My family and I stopped in for a sweet treat and were welcomed by friendly staff. They had plenty of choices including vegan options which was awesome. We purchased a few cupcakes and a cookie sandwich and all of them them had great flavor. Prices are pretty high for a cupcake, but I guess that’s usual for a boutique cupcake store.

Although the cupcake selection was small the cupcakes themselves were AMAZING. If youre looking to sit and eat/chat with a friend there is neither inside or outdoor setting. We ended up having to go to Starbucks

This little place is amazing. They will make you forget you’re on a diet. And for the die hard dieters they have amazing tasting keto cupcakes. Everything is made fresh daily so if you wait too long to go, you might miss their incredible chocolate chip cookie sandwiches or double chocolate chip cupcakes. Don’t let me forget fruity pebbles cupcake. Amazing is an understatement. Did I mention they love doing catering and I while they don’t specialize in extravagant cakes, I’m getting ours here!!!!

This little bakery is wonderful. Before finding it, I had tried twice in as many days to get some kind of vegan baked good. Both times they were horrifying and loaded with weird things like alternative sweeteners/thickeners. The vegan cupcakes I got here tasted like well-made, normal cupcakes. I so appreciate someone putting in the time and effort to do it correctly and won’t go anywhere else again.

I put an online order for a take-out this morning for two dozen mini cupcakes and one normal size cupcake for my sons 11th birthday. I waited a little bit so she could finish making the minis but I didnt mind at all since I waited till last min to order them and I expected it. The cupcakes came out beautiful. Very confused. This used to be Gigi’s cupcakes. Now it’s another name, not wit the Gigi’s franchise anymore but serve basically the same cupcakes. Sad that they do not taste the same. The vanilla icing on what used to be wedding cake, could not be replicated (trust me, I tried). It’s clear they could not either. Unsure why they are still making Gigi’s cupcakes (just not as good as Gigi’s) but using another name and not franchises anymore. I’m all for doing your own thing, but doing someone else’s thing and claiming to be your own, is a wee bit unethical.

When I moved to South Carolina in March, there were a few things that I was upset about and one was that I was moving away from the Gigis Cupcakes. Imagine how thrilled I was to learn that there was a location about 20 minutes from where I was moving to! I was in the area today, so I stopped in and tried the new summer flavor Bahama Mama. Whew that was delicious!

I always love the vibrant selection of cupcakes they have! Its a bit expensive, but I do believe you get a good value for your money. When I was there two days ago, PJ was very amiable and accommodating. He moved the line along quickly, while still being conversational and humorous. I will definitely visit many more times to come! I highly recommend this place!

They can do special orders or just stop by for one or two. Highly recommended for a sweet treat at a reasonable price. I love the sweet potato cupcakes from here so I ordered a cake a cupcakes for my daughters birthday on Christmas Eve. I specifically requested cream cheese icing but got buttercream instead. I called and was told it might not be butter cream as if I was wrong when it was extremely sweet and I don’t like buttercream. I was told I’d get a call back and have yet to hear back. I’m disappointed because o was really looking forward to this.

Gigis Cupcakes are great desserts for the price but this location (Greenville, Sc Pelham Rd) has undersized cupcakes mainly the amount of frosting. I have been to several locations up north and it takes two setting to eat a whole cupcake but here they skimp on the frosting and when I asked about it they say its the same as all the other locations but they are wrong. Even the pictures inside the location are bigger than what they sell.

This review will be about the service not the cupcakes. Though I talked to two people who assured me the cupcakes would be ready the day I ordered by phone, the manager misunderstood and my sister in law didnt get her birthday gift when she went to pick them up. BUT the manager heard my complaint and offered to refund my money AND make free, fresh cupcakes. I insisted I pay at least half price because I think thats only fair. Thank you, Lilly! (Oh, and my sister in law loved them.)

Ordered the raspberry cupcake & the icing lit my taste-buds with excitement! On the flip side, the actual cake part was disgusting. The cake had to have been under-cooked due to its pale & stale look & cake batter taste (it was supposedly white cake). I threw the cake down the garbage disposal but finished the icing. 2 starsOn the other hand, the chocolate salted caramel cake really met my expectations. It kinda revived Gigis for me and one day Ill probably give them another shot. The mixture of chocolate & salted butter cream icing was very delicious! The actual cake was soft, moist and crumby - just how I like it. 4 stars

I was very disappointed in my first time ordering from Gigis. I had previously had them and was impressed by their presentation thats what made me buy them. I changed the icing that comes on them to a preferred and the presentation was plain when asked to add to them what comes on them it seemed it would cause them to much inconvenience to make them how their website presents them. If I just wanted plain cupcakes I could have went to Walmart and spent far less for more.

Do not waste the $$ on the over priced nasty cupcakes! ($3.25 a piece). Cheesecake cupcake, gross! Threw it away! Frosting makes up more than half the cupcake. I took the cupcake out of the box and it actually fell over because it was so top heavy. Wedding cake, tasted uncooked. Frosting was so gross! Princess cupcake batter was ok, kinda like a sponge cake, but tasted artificial. And dont get me started on that nasty frosting again! 2 thumbs down!! One of thee nastiest cupcake shops I have visited. I really wish I could include a pic of this big clump of frosting! Okay..used a ruler, frosting is 2 inches thick on this thing and thick as lard! I travel all over trying out new cupcake/bakery shops. If u want good cheesecake in this area let me suggest Strossners Bakery on Roper Mountain on Greenville.
