Wow. Best breakfast Ive ever had. Its a good sign when in SC that people are missing church to go have breakfast here. I had the omelette with sausage, onions, & cheddar. My goodness, it must have been at least a 3 egg omelette. They have actual home fries as well. Even the toast is great. Not had their lunch or dinner foods yet, but I intend to come back.
We visit this well-run restaurant often, usually enjoying whatever we order. Not being a huge beef fan, I had the BEST hamburger ever one night. Found out the next time I ordered one that it might depend on whos cooking that day. A wide selection of choices, and desserts that look to die for. Unfortunately their calorie count might make that happen, lol. One dessert should serve 2 people. A huge amount of food is served as entries. Be hungry!
I wish I read the google reviews before trying this place. Kinda overpriced…the picture is of the potato skins which I paid 11$ for- literally had NO seasoning, would’ve benefited from even just some salt and pepper, portion was also small. I also got the healthy Greek and it also was lacking in flavor… probably won’t try this place again
Its my favorite place for brunch. I drive about 40min to get here and never regret it. Today I tried the Bayou skillet . It has two farmed eggs potatoes sausage tomatoes peppers mushrooms and grilled chicken ( i dont like mushrooms but It was so good I ate them too 😊 ) . Courtney was our server, she was great. Enough attentive but not much. Everything was timely. From when we arrived, order taken till our order hit the table. I recommend hands down.
My breakfast at Stax Omega was delicious. I ordered the Two by Two. It had two perfect scrambled eggs, two pieces of crisp bacon, two fluffy pancakes with butter and syrup on the side. The coffee was so good. Suzanne our server was so sweet and kept checking on me and filling up my coffee. I will definitely go back and order that again. They have so many other great looking items too that I would like to try.
Large menu wasnt highly impressed. For a local spot this place is really nice. Personally the menu was confusing to follow which made it hard to find something to eat. The food itself was average but overall not bad. The price is where I wasnt to impressed by. The quality of the food didnt match the price we paid. An example of this was $4 black coffee that tasted not like a $4 cup of coffee. However The staff was extremely kind and our waitress was really helpful.
Their food and service is always above average. Their prices are good. And their menu choices are incredible. Its a really good diner experience.
Havent been to stax omega in a long time but great to see the service and food were still stellar. Our server was amazing and she took great care of us. We had the Italian nachos and fried mushrooms both were hot and delicious. Sandwiches for main course were delicious as usual and the cake at the end.. Wow the bakery still does an amazing job. I only wish the hours were longer like they used to be years ago.. Stax was THE place to get the best late night bite. Will be back soon!
One of the best places in Greenville area for breakfast, lunch and dinner with lots of options. If this is your first visit to this diner, then I am pretty sure you will get overwhelmed looking at the 20 page menu.Our server Ashley welcomed us and was helpful with our questions. We ordered,soup of the day( chicken and dumplings soup), Gyros sandwich which comes with seasoned beef and lamb with tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce in a grilled pita and Monte Cristo sandwich which comes with batter dipped challah bread dusted with powdered sugar. All the dishes were tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients.Even on a Saturday afternoon, with almost full capacity, service was quick. The ambiance was very lively and vibrant.I am eager to visit this place again and would definitely like to recommend.

The wait for a table was not too long at all. We git there at 9:30 am and was seated by 9:45. I noted that the server was very professional but had little personality. It didnt take long for her to warm up to us and she was awesomely amazing. All three breakfast plates served at our table were heaping with food and had great flavor. The spicy bloody Marys were so good. Good job Stax Omega.
First time visiting the area. Had to find a place thats not our usual. They have a big menu with lots of options, even moderately healthy ones. Ive been on a diet, so I opted for an egg whites omelet with peppers and onions and swiss. The eggs were big and fluffy. Perfect omelet. Our sever was gracious and as southern and sweet as youd expect. Big dessert counter. So. Go. Enjoy !
We were in Greenville SC and this place was recommended for breakfast! I was thoroughly impressed. The food was Awesome! Serving sizes were HUGE! I had the omelette and was very full. I was too full to even try the crepe. Service was spot on! The server was very knowledgeable! You can not go wrong with anything on the menu! We will be back again!
Walked over from the nearby hotel twice. Dedspite the pandemic, the servie was good and the food was outstanding.
Only negative ... too many choices on the menu.Biggest positive... they have a great, varied menu! Have been here about a half dozen times and never a bad meal, never a bad wait staff, and cashiers seem to really enjoy their customers and respond to kidding with them. Lets make that 6 stars.

The recently remodeled Stax Omega looks wonderful! Unfortunately, they remodeled the prices as well (higher). The food was very good with satisfying portions. The service was good as well but not really good nor stellar. The bottom line for us was one omelette, an order of eggs and bacon (both included potatoes), coffee and juice totaled $33 before tip.
Ok seriously this place is life. We were visiting and ate here for my sisters birthday bfast on her recommendation and it was amazing. I got the Greek platter w grilled chicken, roasted red pepper hummus, Greek salad and tzsiki sauce and it was all perfect an amazing! Waitress was awesome, we had a party of 6 and she was so efficient and friendly. We were able to eat outside right in front of the bakery and had an awesome time. Will absolutely go back when we visit again, oh! Also cheese blintz and chicken lemon and rice soup are also must haves! Breakfast menu has every southern bfast staple with many more choices from greek to American items.
Generally overpriced for the quality of food served. They have very bizarre rules such as refusing to sell Ala Carte items at breakfast unless they are added to a whole entree and setting a minimum price for gift card purchase. Service is hit or miss. Many better places to dine in Greeneville.
So impressed with how quickly we were able to get a table on a Sunday around noon! The food was delicious and we were able to sit outside! Its a bit too pricey in my opinion ($35 including tip for breakfast for 2 with water to drink)
Food was yummy! We stopped in for breakfast, I had the french toast which was good. It was my first time there and I plan on going back. Service was good, I brought cheese cake home for my boyfriend and he really liked it. Cant wait to try dinner.
Amazing customer service!!! I placed an order online and realized I meant to schedule for a later pick up, but ordered for immediate pick up. (Facepalm). I called and told them my mistake, and while they could’ve completely shut me down, they worked with me and were so kind about it. I got a California chicken wrap with sweet potato fries - so delicious. I will definitely come back, if for nothing else than the customer service.
Went with a friend for Breakfast was my first time there, needless to say I will be back again very soon . As silly as it sounds this establishment is truly a hidden jewel cant believe I had never been there before, not only was the food Amazing the portions were very generous and Absolutely Delicious, you are greeted by such friendly and pleasant staff even while it was a full house, the wait staff is very attentive and very helpful with suggestions about the menu. So many great choices it took me a few to decide im sure there are no bad choices!! I highly recommend this fine establishment!!
My breakfast was wonderful, the ham steak, eggs cooked to perfection and the potatoes yummy as well. The service was fabulous and the atmosphere comfortable. The menus that they offer of Greek and Italian food are some thing I look forward to trying on another occasion. The desserts look incredible as well.
Delicious food and friendly wait staff. We had a very large group and we were taken care of quickly and efficiently. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak breakfast and my wife loved their signature pancakes! I would strongly recommend and will happily visit again if I am in the area!
Their prices are too pricey!!! I ordered a Greek skillet with no chicken and substituted andouille sausage and was up-charged $4. I feelLike that should be something that is told to you before being charged to give you an option.
Dinner was delicious. Our server absolutely delightful and well informed with suggestions on what we should try. Im not sure Ive ever seen dessert portions so large anywhere else in my life. Will be going back very soon!

Based on a recommendation, this is one of the places we visited when we first came to the area 1 1/2 years ago. While it was good, it wasnt excellent and I have 4 stars.Now, on our most recent visit, I have to say that the excellent level of managing a constant flow of customers and the food quality appear to have even improved - I am impressed. The food quality was good on every dish we had, service was good. Well take this into our more regular go to list now.
Semi reliable comfort food. Owner loves to grope the staff, and cheat at pool. 20 years ago this might have been the top option in Greenville for brunch or late night, but not anymore. spotty service, menu too big for its own good.
I cant belive I waited so long to write a review. This is the best breakfast in Greenville....Everytime we think about going to eat breakfast we think about Dennys, Ihop, Eggs Grill, etc but we always decide Stax. Prices are similar maybe $2-$5 more....depending on the plate. Please try the skillets, Eggs Benedict and of course the pancakes and french toast.....ohh orange juice is amazing and they even have a rewards/visit program. Enjoy !!!!

We went to Greenville for a concert. Stax was around the corner from our hotel. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned for breakfast. Staff was very friendly...food was awesome!! You can tell that its a favorite of the locals!! We will definitely be back!!

I don’t understand the great reviews here. I love a diner and I’m not hard to please but when a place dubbed a diner serves cold burnt toast and an overpriced dry omelette I just can’t continue to give them business or recommend. The cheese blintzes were excellent but everything else we have tried has been just okay. I wish Greenville had a real 24 hour diner with a unique menu but for now we will stick to the limited bagel shops in town for breakfast. Service here is hit or miss- some staff are friendly but most don’t seem happy.

This was our first visit, since were from our of town. The service was excellent, as was the food. Very large menu of items from which to choose.One of our party had an issue with their order, and the manager comped their item off the bill. Unnecessary, but very highly appreciated.If youre in the area, youre hungry, and youre looking for great service with your meal, then you owe it to yourself to stop in. You will not be disappointed, I promise!

Breakfast is awesome. Omelets and waffles perfect. Greek skillet was good but a little to salty....maybe to much feta but next time I will just say light on the feta.
All five of us really enjoyed eating here! Employees were great and food was fantastic... especially the fries. Too bad we live three hours away! Very nicely decorated as well.
Service was spot on and quick. Food didnt take long to come out, and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Chicken was made like moms cooking. And the dessert? That red velvet was outstanding! I would definitely recommend
100% 5 Star Breakfast! Our first time at this diner and we were very impressed with the best breakfast! Eggs perfectly cooked to specifications and the southern grits were excellent! I was also impressed with the corn beef hash- flavorful and fresh. Everything was hot and delicious!
The food was great - fresh and flavorful - and our server was so helpful in terms of answering all our questions. She took care if us in an efficient manner without hovering or making us feel rushed. My daughter is a vegetarian and the kitchen was able to meet her needs by changing a couple of items. We ordered the Italian nachos, which were light and delicious, and they served the Italian sausage on the side. So accommodating. Even though it was Mothers Day, we were able to be seated in less than the 55 minutes wait we were told. Covid measures were evident throughout the restaurant, including some tables being unavailable. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.
I was at a 50/50 with this place husband and I dined in for Dinner Friday 7/23; and lunch Saturday 7/24PROS- Friendly service Quick food- our server friday was Calee & our server Saturday was Tiara- both super great!! Polite and courteous!CONS- We both got rib eyes both were bland lack of flavor on Ribeye super thin steak- season veggies were brown and looked microwaved $24 each- So we went back the next day Got the bacon cheeseburger very dry and thin menu says never frozen- which made me feel I was going to get a hand patted plump juicy burger... ehhh not so much! So overall it was a flop! Friday $70+tip Saturday $60+tip now the mozzarella sticks & onion rings are good! Wish they had onion ring sauce honey mustard its served with ehhh not so much-
Would be 5 stars except for our check out experience. Service = great. Food = delicious. Then we went to pay our bill. We walked up to the registers and after waiting behind 5 people, my 80 year old mother in law walked up to pay. As she held out her check, she was asked to wait so Susan could check out a gentleman who had been waiting a while. We actually walked up at the same time, we just chose different lines at the register to pay. My 80 year old mother in law was asked to wait for each person in their party of 25, each person paying separately. Finally after 3 people paid in Susans line, a nice young man asked my mother in law to come around to the register the party of 25 should have gone to. 5 stars if not for Susan telling an elderly woman to wait to pay a single bill for a party of people who were all at least 40 years younger and paying separately.
Loved this place!! Very friendly staff (our waitress was the sweetest), great meal, and the bread to start it off was some of the best bread I’ve had! Got dessert to go and the slices of cake were HUGE!
OMG! They deserve 5 more stars for the friendly staff. There is a floor manager that is scooping the dynamics of the tables to insure everyone gets seated quickly. The line was out the door but we were seated on BOTH days in less than 15 minutes. The food came out quick, hot, and fresh. Did I mention the fresh squeezed juices? I had the Greek skillet the first day and the an omelette on the second day. My husband is a picky eater and he said he had dreams about how delicious the food was . Dont miss an opportunity to experience STAX!
Very accommodating for a large group. Thought they were a little pricey until I saw the plates come out - good quality, tasty food and lots of it. Had two different meals here while in town (which were really almost like two and a half or three with the leftovers) with family. Avocado Toast Special and then the BLTA Croissant. Both were excellent, value is there.

This review is not about the food. I am a rather frequent customer. Today, I experienced something hurtful. My check number was 63 on 8/12/2021 if Stax wants to see who this employee was. Last time we were there the loyalty program was not working or something and I wanted to make sure we got credit for that receipt. She told me she entered in all the information after that day. Ok....not feeling so sure she entered ours, but ok. I took her word for it. Then she put a receipt on the counter for me to sign for todays check, and there was literally NO signature area, so Im looking around at the keypad to see if I need to sign that or what... I said where?....she said to sign the receipt. But I was missing where on the receipt to sign it. The receipt has no official signature line. I knew she was agitated and had something better to do than be kind doing the job she is getting paid to do. I asked her where to sign. She said anywhere. So I signed it in a blank area of the receipt. Unbeknownst to me, she was rolling her eyes. Well, isnt that nice customer service? My daughters witnessed your employee rolling her eyes at me/about me. Honestly, this is not the first time we have experienced bad customer service when we check out. Something needs to be done to make the cash register girls cheerful. Kind! Maybe a raise or something? Whatever it takes, because after a good meal, it leaves a SOUR TASTE IN ONES MOUTH!
Yesterday was the first time I visited. It was a good experience from the beginning. Place was packed. My waitress was Valerie. Great waitress with great personality. Her smile was unforgettable. Breakfast Food was good and they really tried hard. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere which was nice because of Valerie and other servers who tried to keep a sweet positive attitude. 😊
We have been going to this Omega for 28 years since we moved here. On Father’s Day my husband and I decided to go there since the food is always good. This time it wasn’t. We got the steak special, baked potato, and mixed vegetables for $17.99. It said it had marbling. It wasn’t marbling it was fat. I had two pieces of actual edible meat about the size of a half dollar. When we told the manager she said it was marbling and refused to use the word fat. All she had to say was sorry and we should have ordered the rib-eye, which was $10 more. No compensation at all. We were so disappointed. It wasn’t one steak. but two. Can’t believe they offered this on Father’s Day, not that it should ever be offered anytime. Just FYI the vegetables seasoning is not good either.
So much on the menu! We all ate different meals. Shared the fried mushrooms. We all were very pleased with the taste and amount of food on our plates. We had to wait for about 35 minutes but well worth it. Good service and good food. What else? Oh yeah, the diner was crowded but clean and so were the restrooms. Next time we are in the area, we will dine at Stax Omega again.

My daughter and her husband stopped in for breakfast. Since they are on a special diet they asked to have a few extra egg whites added to their egg white omlets. They also ordered 1 order of French toast.. The waitress wasnt in a very good mood and she told them both that there would be a $2 upCharge for the extra egg whites . When they asked for their check they were in SHOCK $75.00 SERIOUS FOR BREAKFAST! I would highly recommend a steak dinner at a nice restaurant for this price. Please share this with others and tell them not to eat here.

Consistently friendly service, excellent food selections for most every taste.. vegetarian selections are very limited as they removed falafel from menu.. expect $10-12/entree but you will not leave hungry
They have a very large menu- like 40 pages long online. They have plenty of selection but it’s not very good food. It’s basically like a more upscaled “the Clock” restaurant, or any other meat and three place with some extra stuff. Very all over the place with the menu, something for every mood.BUTTTTT! The desserts are what bring you in their doors. The cakes are so good it’s become a family tradition in my family that any time someone has a baby you get a slice of carrot cake everyday you are in the hospital 🤤😅❤️❤️ WORTH IT.4 stars for the cake2 stars for the food
Stopped by for brunch and the server was inattentive and made our table feel burdensome for asking simple questions about the menu. Took forever to get any service. I am from out of state and come to Greenville for medical specialists and we came specifically for the good bakery reviews.We ordered two coffees and a single slice of peanut butter cake and it was atrocious. The coffee was good awful and the cake was disgusting. It tasted like it was straight out of a frozen Walmart box and the Reese’s on top of it was so stale it isn’t even funny. With gratuity, this visit cost $20 and it was worth probably about $4.I am extremely disappointed and waited to speak with someone about this experience, but it took too long and I had an appointment so we had to leave. Next time we will go to Strossners.
My boyfriend and I have been here a few times and have always been happy with the food. Their desserts are a must. Our only complaint was that they are a bit slow.
The Italian nachos were really good! Unusual concept... Anyway, I had the smoked gouda bacon steakhouse burger. It was cooked perfectly but there was no special sauce to compliment the burger, it came with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles....kinda dry and plain. My kids had chicken tenders, they were too tough to chew and swallow. My niece had the Chicken Alfredo. It was a huge portion and she really seemed to enjoy it. The place was clean, wait staff was friendly and the overall experience was pleasant. I only gave it three stars because of the plain burger. Had there been a lil something special to enhance the flavor combinations, it would have been really good. I would still recommend the place.
The food was good nothing to write home about but not bad. I think its just a personal flavor preference. Definitely worth trying at least once. The staff was exceptional.

We were visiting Greenville for Valentines day and decided to stop in for breakfast. This was the tastiest, freshest breakfast I have had in a long time.My wife had the eggs benedict with potatoes and a side of sausage links. This was by far the best eggs benedict we have ever had. The potatoes were very delicious and the links were very good too.I ordered the blueberry pancakes. The blueberry compot was so delicious and good I didnt even use pancake syrup.We did curbside pickup because we are not eating inside restaurants during the pandemic. The process of pickup was extremely easy. When we arrived an employee asked us our name and brought our food out.I was very please with everything and we will definitely be eating here again.
This was my second time eating here. Servers very friendly and on top of the drink refills. My omelette was fluffy and got plenty of grits. My daughter and I agree this is a solid place to eat. Will return, no doubt.
Fabulous place! The Reuben was perfect, as were the chicken tenders. Mashed potatoes are made right there and are wonderful. Our go too place when in Greenville. Best diner around, period!
One of the specific reasons I drive from Charlotte to Greenville for an overnighter with the fam, is breakfast at this establishment. I cant say enough about their quality and portions, with a menu that extensive. Ive always had great service and I ate here often (sometimes 3 times a week) when I traveled this region for work.
Nice comfortable diner with a fantastic menu with lots of choices. Weve only had breakfast there; but many choices. Aslo with a pastry selection. Great service as well.

Breakfast was good. However, the woman who we paid at the register was incredibly rude. She talked down to my uncle who was having a hard time seeing the touch screen and kept staring at him then rolling her eyes. Won’t be back for that reason.
