Bought a hat to get a custom word printed. Thought i could wait there (usually takes about 20 minutes). Told the guy who does it wasn’t there. Asked them if I could get it tomorrow. They said they will do their best. Tomorrow came and no call. Two days later they said their machine was down and they’ll contact me the next day. No call. Now it’s been six days and i have no idea what’s going on. Very unprofessional. Do not get a custom print there. Go elsewhere.

I have been running across the problem of improperly trained employees who can not run the machine that provides the service i need. The times i was able to get the service i needed it was correct and efficient though. Just wish it wouldnt delay my business the way it does.

Staff is usually helpful and friendly. I can usually find a clearance hat or take advantage of the buy one get one half off deal. I always buy my hats at Lids and I have quite a few. If they dont have it in the store they will see if they can order it for me also.

Ok selection of hats but sizes and teams are very limited. Overall a good shop for a Milwaukee mall.

They have a great selection of both fitted hats & snap back hats. They also have hats that look fitted, but come in sizes s-m, m-l, l-xl, which is great if youre buying a hat for someone as a gift whos never own a fitted hat. The woman who helped us was SUPER helpful, informative, & looked up hats at other locations & for ordering online.

Ive heard Lids is one of many in a series of retailers in trouble. Heres the thing: yeah, you can go online and buy your 5950, your snap back - whatever. Lids does offer cool deals, they do have good stuff. For energy time Ive gone here, there is another I left and didnt buy anything. You walk in, you see or you dont see what you want, which is usually ill-defined from the get-go. You go here to find a cool hat; your taste and want will walk you around this small shop and youll either find it or you wont. This review is almost impossible to get right, just like defining what you want there. Mostly because its challenging to say, it love this place; I do, actually, but Ive been disappointed and I cant help lids because Ill see 3-4 design elements I want and want to mash them together. For that reason, I dont buy online, but if I leave here empty handed, I leave wanting more.
