Great service, the owner really knows his products, and is very willing to show a variety of shoes to make sure you get exactly what you need and want. I will definitely be back for shoes in the future, and I tell everyone who compliments me on my shoes to visit his shop!

I find that the shoes are of poor quality. My first pair had holes in less than 5 weeks. Second pair, this is the replacement pair, at 8wks have started holes. At $250 a pair, I find this unacceptable.Buyer beware.

Im going to shoe design for close to 10 years I think. Mario always makes sure my shoes are adjusted to my needs. I take them back to be tweaked as needed.

Mario is AMAZING! As a plus sized runner I have been struggling with heel and ankle pain for months. I went in explained to him my foot pain and issues and my shoe needs and he had me all fixed up in no time. I seriously walked out feeling like a new woman! My poor foot doesnt even hurt!! Very sad to say Mario over charges for his shoes by hundreds of dollars we found the same pair of shoes online for $200 less. I will never go back to this store. Beware !

Have had such great success from the Mario at shoe design. Ive had happy feet and been able to hike many miles as well walk high mileage this year with out any feet problems or body aches because of continued care and great shoes from shoe design.

A couple of years ago I purchased tennis shoes for mall walking. The attraction of Shoe Design was that not only did I purchase good quality tennis shoes but as I did my mall walking, I would return to the store for customized fitting reflected from my mall walking. I made a few visits to get the best custom fitting adjustments right for my feet, which is part of their plan. Did this ever make a difference in mall walking comfort and the distance I walked!After returning to the Grand Junction area from another state, I went mall walking and knew my feet were hurting so it was time to return to the Shoe Design store. They checked my shoes, corrected the inserts and I am back to happy feet mall walking. The professionalism and good customer service brings this rating to 5 stars!
