Always great food surprising amount of options for a small place and really friendly people I have autism and I consider this one of my few safe places where I feel comfortable and welcome very friendly owner and shopping here is always stress free even being autistic

How many people say they have a store right in the neighborhood to shop at? I can. Fairfax Market is literally at the end of my block, & Ive been a customer there for 3 years now. If I need to pick up a few items in between big grocery trips, Fairfax is there. They also have amazing waldorf chicken salad- its made fresh, and they sell wonderful ice cream from a local company called BrownDog Creamery. The owner, Mike is a friendly, down to earth guy, & its always nice to see him & chat w/ him. All the guys that work there are friendly. Fairfax provides an excellent service to the Windmill Pointe neighborhood/community and is truly one of the gems of Grosse Pointe Park. Highly recommend.

I drive almost an hour to get a sub from here for years now lol. The service is AMAZING! & the subs. . .oh man. I can’t even describe the taste. Thank you for all that you do and for always being pleasant.

Been getting subs here for the past year when my crew comes up this way. The Jefferson is awesome. Great owner; support your local small businesses! Plus they make it easy by offering great food and grocery selection.

Lived on Lakepointe in the early 70s as a little kid, and rode my bike to the Market every Saturday afterchores for some Lemonheads and a Push-up. If my brother was with me, we would split an Italian sub that remains the best I have ever eaten. Does my heart good to see that whomever owns it now (hope its in the family) is making those memories for new generations. If/when I am ever back, you can be sure I will swing through!

Haven’t been here in a while but I used to come here everyday and get things and I’ve been coming here for about 7 years, the whole time they’ve been very nice people here, some of the best customer service you could ask for.

Great market for good quality foods, and great management as well

Roast beef was chewy and inedible on sandwich, went back in explained my dilemma and ordered a different sandwich. But they lost me as a faithful customer when they charged me for the second sandwich.

Best customer service, fresh produce, cleanest meats, the BEST tiramisu, bomb.com super cheesy pizza, aaand they deliver groceries! Honestly, I love this place and they are the reason we survived this pandemic. What a GEM of a store.

We just moved to the Park and were pleasantly surprised to find the Fairfax market. The staff is friendly and helpful, pizza is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Makes the neighborhood even more wonderful.Great for last minute items and beer.

I love this market! Freshest and best fish you can get, and their meats are amazing as well! Very nice produce selection and super reasonable prices on the organic. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful, just really good people that value their customers and try to provide a nice, quaint local shopping experience. I cant say enough about the quality and service!

I recently shopped here for the first time, and I was very impressed. They greeted me right away and immediately made me feel welcome. Their pricing was surprisingly reasonable, and they have a wicked selection to choose from. This small market packs a big punch. Stop in and see for yourself!

I come to fairfax for their subs, meat, cooked meals, and now their pizza. Its great having a place like Fairfax in the park area. The prices are just as good as any of the other stores in G.P.

Local gem. Check it out if you haven’t been in a while. This used to be a convenience store but is a full grocery/market now. Great selection. Meat and deli is high end. Staff super accommodating.

Fairfax Market is a fantastic local market in west Grosse Pointe Park. Recent updates and new offerings have taken this small town market to the next level. Food and beverage selection is great, and the customer service is top notch. Live in the area and will definitely be back. I even heard they got a pizza oven and will be adding that to their offerings!

Grew up riding my bike here for Topps baseball cards and sour patch kids from Gus and fam. Happy to report that a couple decades on it has evolved and matured under new ownership to now carry an excellent selection of soups, sandwiches, meats, cheese, wine, beer, dinners, snacks, and much in between of the highest choice and quality, and yet still at neighborhood friendly prices. Thank you to the new owners for maintaining the “quality” in our Fairfax “Quality” Market!

Wonderful market in the park. If Mike and Chazz dont have what youre looking for they will specialty order it for you. Great produce and the meat is the best in Grosse Pointe. Chazz aint too bad looking on the eyes neither. Ow ow! Get it Mike.

Was called Nicks back in the 50s. Updated market has outside seating. Support your local market. Plus its cheaper to shop locally for 1-3 items than to drive six miles for a gallon of milk. Excellent soups.

Just told Chase who cuts the meat in back that there was black on the New York strip he just sold me and he said thats just showing the blood has left the area but when I told him that it smelled like rotten meat he changed his tune.Got a call back from the owner, Mike, and he said that he would take of this which is all you can ask for. :)

My husband and I moved to the area in July and we absolutely love this market. Sandwiches are awesome as well as the pizza, but they also have plenty of essentials, local eggs, and fresh ingredients that make weeknight dinners so convenient. Customer service is professional and youre always treated like a neighbor. We come here at least 3 times per week and its always a pleasure.
