Parts Chris was very helpful and even print out diagram of door bushings and handles
Im sorry to see that some people have had issues with their vehicles and repairs but I can say that my experience has been very positive. I hope the company owners realize what a great asset Tara is in the service department. Her knowledge is amazing and at my last appointment she let me know what I can expect in the future as the miles are adding up on my CRV. Her forewarning gives me time to decide if I want to trade up or be prepared when repairs are needed. I really appreciate the heads-up.
Fantastic service!!! We were driving from Chicago to the Rockies and realized the AC was out! I sent a request for service on Sunday evening and Tara got back to me right away! They were able to squeeze us in first thing Monday morning and had it fixed and were on our way by 1:30! Thank you so much Cornhusker Honda!!!!
Was traveling on the interstate and had a transmission light issue. Drove in to ask for help and they got to me right away. Diagnosed the problem and did not even charge me. These guys are awesome
I’ve had a key on back order of over a month and a half. Haven’t been able to use my car, and all they could say is “I’m sorry to hear that, but I can’t help”! I understand it’s not your fault keys aren’t being made, but offer a loner car till you guys can figure it out! We buy our cars from you, spend thousands of dollars and you all can’t help!!! Poor service. And poor attitudes
Staff has always been polite and professional when I have talked with them. If they do not have the vehicle you are looking for on the lot, they will bend over backwards to find it.
What a joke! I’ve never written a review but after having my van damaged by the service manager while he was pulling my van into the service garage I feel I needed to. That is unacceptable and needs to be noted for other customers to discern whether or not they should trust this dealership with their vehicle. I appreciate his honesty in showing and telling me about the damage but the follow up has been less than professional. He told me “he’s got a guy that will fix it,” but still hasn’t followed up personally. After calling myself to speak with him I was able to convey that I wanted my van fixed by a trusted local body & paint shop and not by “his guy.” He said, “he’d take a look at it”...(3 days later, no reply). I’ve emailed estimates and confirmation emails and they still haven’t gotten back to me. Honda should be ashamed to let these guys use their brand. This isn’t Honda. This is embarrassing.
This was my first time buying in Grand Island. I was greeted by Nate. He introduced himself and walked us through the entire car buying experience. My wife and I were amazed at the customer service. It was a nice touch when Nate introduced us to all of the service staff! We will definitely be asking for Nate when we come in.
Dan worked with us in the sales department. Professional and very flexible in helping us find a vehicle. Highly recommend!
Window shopper
Have been taking my Honda there for the past two years for service when needed and have always been happy with my experience there. Friendly employees!
I have owned multiple Honda’s, and am a customer that supports Honda 150% but I felt offended, when I went here the other day to get parking corner light sockets for my 1993 Honda Civic and had a salesman not only look at my car in disgust, but to laugh immediately and very publicly at my car (not sure who it was, tall guy parted hair). He even said hi to me friendly before realizing I wasn’t buying a car at that moment. Than that’s when he mocked my car, nodded his head no 4 times than walked off. I guess you need a 2017+ Just not to be judged at cornhusker Honda. My rant is over.
I recently bought a 2017 Honda Ridgeline at Cornhusker Honda. It was a great experience all around. To confirm I was making the right decision, they let me take their demo Ridgeline home for the night (I live in Kearney) and that clinched the decision for us. They also obtained an excellent loan rate for us. Once our specified truck was delivered to the dealership they were ready for us and the closing was efficiently handled. We received thorough instruction on the truck and its technology prior to final possession. They also followed up with a call to make sure we didnt have any questions. We love our new truck and are very pleased with our decision to purchase it through Cornhusker Honda.
Had oil changed. Fast friendly service. Also was looking at a new Honda. Greg was very nice and helpful. Thanks
Ive gone here only because its the only Honda place close. Luckily ive moved and will receive better service. Ive gone in 3 times with my engine light on and my 1 request, fix the light, figure out what it is, and make it go away, they failed everytime. My engine light has been on since January 2016 to tell you anything about them. I went in January of this year, i told them im going to be drivimg 1,600 miles, and i need you to check, and ensure that my car is ready for that. We broke down in Wheatland Wyoming. 6 hours, and only 400 miles in, had to get towed to the nearest mechanic and stranded at a motel 6 for 4 days while they fixed my car. I responded to their follow up review on their service and my experience email but i never heard anything back so Im guessing they just ask to look good, but dont really care. The service here jas completely destroyed my faith and trust in mechanics, and especially honda dealerships. My family has always found Honda a reliable and trustworthy brand, but im not sure id ever consider another honda simply for the fact that they can not provide quality maintenance and upkeep of said vehicle.
Poor communication.Performed work on my vehicle without my authorization.Never again, theyve lost a potential long term customer.
I have had trouble making the 2 and half hour drive to make appointments. Ive called each time I couldnt. Is the service manager suppose to be smart aleck about ordering of parts? I am trying to be a customer. I need some kind of understanding with the miles I drive. maybe they dont want any business in the shop? Thats crazy to me!
Great service for my 1988 Honda accord coupe.
Always great service buying or service!
I have had problems with my car’s alignment since I bought it, resulting in the need to replace my new tires shortly after purchase. I was initially told I caused this by hitting something significant. I didn’t hit anything and since then they’ve changed their story, telling me I could have hit a pothole. Most recently I was told it’s just normal wear and tear that caused the need for realignment every 30-45 days. The manager and service manager were very condescending and I ended up having to take my car elsewhere to get answers on what was causing the problem.
Cornhusker is a Great place to buy new Honda come see me for a great sales experience.

Brought my CR-V here because the air conditioning went out. New to town, so I assumed a dealership would be the best place to take it for service. Wrong. After the initial trip, had to return twice more because the a/c kept going out a week after the repair. Each time they explained that another part mysterious stopped working (including parts that were removed, inspected, and cleaned from the previous trip, their words on our receipt). Spent over $1200 on the first two trips, and they wanted us to pay another $400 on the third trip for another part that stopped working. Ended up taking the CR-V to a second repair shop to have someone tell us that the problem was completely unrelated to the parts Cornhusker Honda replaced. Will never bring a car back to Cornhusker.Update: after publishing my initial review in 2016, many 5 star reviews popped up- conveniently all from Cornhusker Honda employees. Don’t let the fake reviews fool you!
Great place, great people.
Wonderful service
