Magnificent selection. Great Team. Helpful Osco Pharmacy. My husband was checking out with our groceries and tried to use the Osco Card with five Prescription Stickers for twenty percent off of our grocery bill. The Manager asked the Bagger to bring the card to the pharmacy and get the twenty percent coupon. He did and our Cashier deducted it from our bill. We saved over $20 today!

Good service, but its a little dirty inside.

Not one order I’ve put in for drive up and go has been correct. For example: I ordered white American cheese and they thought to substitute it with pepper jack... They also only gave me half my order before and I didn’t realize until I was home and missing my items. I only go here for the convenience of location proximity to my house.

My store for 18 years, tried the others and I still come back to this Jewel. The personel rock.

We’ve been in Grayslake since 1999 and this Jewel has gone down hill. I never really looked at expiration dates, since I figured they know what they’re selling. Wrong. Came home with peanut butter that expired last year, salad that expired 10 days ago and crackers that expired in February. Unfortunately, the convenience of location is no longer a reason to go here. Never have this problem at the local Target.

Produce department is sub-par. This is the third time I will have to request a credit for literally undrinkable bitter fresh squeezed orange juice.When speaking about it to the produce team I am told, “It arrives that way from the warehouse and there’s nothing we can do about it and that they have lodged several complaints to the warehouse, to no avail.” I like to shop local but this leaves me no choice but to sadly shop elsewhere.

Out of some of the jewels i been at this one is by far my favorite store. The selections are amazing, fresh, great deals and the store is set up and organized very well i really love this jewel. Not to mention the employees are actually very helpful and want to help unlike some of the other jewels i have been to. Omg and they have the HUGE LOBSTERS I LOVE THANK YOU😊😊😊😊

Ive been going to jewel fort years and of late, it is terrible. They biggest complaints I have is the workers that shop fort people to pickup after very rude. They are typically not courteous to other shoppers. When youre at the shelves they will cut you off. They are both friendly and never say excuse me. Ive commented to customer service, not no improvement that I saw.

I went through pharmacy drive through around 6:15pm and luckily there was no line. The technician filled my prescription and then the pharmacist came to the window and was very informative with the px I was receiving. Very kind service and prompt.

The employees have this aura about them that is so helpful and calming. Thank you for completely changing my Outlook on going shopping.

Jewel need to have fresh fruit and vegetables. The people who does bagging need to be trained correctly, they try to bag so much stuff in one bag.

It was ok except that they advertise something at one price and charge you another. Then claim theres a sign advertising the higher price when there wasnt because I checked 3 times.

Solid selection on fruit and fresh produce. Like all jewels the isles all see too small and cramped. But nice people and good place to shop.

Selling expired over the counter medications. Didnt think I needed to check if the product was expired before purchasing.

I would give zero stars if possible. Without fail every time i go to this location the lines are into the aisles with 2 cashiers ringing. They pretend like they don’t see that lines are wrapped into the aisles and take no action. I waited in line today for 33 mins! Everyone in line was visibly frustrated and no leadership anywhere to be found! This happens literally every time i go. Now i know that they are probably going to blame Covid...and staffing...ect vs them having leadership and taking action. I ran boxes for Home Depot...and Best Buy. We had people trained from other areas that could help speed things up when needed. Is customer service really your top priority? It’s a shame that i have to go out of my way to go to another location bs my neighborhood store because of lack of leadership. Every time i make sure i ask for a manager and voice my opinion. It’s always the same excuse with staffing. Not my problem ...fix it!

Nice place but you pay a little more money

It will s hard to find everything you need. Clean, good produce. Tight isles. We found the hamburger meat was not what it was stated. We always purchase 94% fat free. It was loaded with fat. I would but meat elsewhere.

First, the important bit: self-checkout machines have been reinstalled. (In my opinion, the removal of the previous self-checkout machines was quite possibly one of the worst decisions in the history of business.)Overall Positives:- Medium-sized stores that (generally) allow for quick shopping trips with a reasonable trade-off between store size and selection- Rainchecks- Staff can be very helpful- Quality products (generally)- Frequent Sales and DiscountsOverall Negatives:- Absolutely NO logic was applied during the organization of the layout of products within the store (I spend 10 minutes looking for ready-to-drink, bottled sweet tea, thinking itd be with the other bottled beverages -- no, its with the ground coffee and tea bags)- Staff can be very unhelpful- Products can be of abysmal quality- Most products are overpriced- Certain products are nearly ALWAYS out of stock (Im looking at you, delicious made-in-house Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies)A few adjustments could very, very easily rectify many of these negatives, and improve the experience for all.

Jewel seems to be relly trying to beat out Meijers.The store was very pretty and people were veryhelpful. Walmart and Aldis are still the best prices !

I usually like Jewel and appreciate their customer service. Today as I was leaving, I had forgotten my 2 large bags of ice, so I turned my cart around in the exit vestibule and I was going to try to push the door back the opposite way and I did hit it with the front of my cart. I was starting to go around my cart to do this by hand and the supervisor with long grey hair started yelling at me! All customers could hear her berate me. I admit it was a mistake, but she went off yelling that I was going to crash the door! I hope she feels better, because it certainly didn’t make me feel better. She could have asked how she could help or what I was trying to do. I have worked in customer service before; hers was not the best response! I will wary the next time I think about going to Jewel. Maybe Woodman’s a better choice!

Always seems to be in stalk of everything I need unless there is a snow storm coming then good luck but that can be said for any other place. Clean and friendly staff here!

Its ok run of the mill grocery store. Shelves are stocked staff is available if help is needed. Lines get out of control and hardly have many cashiers working. Prices are higher than other competitors with few perks to offset higher prices.

For the most part my experience was good. The only slight problem was with the deli lady. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what. Seems like she was in a hurry and just slapped my cheese together. Not cool. Also cut the meat and cheese WAY too thick. Never asking how I wanted it cut. Ive worked at a deli years ago and know the thicker u cut the less passes with the slicer.....was she trying to cut corners 🤔 Id have to say yes. Other than that debacle my trip was good. I know who this lady is now and will try to avoid having her wait on me if I go to their deli again. On the bright side the cashier was super friendly. The bagger was I believe slightly challenged bc he took his mask down to talk to me. He said no one can hear him with that darn mask on. He was right....but pls keep the mask on. I was not offended at all as I said I believe he was challenged. No harm no foul.

J-O unfortunately has changed over the years and not for the better. Low stock, no longer carrying many brands, not competitive on pricing. Produce dept is spotty, vegetables are often overripe and not fit to purchase. . The deli changes suppliers often too, so if you have a favorite item, they will probably change and no longer carry it. There are other options in the Grayslake area for higher quality produce, meat, and deli.if you have the time, do your research- competitive pricing, superior produce selections with very fresh vegetables and fruit, and deli meats and cheeses.

Its a nice jewel. Their floral department could improve! Nobody is ever there and when you ask for one, theyd have to be called on 3 to 4 times before anyone shows up! Theyre currently low on helium so dont bother coming here for balloons! Also their express lane is always the most packed!

I stop in this location at least once or twice a week. Staff in the early morning are always kind and quick to get me checked out. Store is always super busy during lunch so if your hoping to grab lunch from their hot bar around noon plan for the lines.

I love the selection of fresh foods, low prices and brand name products here, you can literally find just about everything you need!

This location has great staff, a lot of which seem to have been here for a while which comes in handy when looking for things. Always friendly. The shelves are well stocked, produce looks great, and prices are pretty good too. Oh and the butchers are super friendly!

I was on the phone with a lady today for a job Application she was very disrespectful through the phone and made everything very complicated saying to do eight hour shifts and then saying they’re not available and they don’t have first shift second shift or third shift and every week there’s schedule changes it’s not set schedule.

Great grocery, and for tourists staying in the area, the best value for money for bagels, coffee, breakfast, beer, and lunch/dinner buffet.

Jewel always has a diverse selection of food. There is a whole aisle of health/organic foods and the prices are fair compared to other grocery stores. The staff here was very nice. One person helped us look for a bakery bread that we love and two helped us in the self checkout when the machine wasnt working well. This store is not usually packed and we can get in and out fairly quickly.

Nice to be open at 6 am. Needed lunch for work. Great sandwiches and salads.

This is the second week in a row that this delivery has been late. I pay for the delivery to come during a certain hour that’s the whole point about picking the delivery hours it doesn’t say it’s going to be off or anything different it says it’s going to come during that time frame. I called the store five minutes after the time frame they were late getting here. And they told me they were just putting together deliveries and it be another hour or more. I never get exactly what I ordered and last time I got two bags of somebody else’s groceries which means somebody else didn’t get what they ordered. I will not order from them again.

Doesnt matter what day or time, never enough lanes open, always long lines. Youd think in todays data-driven world a big company like Jewel would figure out how to optimize staff. Obviously business is good - hire more cashiers!!

I order grocery delivery from this store regularly and they do a mediocre job. Items on the shopping list are frequently ignored and out of stock items are not substituted appropriately. If I order a 20oz ketchup and you dont have that one, send me something else! Dont tell me there is no ketchup available.

Typical Jewel store with liquor and beer, fresh produce, deli, florist. There is a quick lane. Good prices on some things, normally higher prices than other grocery stores is typical. Motorized carts are available. Seems nicer than the Round Lake Jewel. Gas station in the parking lot. Other stores in same strip mall Jewel is connected to.

I love this Jewel because its a little smaller and not quite as busy and during the time of covid, I like feeling less crowded when Im shopping!

This morning I was shopping at this store. While doing so I coughed (covering my mouth) and this was not illness related...two employees stocking made a comment loud enough for me to heatif you are coughing you should stay home. First of I understand staying home as I work in healthcare, second your staff need educating that not all coughs are illness related. Thank you
