Placed an online order for pick up, that was the easy part.About 15 min later get a voicemail from someone talking so fast all I got from the message were that items were out of stock.Called 3 times before I actually got to talk to a person. Nightmare!Things are not available, it happens, however the customer service at this location SUCKS! I did not have any of these issues with the West Allis location.Perhaps they need to verify several times a day what is available so that people are not ordering things they can not get. When I placed the order, nothing popped up to let me know that the items were unavailable.

Placed an online order. Drove all the way to the store. The rude associate says they “tried to call me” that they did not have what I ordered. I never received a call. Never received a message. In fact I received an email that CONFIRMED my order was ready for pick up….so now I have to dispute the charge on my card. No apology or offering to make the situation better she just was so rude.

Be careful to check each stores inventory. They dont carry everything on the internet and didnt have golf birthday decorations.

So many items out of stock. Employees are helpful & friendly. Store looks aged, and never enough employees. Also ridiculous that they charge 1.19 per balloon to blowup latex...it costs more than the balloon!

Horrible customer service. I drove out of my way to get products that were in stock and available for pick up. I arrive and I get this response some items may not be out, but some still in the back . There were 20 different items in stock but not out on the floor? Couldnt the man have checked for me and got the item out of the back? I also could hear the cashiers talking inappropriate about why they broke up with their exes. I had items in my cart and left it there because the place was not worth my time. Order online it will save you the hassle.

Good deals on balloons and other things

Alot for adults but not that much for children

So...... Curbside pickup. You know. That thing that most stores offer now due to COVID. I’m personally not a fan of it in most cases, but the wife is, and that’s who placed the order. Me, being a good husband, ran to pick it up when she got the email that my sons birthday balloons were ready. So I headed out, hit the selection that I was there, and within 3 minutes an associate came out with the only non inflatable item on the order. She handed it to me and turned to go back in the store. No... I’ll be back with the rest of the order or anything. I thought, ok...she’ll be back out in a few. 30 minutes later...... after watching countless of customers walk in, then out with large orders of balloons, I call the store. I get, yes.. we’re working on it. 5 minutes later a kid walks out and says they are still working on it. 15 MORE minutes goes by, and someone finally comes out with the order. 50 minutes to wait for an order that we were told was ready for pickup. Completely unacceptable. By any and all standards.

They were really busy but still really nice. Didnt have to wait long for the balloons I went to go get last second.

I was on a mission today. Party City was the place. My associate both times today was friendly and helpful. I had purchased 2 balloons from another store in December. They were unable to fill them (Their tank was down ). Needed them for the 5th of this month. Tank still down. That is ok Party City saved me. I appreciate the understanding from the store associate. Thank you. No name on the receipt. Will stop again.

The prices here are great. Party supplies pretty much for all occasions. Although a lot seems to be out of stock, empty shelves. Also seem to be pretty short staffed, but the staff they have are very friendly and helpful.

Talk about being disappointed! I purchased a order online for my daughter 11th birthday ( Wild Child theme) and did NOT get none of the balloons I ordered that match the theme!!! Instead I was given someone else balloon order... the number 12 at that! So in the cold/wind me and my kids went to Party City to return the number 12 and get what I purchased just to see a note on the door stating temporary closed due to power outage so now I have to wait until who knows how long just to get a refund, because I want every dime back!! My daughter was so disappointed. Overall... The theme is beautiful! (minus the cheap table cloth that feels like paper)

Never have what we need. Stock is always out and staff is few and far between. Only 1 register open the day before Valentines Day with many people in line. Customers didnt look happy. We left without buying 1 thing.😕

I used to go frequently to this store but recent experiences has not been great. I ordered online to pick up helium balloons and went on time to pick up, they said it was less one balloon and needed to fill it, I expected they would fill it right away to honor my pick up time but I was kept waiting till she could finish other customers who were in line but did not order ahead though . After waiting for a bit i went up to the counter again they got the balloon ready but visually the two ladies working on it did not seem happy. I asked for a balloon cover so that they don’t pop in car which she responded was a $1 extra and I was ready to pay right away, now she asked me to go back in the line again?! How rude? Why could not she just take the payment from me let me go?! I waited patiently again but the line was not moving, I went up to her and asked her that I don’t need the cover as I m running late. (My kids are waiting for the party to start and I m stuck with this very inefficient service.) Now she yells to another guy working at the store to remove the cover and give the balloons to me. Seemed very disrespectful to me as a customer. It really took me a lot to not let this experience spoil my mood right before a family party.Honestly the only thing good is the guy whoWorks there, he is very patient and I always good experiences with him. Hopefully store works on bringing friendly staff who are not chasing away customers. The stuff they sellIs good but experience dealing with theirstaff not so much.

I love this store, their selection and the great customer service. The store is clean and neat. They have almost everything you need for a party. Some of their items are pricey but you can get them cheaper from another store nearby. I got everything I was looking for and I didnt have to wait in line because I went there at the right time. Ill definitely go back and recommend it to everyone I know. Nothing but love.

Ordered online Mickey Mouse balloons at 7:30am. They called around 9am (which I appreciated) saying they don’t have the specific balloon but they advised to come into the store to pick from other Mickey balloons they could fill up. No problem and understandable. They open at 10 AM and we got there at 11:30 AM. We found a few good ones and were told that at the check out that they’re out of helium so they’re not filling balloons. 0 stars and a total waste of time and gas.

There was no designated order pick up location in the store and it was hard to find employees anywhere. There seemed to be one person working the register and another blowing up balloons. Had to wait 20 minutes to tell someone my name and walk out with my stuff.

Shopped for all my party supplies to only find out at checkout where you place a balloon order there was no helium.Apparently there helium shortages do exist....Wouldve been appropriate to post signage to state they have no helium...

I love the fact that everything is color coded! My first stop if I need anything of a certain color!

Really like Party Citys, go there a lot for all party needs. However, it doesnt matter the location Minnesota, Wisconsin or even Washington you always have to wait in line. Been known to wait in line for up to 10 to 15 minutes.

I found the item I wanted online and was able to pick it up at the store a few hours later. Very convenient.

Had what I needed, easy to order things online for pick up. But like I’ve seen on here otherwise, the person that “helped” me at the pickup counter was very put out by the fact that I had ordered balloons with the misc. items I bought. After she handed me my bag and said that was it, I mentioned the balloons that she followed with a scoff and “Well! That’s completely different.” Listen, I don’t know your business inside and out. I don’t buy inflated balloons ever, so I don’t know the process. If she had taken the time to actually look at the order sheet, or even my email that I had open on my phone the whole time, she could have simply said that the balloons were on the table behind me and I would have been glad to just grab them. However she decided to be unnecessarily rude about the whole thing. It’s party favors and balloons. This shouldn’t be a high stress situation for any of the staff.

Check out is backwards so you have to go through other people in order to go check out and then fight back through them again. They have zero help.....1 cashier and the checkout line was 10 people deep. Wouldnt honor a coupon from their website even though the restrictions specifically say it must be honored. Then didnt beg some of the items and was extremely rude.

I LOVE PARTY CITY, there are no more party supply stores around us like there used to be, & they have a GREAT SELECTION! I have spent ALOT of money here (most recently $378 )as I have 4 children & graduations, birthdays & Confirmations. But I am also disabled and I was in so much pain the other day when I was there because they dont have amigo carts, So that would be my only Suggestion. Thank you

Good selection, fairly clean store, but the prices were elevated. By far there worst aspect was the service, as a long line of us waited for one cashier to count out individual candies (there were over 300) for one customer, and another basket full for another. At no point did she request another cashier, nor move with any sense of purpose. Clearly she disliked what she was doing as much as I disliked waiting for her to do it. I will only go back when I run out of other options.

Ordered online from Party city for my daughters 6th birthday party (dinner plates, dessert plates, and a rather large balloon display). Placed order 1 1/2 weeks prior to party. Party city will only hold order 1 week before pick up date. Website stated to extend pick up date call store so we did. My wife talked to a manager and extended the date by 3 days. The morning of my daughters birthday I received an email at 3:30 AM that my order was cancelled. I called as soon as they opened to find out what happened. The manager I talked to (who was not the manager we spoke to to extend the pick up date) was very rude and told me we were supposed to pick up 2 days ago. Of course I explained the whole story to her and she told me they have been ready and blown up for 2 days. I went to the store to pick up on my way to the party. When I got there she told me they would have to look around for my order to see if it was still even there since I was 2 days late. I eventually got everything I ordered and left. I will never order anything from Party City again as long as I live. I will also pass along this story on to as many people that I can, so they wont have to go through this themselves on their special day. All 34 parents at the party have been warned already as well as the facility it was held at.

We ordered balloons online to have pump up at Party City. They recommended we add something to the helium to make them last longer. We trusted they knew what they were doing so said ok. They popped 2 of them and 2 more wouldnt float. They pumped 4 more up and added the special juice to them. By the morning they were all deflated. Very disappointing!!!!!

I love the balloons that they have. Some balloons even lasted ne a couple months off of just pure oxygen, no helium.

This is the only place I will shop for party supplies.

I had to take a Lyft to get some last minute decorations for my daughters birthday. It wasn’t busy at all so I’m wondering why I spent $10 on a big balloon that was filled there and lost most of its air before even getting home which is 7 minutes away. Very disappointing and now there’s nothing I can do about it.

Horrible Customer Service from the staff. Asked to speak to the manager and I was greeted with an attitude and her over speaking me,to the point that I couldn’t get a word out. Horrible Horrible location. I will not be back. I am now getting balloon services from Pick N Save at half the price. 👌🏻

They have great products at really great prices.. but I notice the employees and managers have a very lousy attitude. I dont know if they are under alot of work stress or their just miserable people. Either way they need to work on being more polite

I went here for birthday party supplies for my babys 1st birthday. Its a little messy but the prices were reasonable. They had more boy themes than girl ones, but I still found enough for a pink Minnie Mouse party.

Purchased multiple wedding invitation kits and when my Fiance and I were getting ready to use/print out invites, we noticed one of the boxes were excessively taped, as if someone returned them. Sure enough, AFTER printing the invites and getting them all ready, the accessories that were SUPPOSE to come with the invitations were missing. Whatever employee accepted this return without checking to see if everything was included, then putting it back on the shelf to be resold, should be fired. The accessories/embellishments of the invitations is what MAKES the invitations. I will be calling the manager tomorrow, and possibly corporate if I dont get a partial refund. Ive already printed on the invites... NOT HAPPY!

This place is a joke, I went there to pick up a pirate costume and theyre website said they had 7 in stock. When I got there they didnt have any. I could understand if the website said they had 1 or 2 in stock and they were out, but 7. I wasted my time and gas because they dont update their stock. Never going there again.

Waited in line on a Wednesday night for 30 minutes because there was 1 person checking out and doing balloons. When I was finally served, the cashier was very rude and didnt seem like she wanted to give me the time of day.

Good selection, nice employees, but very understaffed. Every time I go the lines are very long, and theres a long wait for balloons.

This is a place where you find everything you need for your party until you get on the waiting line to pay. My wife and I waited for what it seemed like a long time, and when we finally got our chance to go to the cashier to order some balloons, the cashiers attitude could not be worse. She made us feel like we were wasting her time while ordering balloons that she did not have. She didnt have the colors or styles that we wanted.If you do not need anything urgently, please avoid this store. You will wait a long time and when you get your turn, you will be treated like trash. Buy online or go somewhere else. I gave it two stars just because they have an impressive inventory, but so does the competition.

Gave decent product, but the lines were long and slow and they werent clear with how long the balloons stayed afloat: I bought them around 6pm, and when I woke up at 6am the next morning, they were all on the ground.

Went looking for a specific card, found it & several other unneeded but fun items. Some sale items were not marked, though.

While waiting for balloons I had to listen to the rude employees berate other customers as if I wasnt sitting right there. I understand Saturday mornings are stressful with all the balloons you need to blow up but keep comments to yourself because Im one of those customers.

I wanted to use a merchandise credit and was told by the cashier that they dont accept them over a year, then she said over 30 days, they were very busy, I didnt want to keep people waiting, so I left, called another store and asked if they expire and was told NO!

I love party city went there to get a lot of decorations for our wedding and we got our sons costume from party city very reasonable prices.

Horrible customer service - went to return my previous purchase two different times and each time they spent 20 minutes trying to return it then sent me away saying it couldnt be returned and I couldnt receive store credit either. They also lost part of my purchase because they moved it into the back room before the transaction was completed and then said they couldnt find it and sent me away with what was left that they didnt lose. Never got my money back AND dont even have the full kit that I originally purchased.

Went in for graduation and enlistment ballons and decoration. The store was very busy and staff was being pulled in many different directions but even so, they created a wonderful ballon buque and for an amazing price.
