We stopped in to this location on a Saturday. As this was our first time in a Steinhafels we were expecting a normal furniture buying experience with pushy salespeople. Our experience could not have been further from that. We were greeted promptly and Amanda took us for a tour of the sectionals. She got to know our needs and wants and pointed us in the right direction. Then she left us to ourselves to have honest discussion while not being hounded for a sale. We had multiple conversations with Amanda during our time in the store and ultimately left to think about what amounts to a very big decision. We came back the next day, found Amanda, and purchased the couch and protection plan. We will 100% be back and will recommend this store and Amanda.
Chris was personable, kind, considerate, helpful, and very professional. He spent plenty of time with us - even when the store closed. We had a brand of mattress in mind so the great help was totally focused making sure we would get not only what we wanted, but what would fit our needs.We came away as very satisfied customers.
Has an EXCELLENT experience from a humble sales consultant of Mr. Ryan. Since my entrance into the store it was nothing but welcoming. He was able to help understand the differences between mattress in order for me to obtain the one for my needs. He was very knowledgeable in explaining in details how mattress are distinct, and this helped me SO VERY MUCH. Plus, his way of interacting with customers was GREAT, not like other similar stores where you walk in and all of a sudden your the center of attention but they dont day much, they just watch you and dont even bother to clarify anything. Mr. Ryan was TOTALLY different, which made the experience worth going again, it exceeded my expectations.

@Steinhafels So, I ordered furniture back on August 6, where the rep said itll take 1 month. We paid in full and received an email confirmation with our tracking number. We checked the site and it said estimated delivery early September. We thought, Okay thats not too bad. So we waited and around the end of August, it was pushed back to end September. Now, this is not a special order of any sort, just a sectional. Every 2-3 weeks they kept delaying and pushing back the date and now it was updated to mid December!!! WTH! Also the kicker part is, if you go to their website as if you were ordering it today, it reads mid December as a delivery date! Just sitting waiting to scam and lie to other customers! Its a setup and the moment you pay, your item will be pushed back forever! So here we are without any furniture because remember we were told we were going to get it in September. Now it looks like for Thanksgiving, which I was going to host, I will have nothing! And Im not hopeful that they will get it to me for Christmas! Thanks for the lies Steinhafels, hopefully you treat your others better.
Chris Durni was amazing. He was easy to work with, super friendly and professional. Would recommend him to anyone! He also took the time to thoroughly explain the extended warranty that I purchased . Noone has done that before the way he did. Would definitely go back to that location!
We have shopped many furniture stores…and ALWAYS end up purchasing from Steinhafels. The store showrooms are beautifully kept and the staff is professional and friendly. Dean was are last sales person who assisted us is the purchase of our new sectional. He was friendly personable and very knowledgeable.
Visited a number of Mattress Stores and then went to Steinhafels and met Lindsay Peterson. It’s young Lady took tine and took care to answer all my questions about the different types of Mattresses. Purchased my mattress the same day and will be coming back (because of this young Lady to purchase more furniture. In today’s world this person is worth her weight in gold as a Salesperson. We were looking for a comfy chair for my husband who is going to be on chemotherapy for a while. We found one but it was a floor model and delivery could not be made until September. Chris our awesome sales person worked with Steinhafels corporate to get the chair off the floor for us. It fit my hubby like a glove! He can’t lie flat so this was just what he needed. We want to thank Chris for all he did and the empathy he showed for our situation. I will be buying my furniture and beds at Steinhafels in the future. Thanks again to Chris… wish all service personnel were as considerate and took a no pressure approach like he did!!!

This review is based off of the wonderful customer service Madeline gave us at the Steinhafels located in Greenfield. We had been shopping all day at Waukesha and our sales person became busy. After waiting for sometimes we decided to go get something to eat and had some troubles trying to complete our purchase online. Madeline was patient with us & allowed us to do one last look around before we made our final decision. I have had mixed reviews from this company. I ordered a living room suit as well as kitchen tabled chairs. My order was repeatedly pushed back and when I asked, I was offered another suit but at a charge. I’ve paid 3 delivery charges including my original delivery fee and still haven’t received all my furniture. When I asked why am I being charged I was told every delivery is an additional charge but was not clarified when I purchased. This is not good business and I am skeptical of buying here again.
We had a wonderful experience and even were treated promptly and efficiently when we had to make some changes after we ordered. The Manager Joelle at the Greenfield store is exceptional and so kind to her fellow employees. Very impressive!! What we ordered was on back order so we’re hoping for an early delivery but if not, it will be worth the wait. I also felt their prices were fairly competitive. They have plenty of staff to help but they don’t overwhelm you.

Unless you want to be without functioning furniture for many months when something goes wrong, I highly recommend purchasing elsewhere. Especially do not purchase the Guardsman warranty. The only thing Guardsman is guarding is their own pocket books. Weve been without a functioning couch since October and Steinhafels cant get us our replacement until the end of May. This is the most absurd time line of events Ive ever experienced with any company.
This was our first visit to this store and we were duly impressed. We were looking for several pieces of furniture and found an excellent selection on the floor that we could see, touch, and feel. We were also greeted by a sales person who was knowledgeable, personable, listened to what we were saying, and not at all pushy. We felt that the prices were fair considering the quality that we insisted upon.

Kate (our sales person) did a great job giving us the proper information based on our needs. Very disappointing this was the first store that would not offer, or even entertain, a military discount. Last time our sales person gave us free delivery when working with Steinhsfels. Kate would not do anything for us. If my wife didnt like what she picked out we probably would have done our business elsewhere. We will definitely will explore other stores first before coming back here. My wife does love the couch she picked out.

Found everything I wanted fairly quickly, delivery day is convenient. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. Would gladly come back.Edit: okay, so I gotta update this after delivery of everything. Im actually really disappointed. The first products were delivered quickly and everything was great, one thing was delayed, thats all fine. When it was delivered it was clearly a used product with plastic bits stuck on with glue and damaged parts. I contacted customer service to rectify this, they insisted it was a new product because it was from the warehouse. I guess new products have things adhered to them in a haphazard manner? After a couple days back and forth theyre sending a new product, which is good... But they refuse to admit they sent me a used product. I dont think Ill be doing any further business with them in the future if they lack the ability to be honest.All in all, not worth the cost of the pieces they offer.

Many of the products are of good quality and competitively priced. But I hate going in to the store. The salespeople are so annoying. They follow you around like a predator tracking its prey.

Nice selection, decent prices, with helpful and courteous staff.Edit; bought a bed. Were late two months on expected delivery date, which is fine, chalk it up to Covid. Paid for delivery and installation because I couldn’t get off work. They proceeded to break a major piece during installation. Promised replacement and finish installation shortly. Another 1.5 months later they get part. Install said part incorrectly, bed frame is not matched up and the screws are either completely stripped or missing. They offered to send someone out a third time. I refused. They will offer no more. Looks like Penny Mustard for now on.

Worst place to buy furniture of any type. Bought a mattress from here and all the salesman cared about was making the sale the very day we went. Felt like I was dealing with a car salesman. I asked about if a Memorial Day sale would occur which was only 2-3 weeks from when we went to purchase and he straight up said no, everything for this specific brand is always the same. Lo and behold its a week before Memorial Day and theres a sale. So they advertise that you can price match other competitors but thats completely false they get away from not allowing price matches because they offer their own terrible $200 Steinhafels cash with the mattresses. This credit cant be used on anything worth value. Just sheets and pillows which I dont need. I use the same pillow Im always comfortable with and I have sheets. Not allowed to use it on a foundation either. They pretty much force you to buy BedGear brand stuff by over selling on the quality of these over priced sheets. If anything is under the $200 then you cant use the credit. Anyways the mattress I purchased here was cheaper at Mattress Firm and the manager working at this Steinhafels went through everything he could to save him and the business their $100 that it was cheaper at a competitor. I made my statement very clearly, he says he spoke to the merchandising team about it but I know he didnt. He was determined to not price match a competitor. Its okay Ill NEVER purchase a single thing from this business. The manager here even told me Steinhafels games their customers. This was legit his words. Apparently every furniture store has their own way to game their customers so we as customers get played by a business. What a terrible way to run a business, right? He said the $200 credit is Steinhafels way to game the system and each business has their own way to game it. Since I was forced to buy this uncomfortable and non-refundable mattress protector and it was a part of the deal they cant price match? How does that make any sense? I just want a price match of the mattress. One place has it for $100 less. Thats it just the mattress should be price matched nothing else that I purchased should be apart of that but I guess thats the way Steinhafels (in the managers words) games the system. Anyways this whole experience has me never wanting to buy a single thing from them. Im purchasing a new house soon and I wont spend a single cent here. Glad this place saved themselves that $100 on a price match because the $100 they saved is definitely more important than me wasting hundreds to thousands on other furniture in the future. The furniture for my new house is coming from somewhere else thats 100% for sure. If anyone was to ever ask me to recommend a store its definitely not Steinhafels. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, you wont regret it. Dont get played by these people who themselves say they game the system to play customers like you or me. If you think Im over exaggerating, I really wish I was. All this over $100, what a joke of a business. They should keep that $100 because they definitely need it more than I do.Edit: What this “owner” is referring to is a price change that Steinhafels themselves had. In no way is the mattress alone cheaper at Steinhafels than Mattress Firm. Price at Mattress Firm = $2,099. Price at Steinhafels = $2,199. It’s really not hard to do the math. I don’t care about this “$200 Steinhafels cash” that is involved. If I could return this terrible mattress protector I would in a heart beat but that’s how your business “games the system” (words of the manager). It’s cheaper at Mattress Firm so don’t lie. It’s well known that this is how Steinhafels gets out of a “price match”. All I was asking is a mattress price match to a mattress price match. Has nothing to do with the mattress protector I also spent money on. If you really wanna look at “apples to apples” if I bought everything Purple brand like the sheets, 2 pillows and the mattress protector it’s definitely cheaper at Mattress Firm. This is how you lose customers

Bought a Tempur Pedic firm queen mattress from Greenfield location today. I told my salesperson, Lindsay, I wanted a quality firm mattress. I was leary of a soft topping or a memory foam mattress. Lindsay showed me three manufacturers, provided a pillow with sanitary cover and made me feel quite at home laying for 10 minutes on each example bed. I had a $1000.00 Guardian coupon for a living room that I purchased 5 years ago. I got a great deal! Ask for Lindsay when you shop Steinhfels in Greenfield.
Customers service was on point. Friendly helpful, courteous. Taylors Hayes was very patient with us, informative, polite and helpful. When you shop there ask for Taylor Hayes. I definitely will be back to purchase my table set. Loved, loved, love the different variety to choose from and display layout.

The show room and the representative that I was dealing with was great, but the delivery was horrible. I attend therapy next door to Steinhafels. I always walk by to look at there show room. I wanted to buy furniture from there establishment. There products seemed great. My overall experience was not a great one. Here’s my story.I purchased my sofa in person. Spoke to the sales representative we agreed that I did not need to pay for assembling when there was only four legs to screw in. I was told my product would be delivered. When the product arrived it was placed outside in the rain on the grass before you reached the porch.I am disabled and walked into a store location with a cane. Why would I order for my sofa to be placed outside and I have a back brace and cane. Delivery should have been explained in detail, but not once did anyone state nor did I see documentation that stated furniture will be placed outside on the lawn.I have never in my life received furniture from a furniture retailer where my items were not placed in my home, but outside on the grass.The driver said I didn’t pay for my item to be placed in my home. Steinhafels is completely unprofessional. I am sharing my Experience so that this does not happen to another individual like or unlike my physical situation, and or the elderly. Imagine scrambling to find a mover within short notice while your furniture is getting rained on. And the only thing you can do is sit there and watch your leather sofa being possibly destroyed before you had the chance to sit on it.I would never shop here again. Steinhafels are not handicapped or a disability friendly facility. Steinhafels does not accommodate the likes of everyone. Maybe I should of paid 120.00 dollars to screw in my four legs on my sofa, and I wouldn’t of had this issue.

All the Steinhafel stores are clean and well stocked. Most of the sales people are willing to give you space and let you browse if that is what you want to do. On my recent trip there my sales person was Matt. I knew what I was looking for which made his job a little easier and he didnt try to pressure me into looking at more expensive pieces. He was helpful in assisting me with finding just the right table to go with my chair purchase. Thanks
Customer service was great! I was greeted right away and found a mattress of choice in a matter of 30 minutes. Service rep was able to select a number of different mattresses within my price range and desired criteria. I was also lucky to have gotten my mattress on a sale and they were able to ship it to my apartment. Overall, staff was speedy, knowledgeable, and friendly!

Not sure why my roommate and I had ended up at the west Allis location, but nonetheless I’m glad we did. Had zero intention of purchasing a couch that day, but the second we walked in Ashley K was awesome. We told her a very vague idea of what we wanted and our dimensions of the room. She immediately showed off 3 couches, all fitting exactly what we were looking for. We got to test them out and Ashley gave us time to confer with each other. We ended up making a purchase that day. There was some struggle getting the payment to go through but it was mainly on the bank and not at all steinhafels issue but nonetheless, Ashley was extremely patient with all of it. The couch arrived last week and it is amazing. Delivery was super smooth and the couch fits wonderfully. Such an amazing experience and I wouldn’t change any of it. Thank you Ashley and the two delivery guys! (Sorry I didn’t get your names)
So irritated. They wanted to charge us an extra delivery fee for an item that is on their floor but apparently on backorder until 7/5. We spend about an hour in the store, order and pay for with personal check card almost 7 grand worth of furniture for them to tell us that we would have to pay an extra $50.delivery fee (on top of the $200 we are already paying) because the recliner is on backorder and we did not want to wait until 7/5 for the rest of our furniture ( the note of being out of stock should have popped up on the screen way before checkout) First of all if an item is on backorder that long put a sign on it or better yet take it off the floor until back in stock. Why should the customer have to pay that fee??? Worse part is the manager would not budge and says it is their policy, I get that and it would be understandable if we wanted the items delivered on different days, they are the ones inconveniencing us. What happened to the great customer service???? On a positive note Antonio our sales person was very apologetic, manager not so much. We cancled our order and left.

I am not happy with Steinhafels at all. In May, my wife and I went into the Greenfield location. We ordered a chair and a love seat recliner. The love seat recliner is motorized and has electronic controls. After waiting over a month to get the furniture, we got finally got it yesterday. I did some yard work and four hours later, I sat in the recliner, put up the foot rest, heard a loud pop, and realized that the half I was sitting on died. The thing is four hours old and is now useless. I called Steinhafels and was given a song and dance about having to wait for the truck to return, get the replacement scheduled, do this and that, take care of whatever. My thought: Steinhafels delivered a piece of junk and I have to wait for them to get their act together. /My wife called today. She was first told that the EARLIEST they could get our replacement out to us was MID-AUGUST or a month out. Again, why do I have to wait my turn when Steinhafels did not finish my turn. My wife finally got them to get to us earlier, but we have to wait a week to get the replacement. This is still unacceptable. They have the replacement IN STOCK. We should be getting it the next day, but they CANNOT DO THAT. I no longer feel that Steinhafels cares about me as a customer. They just want my money and could care less if I was happy with their product. This will be the last thing I ever buy from Steinhafels. Lawn chairs would be better than this. The customer service is lousy. The excuses were horrible. If I could give a lower rating I would.

I think the price was fair for the quality of the piece I chose. Truth be known, I’d appreciate free shipping yet I prefer to buy quality furniture and pay for delivery rather than purchase less than quality and get free shipping, I selected my furniture without suggestions or pressure; a good experience.
