I was planning on making chicken pizza last night so I Stopped by Rouses to pick up a few items. Purchased a package of chicken breast for the pizza and one of the breast look much older than the other one. Could it be the Rouses is mixing the outdated meats with fresh meat to sell the old outdatedmeats? The texture of the old one is rough and tough. This will be going back to the store. This is really fd up if Rouses is trying to get rid of their outdated products by pushing it off on their customers. What else could it be???? See pic for yourself.

Im just giving this 3 stars relative to other grocery stores. Theres better and worse but rouses is kinda right in the middle. Not a lot of specialty foods but the prepared foods are always running though theyre not as good as some others.This rouses is pretty solid compared to other ones. Good booze section and the lines move pretty quick even on holiday weekends. They provide organic selections on this and that but not much.The store is clean and the employees are helpful. Really I think it could be 4 stores if there was something that made it stands out against any other premium grocery chain. 5 stars if it was just outstanding bc and life changing.

I went to this store yesterday and I got in line to checkout. The cashier by the name of Rosalyn I asked her if she can bag my groceries with brown paper bags and double them.She looked at me and said yes but not many I have to use these plastic bags I have here. She had a very nasty attitude and I asked another guy that was a shift manager and he said yes I can override it and use paper bags for you..IM A CUSTOMER SPENDING MY MONEY AND THIS IS THE TYPE OF SERVICE YOU GET. PLEASE DONT SHOP HERE.

Always hot and there lines are never ending. I prefer the neighborhood Wal-Mart down the street.

Prices are great, cash registers were available, no lines but busy. Amazing! I enjoyed shopping.

The workers there are really polite and helpful.

I havent had any problems there, except some of the high prices, meh what you gonna do about it? lol... One last thing, I did buy some fried chicken there, it looked like the best chicken I had ever seen, picked up a drink, I was like yes I am about to enjoy this...😳... nope... it was horrible. No salt, no seasoning at all. I have never bought food from there ever again.🥺

I love love love Rouses! Everything is always so fresh! The steaks are amazing, their prepped meats are also wonderful. I love the fajita beef!The staff are always so friendly, especially those buggy guys outside. Makes me look forward to going to the grocery store!Fantastic selection and reasonable prices!

Always Cleans, No Loitering, Gretna Police always visible and available which make it a safe place to shop. Courteous employees, wide and quality selection of products and items. A little pricey but you can not place a value on piece of mind and satisfaction when grocery shopping...

Youre ordered way too little onions this week especially since theyre on sale for 99 cent theres more than five people that shop at the store and today there was no onions! You should order accordingly.

I want to say thank you to Alex, an employee at the Gretna location. Alex always meets you with a great BIG smile when you arrive and he always makes sure to tell you “thank you and have a great day” when you leave. A big shout out to cashier Theresa. She is alway eager to help and moves with urgency. If there is a line she will either open another register or move a little faster. She is always smiling and is very professional and friendly. I love supporting my local store!

Rouses was great however the crawfish wasnt they were bland i had to return them. The store clerk stated they taste different everyday.

My shopping experience was great. There is such a large selection of products and ready to eat foods to choose from. Also, the staff is very friendly and happy to help you.

I like their Gretna location a lot. The people who work here are very friendly & helpful. This store reminds me of a Whole Foods a lot. It’s clean & they have a lot of local produce & luxury food items. I really like tier pre made yogurts. Also they have a huge selection of local coffee. Parking is very easy to find here unlike the one on Baronne Street.

They are number 1 on westbank. Good job!!!

Very pleasant trip. The man greeting outside was very friendly. Found everything we needed and like always walked out with things I didnt need.

This is the nicest Rouses we have seen since moving to Louisiana. Sushi station, roast meats, dining area (not open when we shipped there, covid surging again) and but butter grinders.

To me all I can say its a grocery store a little high on its prices but they seem to have everything I need

Whole foods feel without the Whole foods price. The store always very clean and employees are very courteous. Good meat and fruit selection. Lots of pre-made dishes as well.

Seafood Dept. in Marrero would not answer phone. Had to speak to store operator to get someone to answer. When I arrived there were 3 employees in the seafood section.

I ordered a fruit basket and Stephanie provided the best customer service Ive received anywhere since coming back to New Orleans. She put her personal touch on the fruit baskets and mother and grandmother were extremely pleased. Always request Stephanie she is the best.

Great place that offers local favorites and deals on food. Variety of meat cuts are awesome and always great quality. What I like about this store are the use of local vendors for supplies such as vegetables, fruit and jams. If you have a store in your area give them a try for something different and something great. I recommend this place of business.

Their prices are very high for my liking, but they are very friendly and professional. They have great sandwich platters. Their bakery has a great variety 👌 I totally recommend if you can afford.

Clean open space, friendly and helpful employees. The advertised sale prices especially on meat is the best, rain checks available for items not in stock on sale. The managers are very helpful also.

Out of product advertised. Green leafy vegetables are soggy. Employees just blow you off when asked a question.

I always love going to rouses cause there very friendly and know where things are in the store.unlike Walmart they know where nothing is and most of the employees are suppose to be working but are texting on their phones.

I live in Gentilly, but work downtown, so I frequent the Franklin Ave, Carrollton, and Baronne locations. This one I use when I visit my mother on the Westbank. I think this is my favorite of all those stores. Produce and deli are on point, without being packed like some of the other places. Checkout is quick also.

Rouses is great; boiled crawfish along with ur regular groceries. Lines arent that long either and cashiers(4 the most part) are professional attentive and get u on ur way smoothly and quickly

The seafood is so fresh!

I go to a Rouses by my work almost daily for lunch. Sushi is made daily and always taste great, the hot foods are also always tasty, fresh boiled seafood, and salad bar with a very diverse selection of items and dressings. And then, i go to another Rouses closer to home for groceries. Love it!

No crawfish when told there was. Called 15 minutes before and was told available.

Clean store. They had everything we needed including gluten free cream of mushroom soup.

I really enjoy this store for its convenience, selection and prices. The employees are the only thing I have an issue with. Every time I go to this store and Interact with the employees its the same unfriendly interaction. As a customer and person I give common courtesy. A hi how are you? In this store is met with dead silence. Its a great store to get what you need quickly and cheap. If you are looking for a smiling face with your customer service or friendly interaction with the employees you speak to, then this is not the store for you.
