer discretion is advised.

Ive ordered a few parts here and there as Im restoring my tr6 but the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Everything I have ordered has been delivered on time if not early, so far I have nothing but great things to say. Ill be a repeat customer for a long time to come. Keep it up guys

Bought from this website because it had free shipping. 2 days after I made the purchase, they shipped my items and charged me an extra $177 for shipping because there was a mistake on their website checkout page. They never gave me the opportunity to review the new price, just shipped it and billed me extra. Terrible ethics and I will never buy from this site again. I advise you look elsewhere if possible.

Moss advertises, and I bought from them a carburetor kit for my 67 Austin-Healey that contained the wrong size air horns. Because they source and drop ship the carb kit from a third party, I had to obtain the name of the manufacturer from Moss and then deal directly with that third party to swap out and get the correct parts. I asked Moss to assist with the fix, but their service rep told me that there was nothing they could or would do to fix the faulty kit that I bought directly through them.

Their website didnt mention the item being out of stock when I ordered it. I tried being patient and waiting for the backorder for over a month. The first time I called they told me my shifter rebuild kit just needed one bushing to complete, and ship. The next time I called they had no information. Each time I called they told me they would be happy to cancel the order though, or pay $50 more for their other kit in stock. I ordered the kit from another website for $5 more and its already shipped. I wont be typing moss miata in my browser again.

I placed an ordered for a set of pushrods for my 1974 MGB on Friday 26July2019 at approximately 9:50 AM PDT on Moss Motors website while speaking with a customer representative on the phone after verifying if I selected Next Day Air from the shipping options drop down, that I would receive my pushrods the next day on Saturday to my house near Seattle. I was assured that my parts would be delivered the next day.My parts were not delivered Saturday or Sunday. I received a shipping confirmation email from Moss late Sunday evening with a UPS tracking number indicating my parts would be arriving Monday the 29th at approximately 10:30 am.UPS delivers on Saturdays. So why were my parts delayed again? This is the third time in three years where I have paid for next day air shipping and have received parts 2 to 4 days late from CA instead of the expedited shipping I paid for.And according to a few British car Facebook groups and on-line forums. People paying for expedited shipping and getting their parts later than the service they paid for is frequent than you think.They are going to be receiving a phone call from me as soon as they open this morning.

Never do business with this company. I placed an order 12/18/18, which showed the item was in stock. Received an email from Kelly on 12/20 that the item was out of stock, but would be in soon. I have since left 3 voice mails and sent 3 emails directly to Kelly. I have called the company and spoke with DJ & Doug and have yet to find out any updated status on my order.

During my 16 months of interacting with Moss Motors, I encountered several attempts at manipulation, harrassment, and bullying by HR Director Rebecca, and false statements along with several accusations of impropriety said to me from supervisor Alex, as well as no response to many of my emails and phone calls.What could be the reason for the high turn over in personnell? Someone needs to take a good hard look at management.

I was ordering parts for my Jensen built Volvo P1800, and although they are not this marques specialty, lots of their stuff (hella H4s in this case) is interchangeable. With that said, they were very rude over the phone, and did their best to tell me I have no business ordering parts for a vowl- vvo from them. Rude, snobby, and elitist is how I describe Moss motors, and I gladly took my Volvo business elsewhere, and I recommend you do the same.

I called and left a message, no return call, so I emailed them, no response, The MGA side curtains do not fit the factory mounts, I have bought parts from them over 30 years, they should not treat any customers this way.
