The best bookstore along the Lakeshore. This is the only place I buy my books. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They carry hardcover best sellers. There is an excellent selection of fiction & nonfiction. One favorite section is the staff review usually soft cover books always a good choice. You can find magazines too. They carry a unique selection of cards for a special gift.

Loved the store on our visit and really enjoyed the new kids section/play area. My daughter was in heaven when she saw it. Great selection!

They have a great selection of used and new books! They also have a section dedicated to Michigan authors, which is a great way to discover local creatives. Their childrens section has a great selection for all ages and has cute decor. I really love the local book store feel. They also have a small stage which is probably used for open mics.

The Bookman is a great local business. Friendly service and my 8,5 and 3 year old truly enjoy going and picking out a book each and head to the beach to read them.

Fantastic staff, quite respectable selection (especially for the small size) and they can order what you want if they dont haveit. When their usual sources didnt have the obscure book i wanted they ordered from another local store in the state.

Nice little small town book nook. My wife needed a best seller for her book club and they had it in stock. We paid full list price of course but were happy to support a local business.

A hidden gem. If you love books you should check out this cozy little bookstore. Im glad I did, even if they dont have what you are looking for the staff is very kind and always willing to help such as placing orders. The free chocolate chip cookies and tea/coffee is a nice touch as well.

Nice, local, independent bookstore. Good focus on local information and authors. Very tied to their home community. In addition to new, an unusually good used book selection. Great place to browse while waiting for your table at Morningstar, the restaurant next door.

Great book store, plus papers and magazines. Also kids books and now kids toys. Plus, they are extremely helpful.
