The store is nice. sometimes items are hard to find, but the associates are very helpful. A great place to shop overall.

This location is nice and clean. There are a lot of varieties brands. The meat and produce are fresh.

Becareful when purchasing food here. I have stopped by this Safeway countless of times and almost every other purchase I find spoiled food. I dont know if the pandemic is the cause, or poor food rotation. Moreover, just make sure you check your food and expiration date prior to making a purchasea

This supermarket is expensive for no reason at all. I am from out of town and was staying in a nearby Hotel and needed something the cook I am gluten free and noticed they dont have a lot of gluten free foods they have packaged Goods like chips and cookies but no gluten-free food items to choose from. Was very very upset that another location that I frequent from home was about an hour away so this was the only supermarket in the area. Everything in the store is overpriced

This store regularly only has self checkout open. The machines dont detect weight well and constantly need to be cleared by a staff member. No one who works at the self checkout seems to understand that when the machines shout Please wait, help is on the way with a giant blinking light 8 feet in the air, that they need to walk to that machine and actually clear the system. I watched a young man wait for over 5 minutes as the staff person stared at him and didnt move this morning. I finally called her over, as he was young and naive enough to think she might actually do this one task of her job voluntarily. The same thing happens to me pretty much every time I go in here.I only go here because its located directly along a route I drive regularly. Its aggravating every time.

The fruit is a little pricey; yet, we live in Florida. Good prices; great customer service! I got so many items for around $50 bucks total.

Not happy with the response I received when I asked an employee about the wipes used to clean the cart handle. He responded with no we dont have any more and a look that made me feel it is what it is and walked away. Glade to know the second employee had a solution of paper towels and hand sanitizer. It looks like Customer Service in order for the first employee!!! Sorry I gave that first employee back the same look with attitude he had given me. As the customer, I should have been better and talked to his manager because the employee needed help not attitude.

Safeways are just awesome. Always a good experience whenever I visit one. 👏👏

Great prices and customer service.

While I think this is one of the better stores in the dmv area the bakery stuff don’t follow directions and lack communication on contacting customers in the event colors or decor isn’t available. They proceed to do what they think might fit instead of consulting persons who placed order! The cake I ordered i would give 2 out of 10! My order was obviously written wrong, the colors was off colors were added I didn’t say when was told they didn’t have the exact colors I requested. While the bakery lady tried to fix as much as possible I’m not satisfied at all!

Still struggling with my favorite merchant. So, please check the meat and fish merchant. When you sign off the shipment is what you ordered and then say I cant get my money back because of your friend PANDAMIC IT MAKES ME MAD!

I like going to this Safeway meat selection and quality is good

So at first I could find single protien bars and was upset but I eventually found them in a different isle. All is well I just need to go there for quick trips and happy they are near my work

This place has always been our main source for groceries when Costco products are just a little much, but I gotta say, since the pandemic started, these guys, well known for their lower prices and constant sales are starting to slip. Weve been ordering deliveries from Amazon lately and going by the prices in the shop when I visited last Wednesday, everything was about $1-3 more expensive. Given delivery charges tip, delivery fees, shipping and service fees, its generally more expensive then going to your local store. In this case however, its not.The store itself isnt bad, but if you want to save both a trip and some money, consider delivery online from another resource.

Usually busy, no matter what time or day of the week. The parking lot can be a nightmare at times. Decent selection of the usual grocery options. We usually do self checkout because its typically faster than waiting in line for a cashier.

This is a nice store, where the BWI & 495 meet. Its well-stocked. Thats what make an easy and efficient trip to the grocer.

I like this place everything is perfectly kept.. I can check my BP also.. grocery stuff is always fresh.. I like their clearance points :) this year Valentines gifts have variety and more colors.. Monopoly is also going on these days.. their restroom is never cleaned ;( In Baking section, variety of breads and rosemarry roasted chicken is the best

I appreciate the convenience of curbside pickup at this store, but would caution anyone to be careful with dairy products you get there. My last three orders have contained expired dairy products. The most recent item was six months expired childrens yogurt pouches! These could make someone - especially a kid - seriously ill. Please double check expiration dates on any dairy purchased here.

The service was good today, friendly and courteous cashier. Had a fabulous sale on sirloin steal today. Almost did the dance. The safeway had everything I needed and found some really fresh lettice. The four pack tomato had one bad tomato, how did I miss this one. Overall, not to shabby here today.

Smaller Safeway that carries typical fare. The produce is fresh but the pre-cut stuff goes bad quickly. They dont carry too much outside of standard fare. However, other local stores have that market covered. The store is clean. They have a butcher on duty until early evening weekdays. While I have never had anything bad from their meat section i prefer cuts from the butcher. Just personal preference though. The pharmacy has a separate waiting room with door that is a decent size for several customers. They are offering the COVID vaccine. Nice large floral section. In-store Starbucks. Clean restrooms. The staff is pretty nice but the Customer Service desk can tricky. It is usually not attended but staff come over in a timely fashion. This store is more expensive than the Giant down the road but has better quality meat and produce.

My dear Safeway! my supermarket! but now I live in Charlotte Co. Virginia, not Safeway around here, still I have my membership card, so I only can shop when I am away from home, my favorite: French bread, some yogurt, just to calm stomach to drive back home: for 3 hours.

Nice grocery store in Maryland greenbelt

This is a nice Safeway and I would shop there on a more regular basis but is a bit pricey so I usually go to Giant.

It is clean. Produce section is well arranged. It is hard to get around and find stuff.

The disability carts are never charged.

Store is clean, except the public bathroom. That was better than some public restrooms, but could be cleaner. Additionally, the door does not lock. Staff was pretty helpful and friendly.

Worst Safeway I’ve ever been to. The bakery department is a mess. Never again.

Clean,close to the hotel I was staying but I needed to come back because I had large $10 chicken caesar salad with No dressing instead I had 2 packages of croutons that I dont eat! The salad was fresh yet the dressing should be included too.

Great selection of produce, meats, and standard grocery and household products. I miss old world bread in the bakery, and some middle eastern international items, like tahini. The Asian section is pretty good.

This safeway is always clean when I go here. I just didnt like that there was only one register open last time I went (which I understand because of the pandemic) but the cashier told me I could use my WIC card at self checkout (Ive done this at Walmart) but it didnt work and I just paid out of pocket so I wouldnt hold the lines up.

Filthiest restroom Ive ever seen in a modern supermarket. No toilet paper roll holder. The giant roll was on the floor. No paper towels, just an air dryer. No trash can! If the employees are using this restroom, and if this what Safeway thinks is ok, then think about what you might be picking up from the produce and prepared foods. 1/22/2020 at 6:00 pm

Full grocery store compared to Aldi or Lidl

Like many stores this store is on the expensive side, but they must know this because they often offer really great free items to get you back into the store. My most recent item was a full-sized cooked rotisserie chicken that was simply excellent.
