I called in regards to getting some meat for beef jerky. I thought this was a butcher, but was told with an attitude they do not do this. Recommend going somewhere with a little less attitude and more customer oriented.
We had beef and pork processed here. The beef steaks were not cut property. We cooked them rare and could barely cut them with a knife. The bones in the steak did not look right and the grain of the steak was odd..... the meat tasted awesome but we could not chew it. Pork chops were the same..... maybe they need new help?!!
Bought fresh kabasa cooked it and was full of fat. No flavor at all never again.
Not impressed with this meat market .prices seam high.
Came here to get Jerkey on a road trip when passing through the area. Got a few teriyaki beef sticks. Good flavor! Traditional beef jerkey they sold was quite hard. Hoped for some tender options but didnt seem like they made that type. Wish they had a some drink options, but this place is all about the MEAT! Come here before cooking a BBQ and you wont be let down!

What an Amazing company. We went in to buy jerky and teriyaki sticks for our son overseas (He Really misses them). She asked if he was military, then went over and grabbed another jerky so he could share. I was in tears. Thank you Old World Meats! You’re the Best!!
They have amazing bacon and roasts. Both pork and beef roasts. We will always favor Old World over others in town.
Use caution if ordering sausage if you prefer yours natural. Old Worlds breakfast sausage contains propyl gallate (benzoic acid) and B.H.T. Their Italian sausage contains soy bean oil. Sausage ingredients are not disclosed to customers prior to ordering unless the customer inquires directly.
My family has been purchasing from this company for years. We have always enjoyed their product and I have personally experienced exemplary customer service from them in the past. Today was not the case. I recently received two packages of Beef Jerky from them, one package of peppered jerky and the other of natural jerky. The natural jerky was nothing but a solid mass of mold.When I called in I spoke with Matt (I believe that was his name, he never gave it to me and when I called back to find out Sue would not provide it either.). Matt immediately took the defensive and started asking how the meat had been stored, and essentially passed any and all blame onto my father. As I was trying to explain that it was the “natural” jerky was the one that had molded out Matt insisted that the peppered jerky would mold faster. It was not the pepper jerky, I repeatedly tried to explain and he finally stopped interrupting long enough to listen. Even then there was no apology or sense of actual customer service. This is unacceptable. The peppered package is perfectly fine as far as I know; we have yet to open it. Rather than apologize for the issue and trying to help I was subjected to a series of questions given in the rudest manner I have had the pleasure of experiencing from a Customer Service Representative and Ive dealt with Direct TV customer service reps on numerous occasions. He argued he passed blame; he gave no indication of wanting to make the problem right. He didnt ask any questions and interrupted me repeatedly. It was up to me to offer to send in pictures of the product in question along with a picture of the other package without the mold. When he finally agreed to this it was in a tone that suggested that he doubted any assistance would be offered and that if it was it would be done so under duress.When I called back I spoke with Sue. Sue was only marginally more helpful. While she did admit that this wasnt alright (the mold issue, not the way her co-worker dealt with the issue previously). I will be sending in the pictures but I am NOT happy at all with the attitude toward my problem. I called in expecting to be heard and cared for; I did not expect to be treated like I (or my father) had done something wrong. I did not receive an apology only accusations regarding improper storage. At this point I dont see how Improper Storage could be a viable factor since the other package of jerky is perfectly fine while the other looks like some sort of micro-biology science experiment gone wrong.I will be emailing the company tonight. I only have one picture of the moldy jerky available at this time but will be sending photos of both packages along with a request to be contacted about the service I have received. I have found that apparently the President of Old World Meats is Suzanne M. Anderegg. I am wondering if this is the same person as “Sue” and if so I am shocked but will wait for a reply. I am not a person who writes negative reviews like this, especially regarding a local company. I want my local businesses to thrive.My father is upset about the product he gave me. He is embarrassed and I am saddened by the treatment I have received. Again, the jerky is delicious but how you, as a company, can turn around and treat someone the way I have been treated today is reprehensible. I was calm. I was polite. I tried to not argue but when treated like this I will defend myself. I have worked in customer service most of my life and I know that if I treated a customer the way Matt treated me Id be written up at least and very possibly fired. I will be telling my family about this and all of my friends. This is unacceptable. Im not asking for a lifetime supply of jerky, just a replacement bag so that my family can continue to enjoy a fabulous product.
Never again, quality meat market henceforth.

Great shop. Good quality and great selection. A large variety of jerky and pepperoni sticks! I have had all the jerky in town and I can tell you this is the best. It’s also the best value.
Old World processed my mule deer last Fall and we have enjoyed the bounty for the last year. They are fast, courteous and get the job done professionally. I highly recommend !!!
Came from Michigan, shot a elk wanted it done within three days to go back, had a family emergency back home needed it done in 2 charged 100 dollars in rush fees. Be aware out of staters!! They may rip you off

Im ashamed for not using this processor in the past due to stupid rumors. Ive used them now for a year and have never seen a better meat processor and the customer service second to none. Best meats my family has enjoyed in years.
Best bacon in town! They have great thick-cut pork chops and pretty good steaks, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful.
