Starting with the good. This Dollar General has a very convenient location that is within walking distance for many local residents and has plenty of parking for anyone who needs to drive. They have a wide variety of goods that are fairly reasonably priced.On with the bad. The store is not kept in order or cleaned regularly. Even the entry doors are filthy, let alone the floors and shelves. Thankfully the products they sell are packaged goods.I do shop here for convenience and that hopefully the patronage will help solve their cleanliness issues.

The store was clean, great choices of fresh vegetables. Shelfs were stocked and in order all la el faced the customers. Just a pleasant experience to shop this store.

Cleanest DG store in the area. Nice employees. Edit 8/1/20: Didnt catch her name, younger girl helped me lift up the big bag of dog food from my cart to scan it, awesome since its hard to lift 35lbs one handed. Very awesome.

I go there mainly for the price on seasonal decorations or little dollar toys for kids. I cant say that the prices on foods and other items are particularly that great but its value is in the convenience of a last minute item.It is also not a place I like to linger, particularly with my kids because it is so dirty and cluttered with narrow aisles. I can be heard yelling dont touch that! everytime we go. Definitely not one of those stores doing any extra cleaning during covid times. There are products obstructing the aisles, disorganized piles of unmarked items, and weeks old floor stains all throughout the store. I dont think its really ever busy, either so Im not sure why its so messy. Ive seen way better dollar generals.

Is fine you ll find a lot of items a very low prices but be prepared to spend 30 minutes on line to pay due 1 cashier per shift.

Very well stocked and larger selection than usual dollar stores, certainly one of the best dollar stores Ive been to. Not so clean but its a dollar store..Good discounts with sales, staff can be friendly and helpful. Cheap.

This store has been the “go to” place for my youngest daughter and her friends. As they grew up, they would stock up on snacks and buy little toys. Staff have always been friendly and helpful to us. In the olden days, I believe this building was a grocery store (National Tea Co?), so the site definitely has roots in retail.

Shop local and help keep these stores open. This is a great neighborhood store, with a little bit of everything.

Not the nicest looking place. There were racks in the way of the back aisle and the area between the cash registers. Prices were pretty fair, and the items in stock were pretty impressive with name brands and high quality grocery items.

The supermarket is located in a pretty great location. They provide quality goods and their prices are unbelievably affordable.

Very friendly and helpful. Kathy is awesome! While the staff is friendly, it is very hard to get through the isles due to product in carts all over the store.

Its usually sort of messy in the store. Not dirty, but the items are difficult to find. Its not organized. The staff is usually nice, but sometimes they seem to be a bit judgy.

Needed a cheap plastic brush to clean the bird bath. Found just what I was looking for.

Way better then the Round Lake stores I will go out of my town all the way to Grayslake just to go to the Dollar General because the service and the upkeep of the store is 10 times better than the ones in Round Lake. Keep up the good work!

I was surprised at how many things they have here. We walked it there after the flooding last week because we needed milk. Granted some grocery items are a little pricier but it is a convenient place to go to when you need a few things here and there. Customer service was ok. Store is always clean.

This is my go to Dollar General Store. It is clean, well laid-out, and always stocked.

Been to many Dollar General stores and this one is way too small. Can hardly get through the aisles. Dont even have automatic entrance doors you have to just bang it open with your cart to get out.

The people who work at this Dollar General are really awful. They treat high school student customers with contempt then turn around and try to impress them with tales of drug escapes from their youth. As far as the store is concerned, its nothing special. Same dollar stuff, but the service is pretty abismal.

Just walking around Grayslake and my daughter had to use the bathroom. Super sketchy

Staff upfront with lines of customers. What is going on with COO . The few stores in Lake county are a big mess. Pay your staff and get hiring! Shame on you! >$160.00 a share.Greedy bunch. And have the broken floor tiles in all your stores repaired too.The villages need to do a health inspection, building inspection walk thru on your stores.
