Northern Air Systems, Inc., highly recommended by another local business, provided an excellent experience from the in-person free estimate to installation.Business Owner Bob Ropke runs a very professional business with a polite, thoroughly knowledgeable team. Bobby, Mike, and Mitch worked for seven hours, only breaking for lunch. As a result, this job was completed in one day. Thanks to Owner Bobs measurements of the roof access hatch in our condo building, we had options of upgrades. This included one that fit through the roof hatch. We saved considerably because our HVAC Replacement did not require a crane.Additionally, Bob simplified the process by emailing us attachments with our new HVAC options and a price quote. These photos and highlighted features were immensely helpful in making great choices. Northern Air prides itself on cultivating good, solid business relationships with their clients. Reputation is key. Owner Bob didnt try to sell us anything we didnt need. In fact, we decided to put some of the money we saved from not needing a crane into an energy efficient HVAC Filter, Aprilaire.Finally, Kate and Stacy in Northern Air Systems Office, are always pleasant and helpful. It is now my pleasure to highly recommend this company. They truly are heating and cooling experts.

They just downright inspire confidence. Weve used Northern Air Systems for several years now for HVAC maintenance and have been very happy with the service they provide. We decided to replace our furnace and AC this year. We had a competitor come out and give us a quote and the saleperson was mostly interested in selling a system and didnt take any time to look at the ducts, etc. Bob from Northern Air came out to give us a bid and took measurements and made drawings before trying to sell anything. He explained everything and answered all my questions, and even made some recommendations for more efficient ductwork at a later time, if we wanted.The installers of the unit arrived on time and worked until the unit was installed. They also answered questions we asked as they were installing the furnace and AC.Bob has been very responsive to questions I had about rebates. The installed thermostat has lots of features that Ive never worked with before and Bob has arranged a time to come out again and go over all the bells and whistles.

My furnace was running on and on and not keeping up with the thermostat so I called Northern Air Systems. The gentleman who responded did so within an hour or so and after some preliminary discussion and inspection of my furnace he was able to troubleshoot why this was happening. To fix it required a mere filter change. He explained the situation as since we were using tap water in our newly purchased humidifier, it caused mineral deposits to be collected by the filter to a point of restricted airflow which caused the furnace to over heat and trigger it to shut down. Once it cooled it would start right up again. He changed the filter and Ive had no further issues since. The cost was in line with the services provided.

Was able to get service on short notice. Needed additional service for water heater, and tech. completed 2nd service on same day.

I now know why they have 5 stars. Easily my best repair service experience. I did my due diligence and called around to other recommendations from family and friends and figured that if the estimate was fair, I would stick with the local company just because. They came in as soon as they could, and were knowledgeable, courteous, and determined to figure out my issue quickly, since it was 5 below outside and my kids could see their breath Inside the house. We have an annual appointment now and I cant recommend them enough. Thanks Bob!

I have been a contract heating and AC inspection customer for many years, and have come to rely on the thorough job they always do for me. This is not a quick in and out look before moving on to the next appointment -- usually an hour or more is spent going over every detail of my equipment. Paying for this twice-a-year service sure beats taking my chances on a summer or winter crisis later.

We originally bought our furnace & air conditioned from them years ago. I have them out twice a year for preventative maintenance and always a professional positive experience.

Promised to take a look at my job. I Tried following up multiple times and got no response. Finally heard back 5 days later that he is too busy. Being without heat, i just lost valuable 5 days. Not a great way to treat a potential customer. Would not recommend.

I called Northern Air Systems after a previous HVAC worker wouldnt come back to finish the job he started on my boiler system. My boiler was working, but after he left I only had half the heat registers working in my house because they failed to bleed the air out of the system after the work they did.These guys had someone out to my house within 4 hrs to get my boiler heater back up and running. Joe the technician was great to work with and communicated with me on how to do some maintenance on my own in the future if I need to bleed my system in the future. Great service on a couple of old boilers. Technician tried a number of low-cost potential solutions before recommending a higher cost replacement. Willing to teach me how to keep it running until we did replace needed components. Did not charge for solutions that ended up not working.

We recently had to call Northern Air Systems out to replace an Inducer Motor that had been replaced under a year ago, also by Northern. Eric came out but did not have correct part in truck so came out a few days later and completed repair. Lennox initially claimed their warranty was only 30 days, but upon further review and with Northerns urging they did warranty their product and refund the part cost.
