I have known Zeph Lock for over 11 years. I see that the superior quality of his work is part of the excellent quality of his character and work ethic. For many years I was Zephs strength coach. When I met him he was already extremely strong and athletic. However he was in no way satisfied with that. He saw much room for improvement, and he executed on that with mindfulness and consistency. In later years I observed operations at his stone cutting shop. In fact I was often called to help him, because the work requires immense physical strength and very few people are able to assist him at all. The atmosphere of deliberate precision, thoughtfulness and quality at the shop reflects everything I know about Zeph. The way Zeph communicates is clear, focused and easy to understand. He has true commitment to his craft. This style of communicating has driven his success while learning in the physical realm, and creating in the aesthetic and technical realms of fine stonework. Zeph and his crew did an great job on a tricky project. First, a large kitchen with odd angles which was fitted within a millimeter. Then a big piece of fragile, blue marble for our fireplace surround and 9 foot hearth (boxed with mitered corners). Competitive prices and more than competent fabrication to make our dream house a reality.

Zeph Lock, the owner of Lockstone Granite did our kitchen countertops in granite in July 2020. He replaced a ceramic tile countertop. Since we were not replacing cabinets, there were a number of issues he had to deal with including a bay window (installed by previous owner) that was not aligned with cabinet tops. We were concerned with the bay window and under counter sink installation. His cuts and installation were perfect.
