NEVER open at 11a.m like hours state online or in person on desk. Always wait 15-20 minutes for someone to open until I decide to just come at a later time, came back at 11:45 & still someone has yet to come in today, very annoying! Definitely last time coming to this location.
Optical Steve retired, and Angela is now managing the JCPenney Optical Department at Southridge. She is so friendly and efficient, and looked back at my records and made some great suggestions for my new order for glasses. Trust me on this, I was sad when Steve retired but the quality of the Optical Department with Angela is an A+. She called me as soon as my new glasses came in, and I went right there to get them! Beautiful! This is the first time I ever bought new glasses and the frame and nose piece didnt have to be adjusted a dozen times, besides having to go back because my ears got sore from the ear frames not balanced! I put my new glasses on yesterday and they were PERFECT. No adjustments needed! Angela had measured everything exact when she ordered them. The blended bifocals were measured perfect, too. Today I am proudly wearing my new glasses and they are still the BEST. I wonder if she can have another pair made for me for my up North time??? I either lose them, or really give them an accidental strength test on how sturdy they truly are..... Angela, thank you so much! I love you! You can never retire!!!
I love my new glasses!! Steve Arnold was so helpful and assisted me in finding a pair that fit my head properly, and looked good. I used a coupon which worked great. Everything went smoothly, I would certainly recommend Penney’s optical and plan to go back when I need glasses again!!
