I just picked up a custom cupcake order from the bakery and they are absolutely gorgeous, I just have to leave a review. They smell incredible and I’m looking forward to my son‘s birthday tomorrow to see how excited the teenagers about them! Not only are they beautiful but they were able to accommodate our allergies and have many times in the past with other delicious desserts. I love Green Fields Market, I’ve been a member for a very long time, and I’m grateful that even with so many changes they have remained a business I can count on when I have a special occasion

The only ares of the market Ive been to is the bakery and sandwich shop. I found everything to my liking huge portions and cheerful staff. The one thing Ive found is it more pricey than a regular supermarket

Great sandwich. They had gluten free bread! Lettuce and tomato was fresh, yummy bacon. Lots of good produce.

I always enjoy coming here. I love the prepared foods. A great place to grab a little lunch and sit outside.

Good store. Slightly high prices for the appearance of organic. But quality products for sure and the type of selection you dont get at a normal grocery store. The staff seems to always be friendly which I cant say for most grocery stores.

They still use single use plastic for a lot of their grab and go food when they could easily use a biodegradable product.

Fantastic, small community co-op with relatively affordable prices for organic and local options (compared to other coops, but obviously going to be more expensive than your local big box stores). Definitely worth the price. Staff is caring and helpful.Has small shopping carts, not the kind you can put a baby or carseat in. Aisles are wide enough for a stroller, though.Has a wonderful selection of prepared foods they can be eaten as is or taken home to heat up. Great baked goods, too!I was nervous about the parking, because its downtown Greenfield, but going early in the morning around 9am on a weekday, I was able to easily find a spot right in front of the store. Remember to bring change for the meter. There are a couple of side streets with metered parking nearby as well.

First place I visited after moving here on Thursday. Glad theres a co-op in town, even more excited that theyre unionized. Excellent selection of deli and bakery items, some fresh dairy and meat, bulk, packaged dry foods, brilliant produce selection. Right in the heart of downtown. Perfect for a quick grabngo lunch, or finding fresh ingredients for a big meal.

Lovely local market. Wide variety of offerings. Helpful staff. Amazing choice of locally made products. Many bulk and fill your own offerings for less waste.

Over priced food, dont get the buffalo chicken wrap. Unless you really like your bathroom.

They have worked very hard with improving their space and the selection and I understand the prices go up to make a little profit and stay in business even though a lot of things a little bit too pricey for me, I have a sweet affection for cooperatives that improve our community a lot just by existing,, and the holistic options that they offer business wise community wise and food wise, but there needs to be worked on with the management with their employees with improving customer relations communication,

The market unfortunately is over priced, and the seating is nice outside except for the homeless and other people walking by and hanging out by the alley

Awesome spot for fresh food and organic products. The selection is quite impressive. Theyve got everything from produce to prepared foods to sandwiches and even pet food. Theres even a section where you can bottle your own herbs and spices. Definitely a must see! Try this place out if youre in the area.

Been coming here since I was a small child, this is my favorite store on earth I think. Always beautiful produce. The pre made meals and foods are incredible. The peanut butter cookies are LITERALLY perhaps the best in the world. Years before the kombucha kick off this was the spot I would pick it up. I love y’all, and living out of state now, I miss having such an uplifting, community driven place nearby. When I’m in town I always visit, please Kew the PB cookies in stock for me.

The staff is friendly and compassionate, and more of those who shop there are more cognizant of the need for social distancing and appropriate use of a mask than shoppers at other places. Of course its possible that now that Ive posted this, some bored troll might head out there... but so far it has just been a pleasant place to shop for healthier and more ethically sourced supplies. They even have programs to make their groceries more affordable.

Ok food. Kinda expensive

I didnt five stars but I wanted to get their falafel sandwich and it had mayonnaise in it which is never ever in a falafel sandwich. They should really take the mail out and put some tahini sauce in it which at least 99% of the rest of the country in the world do.

We are members of this co-op and they have made several excellent adjustments through the time of the pandemic. High quality food and other items you can go in-store or order for curbside pickup.

I found everybody was friendly and helpful and has a great selection of vegetables and fruit.

I enjoy being around so many of the people working at the Greenfield Co-op. I cannot name names; but, you know if you are friendly, helpful, kind, affable, or grouchy and never smile (acting like it is an interruption to have to check out customers in your line.) I do, however, love the variety of food the Co-op has: I wish there was more gluten-free options. Maybe when the country returns to normal, more options will be available.

A small container of naked tofu costs nearly $6??? REALLY? I went in for four rather basic items and they only had one. And why is it no one ever seems to move out of your way there??? Its the only store I go to where people are consistently in my way and then dont budge.

Green Fields Market is one of the best things about Greenfield. Whole and natural foods, bulk goods, fresh produce, local products, and protein sources both animal and vegetable. Theres a deli counter and a good selection of prepared foods as well as daily soups and other specials. Oh yeah - and sweet, yummy baked goods.The place is spacious and bright and located prominently on the main drag downtown. Street parking right in front and its not hard to nab a spot most times.

They have a great selection for their size, and they really prioritize local, organic and sustainable producers. Only once in 5 years of shopping here have they not had an item on my list (jarred cherries for cocktails- not an important item!) I’m always happy to see the names of local farms I know on the meat and veg shelves. And best of all— I can always find an organic option for something here that is harder to find elsewhere in organic. E.g I only eat organic grains / bread, and one day was DELIGHTED to discover that they had organic bagels! I hadn’t had a bagel in *years* and the OG bagels were large and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sandwiches and prepared foods are great. I saw that some others say they’ve bought spoiled items here but I’ve been shopping here for at least 5 years regularly including meat and dairy and that has never *once* happened to me. Anyway I really can’t say enough about GFM, it’s a great place.

Small local cooperatives grocery with friendly and helpful staff. Visitors are welcome. Emphasis on local products. Bakery and deli selections very tasty and fresh. Prices seem a bit high for offerings. Is that really necessary?

The storied food co-op of Greenfield carries all kinds of delicious local produce and organic staples. The deli and bakery are unmatched in town, and theres a cozy space tucked above the sales floor where you can space out with a coffee from local roasters. Everything a co-op should be!

Thank God for Green Fields Market. For decades this place has been a hub for local and organic foods for the whole area. I often run into friends and acquaintances there (and I dont even shop there that often), and the Market is constantly running groups, workshops and seminars for their members and for the general public. And their sandwiches, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian are *fantastic*. They also make great soup, and their baked goods are delicious, from bread to bear claws to death by chocolate cake. Its also nice to shop at a place where the people who are helping you have a personal involvement in the business. Everyone who works there is friendly, and I have never had a negative interactive with someone on staff. And if youre new to the Market, check out the big bulletin board they have near the back exit -- youll find postings about everything from dance lessons and spiritual gatherings to apartment listings.Note: after reading the other reviews, it is worth adding that, yes, shopping at Green Fields Market is expensive, and lunch there can be too. If youre looking for a good deal, I recommend the soup.Also, I forgot to mention that there is a lot of seating, both in front of the lunch bar area next to the front windows and up on a balcony in the back of the Market. In nice weather, you can sit outside. It can be a nice alternative to going to one of the cafes in town if youre just looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee and read, or hang out.

Its always great to shop here they carry the greatest of things and they also have the most excellent produce. Grabbing lunch is great also I love them...

Great whole foods market with a wide selection of healthy food, much of which is sourced from local farms and suppliers. They have a bakery with excellent pastries and cakes. I also love the huge selection of natural herbs which you can self serve into bags to be weighed at the counter. A little unnerving though how homeless drug addicts hang around this business like a dark cloud, just waiting for people to walk bye to beg for money or a cigarette. The bathroom here is a depository for their used heroin needles.

Lots of good things and people

This has been a major storefront in the downtown area for a very long time and it not only adds to the image of co-operation and local agriculture, but is a great place to get some extremely healthy, extremely organic fruits and vegetables. The atmosphere is always friendly and they have a wonderful little eat in place with seats in the window to look out on our great downtown whilst you partake in one of their great many choices for a quick snack or even something more hearty to eat. There is also another level up just a few stairs to sit and eat and look out over the store itself, this area has more seating and is quite comfortable as well.No matter when you choose to stop in youll be glad you did.

The food selection is great. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality. The only issue I have is that the employees are often rude and unprofessional. They also lack skill in what they do and have little to no answers for anyone with a question. The store has an uppity self righteous sense to it that is quite unappealing. Luckily, the food quality is good enough to keep me returning.

Great market for downtown! The deli sandwiches are fantastic! Fresh ingredients and the bread selection is awesome! Getting hungry thinking about it! Sometimes a little bit of a wait around lunchtime!

Best co-op around. Mochi bar is a plus, good cafe, great selection of produce, and enough product in the store to fill your needs without having to go to a larger grocery store. Only thing could be improved is the wait at the register due to its popularity.

A locals version of Whole Foods and Sprouts. We were just visiting. It would be a place to buy specialty items. I wouldnt go my weekly food shopping there.

Wouldnt shop here for groceries as its overpriced compared to Whole Foods or Trader Joes when it comes to natural organic food. The catch is its local, which doesnt really mean much when it comes to the bottom line: price. HOWEVER, the deli food is pretty good and their coffee is generally excellent. The pricey lunch bar has a good selection and its worth trying. Their soups are sometimes of the everything except the kitchen sink variety but usually quite good. With few choices in town, its worth going to for a healthy lunch.

My favorite place to go food shopping. The selection is all healthy, produce fresh and great variety, the staff and working members [you dont have to be a member to shop there] are all SO friendly and helpful, AND I can get my lunch from the salad and hot bars.

This is a nice little grocery store and they sell a lot of Organic fruits,vegetables,hard to find items that you might not be able to find in bigger food chains like Big Y or Stop in Shop. They can be a little bit pricey for my taste. If your wanting to eat healthy then this is your store. If your into the Vegan or a Vegetarian Im sure youll find something you like here. They have a good variety of cold food too and the take SNAPS. If you wish to become a member I say check that out too.

Nice atmosphere, though sometimes their baked goods can be hit or miss. They usually have a pretty good hot bar. They also have these pesto rolls that they make, they’re incredible.

Excellent variety of whole foods and local produce. Fresh hot soup and other made-to-order meals for a quick bite.

Great market. I buy natural health products. Which are extremely helpful 😊 and work well. Their staff are knowledgeable and will find what you need.

Everyone beware. I was just using my Bob’s Red Mill gluten free flour that I got from the bulk bin and there was a LIVE worm in it. I’m disgusted. I wouldn’t recommend this store.

Fantastic place for a healthy lunch with a well-stocked salad bar, fresh breads, deli sandwiches and especially the wonderful soups. I have a lot of food allergies and really appreciate that the soup area includes full list of the ingredients for each soup. That makes my life so much easier and less itchy. Greenfields Market also has tons of amazing groceries hard to find in conventional grocery stores. I also love that all the produce is organic, no detective work involved. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, clean store, fresh produce and hot, fresh delicious prepared food bins are immaculately maintained. Prices are on the higher side but fair for what youre getting all around. Ive never seen a market so well kept. Its so pleasant and an absolute pleasure to eat here! I go enjoy lunch and an asiago cheese bagel almost every day.

The cashier who assisted us was kind, attentive and very helpful even though we were unable to find what we were looking for. The other customers however, with the exception of a charming young toddler and his mother, were rude and seemed to lack in the basics of human decency.

Great variety of foods for a small coop, including hot bar. This is a small town so prices are high and hot food is not always 5/5 for freshness but considering location it is a great spot.

Greenfields Market is a great go to for organic and local groceries. Lots of hippies and good vibes from the staff. People complain that its pricey but they do offer a decent discount if you work there a few hours a month. Also the loose leaf tea is very reasonably priced especially compared to somewhere like Dobra Tea for example in Northampton.

Very busy store but well stocked with healthy items. Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful.

Their prepared food is really good.
