Youre in the thick of a creative mind and a shop so detailed and intimate that you cant help but be swept up in the owners vision. From the denim itself to the retro camping necessities and rustic handmade goods, youll discover treasures artfully tucked away in every corner. TENDEN and its offerings are established in time-honored and close-to-heart excellence, unlike anything Ive seen in my global travels. I was in awe of the quality and clear care and energy put into every item Todd has crafted. We cannot wait for the next excuse to walk through this shop and it is a must-see in Grand Haven...or indeed, the U.S.

Tenden was an amazing shop and the only regret was not getting to meet Todd, the shop owner and the man behind the machines. Todd uses these vintage sewing machines to make great quality clothing and accessories with an industrial feel to them. A true artist with a love for his work. After his assistant showed me her bag and a shop owner next door, I decided to go back and get a bag for myself and I cant wait to start using it. My kids and I all bought merch in his shop.

Truly a must see operation going down here! Buy things directly from the local designer next to the machines from the 1960s that he made them on and one guy runs the whole place! Such a unique shop. You haven’t really seen Grand Haven unless you’ve seen Todd’s shop!

I have been a tenden customer for years, and his products are very well made and thoughtfully designed. I especially like his bags and one of a kind pieces for myself, and I’ve bought lots of gifts for friends and family from him as well. This place is top notch.

I stumbled upon TENDEN this afternoon while I was Grand Haven earlier today. Being someone who wears small run selvedge denim, it was incredible to walk in and see Todd sewing up a pair right in the shop. I spent probably 30mins in the shop chatting with Todd. He has some incredible fabrics on hand, and the quality of the goods he had on the shelves is amazing. I didn’t buy anything today, but I will know this shop will be my new go-to.
