I loved our stop to Shoeless Brewing. The brewmaster, Ken, was an excellent host and a clear expert on all facets of beer. He was happy to offer a tasting to me and my wife, along with pointing out other truly local brewers to visit while in town. The beer itself was fantastic and varied. Great place! Looking for advice and supplies to make muscadine wine and I definitely went to the right place. Owners, Ken and Lorraine gave me personalized advice specific to what I needed including a recipe. Had a craft beer while there and it was really good. Several selections of IPAs and numerous other beers. Heard them discussing beer brewing with customers and it was obvious they they know brewing and can help you in making specific beers with recipes and all the necessary ingredients.

Very friendly owners. Came out and welcomed us. Flight selection was good, all small batch stuff. Coffee chocolate peanut butter stout was awesome although flight size was the perfect amount. Prices on home brew equipment looked reasonable. I am adding this as a stop for supplies and a beer.

Needed some last minute supplies for an impromptu cider I decided to start. I usually plan well Im advance and order everything I need. Ill be doing things differently in the future. The staff was helpful and friendly, the selection of materials was quite good and priced less to boot!Planning on taking my wife by soon to pick up some wine making supplies.

Absolutely love this place. They also brew beer under the name Shoeless Brewing Company. In my opinion their beers are the best in Greenville. Especially the Z series which is a New England IPA. We found quite a few beers here that were really good. These folks know how to brew and if youre in the area you need to check this place out. The owners are very friendly and treat you like family. Their dogs Sam and Max are sweet and greet you at the door. Warning...they look like little black pigs lol. If we come back to the area we will be sure to return!!!!

Has everything you could ever need for brewing. The equipment selection is a little limited but they have all the stuff you would need. Ingredient selection is great. Service is also great. They dont judge you if youre new at brewing which is great. They also have samples of various home brews that you can try which is always fun.

Service is the absolute best! I drive about 45mins to shop with these guys and I missed their closing time by 10 minutes. Ken was still in the parking lot and reopened the shop to fill my grain bill order. Even took a few minutes to help me work out a problem with my last brew. These guys are second to none!

Ken, the proprieter brews a variety of beers, and will answer all your questions about beer. We sampled eight beers, and all were good, some were outstanding. Greenville appears in beer magazines as a vacation destination. In such a drinkers landscape, it is easy to overlook breweries that may not be as big or flashy as some of the larger ones.I thought Id discovered a new brewery when I found Shoeless Brewing a few months back, and was shocked to learn theyd been here for years. You walk into a small, quaint establishment, entering into one of the best appointed and stocked home-brew stores Ive ever found across multiple states. And to the left you enter a taproom so quaint and cozy you could be at your best friends place - you know, the one who renovated his living room to look like a bar.What should you have? Im not going to tell you - because, and I am betting my entire Local Guide status on this statement, it doesnt matter. Every selection at Shoeless is a love story of an experienced brewer, their passion for the craft, and an obvious objective for what they wanted with that particular batch. I never expected to find a selection in my top 3 for a IPA, Porter, Dunkelweissen, and Wit in one brewery, let alone one in my home town in such a small format.The staff at Shoeless are here because they love what they do, and you are reminded with rhis with every sip. Im not going to tell you what to get because you should try it all. Come in, talk to them, pet the dogs, have a pint, and discover the greater Greenville areas best kept beer jewel.
