They have so many tools & items needed for home repair. This trip I needed bungee cords & a tarp. Ive purchased many items over several years, including 2 sump pump last yr & so happened the extra one I bought for a back up, went in my daughters house one rainy 2 am emergency call to Me! LOL glad I bought the back up pump. LOVE this place its my favorite toy store thanks Harbor Freight !

For the most part the quality of the tools compared to home Depot or menards. Some though, are not the greatest quality. I would suggest you make sure you keep your receipts and you can return any tools that dont hold up Honda regular use.

Upon entering the Harbor Freight Tools parking lot I noticed that it was well paved with ample parking. Inside the store was clean, neat and extremely well organized. I was able to browse the entire store while observing the wide variety of tools they carried. The prices were lower than other chain hardware stores, with a wider variety of items. I noticed a dollar isle and a clearance isle that was a great value for the price.My visit to Harbor Freight Tools was pleasant. I would recommend you visit this place in order to compare prices. I believe that you will be pleasantly surprised.

Have you been to Harbor Freight yet?If not your missing every mans dream of having so many tools and other cool stuff in one place. There is painting equipment, mechanics tools, woodwork equipment, electrical supplies, lots of power hand tools; and all at reasonable prices. Because there no big brand name stuff, I’d suggest adding a warranty to all power tools etc. I did have a belt sander that just stopped after the second use and Harbor Freight replaced it right away.Thank you Harbor Freight

Went in an hour and a half before they closed looming for an engine trying to make my 6 year old son a go kart, I asked if they had any in stock. I believe it was the manager looked like he was counting the drawer while flirting with the young clerk girl, he said no and no one has it in 30 miles, I asked can I order one he said no and that was it, I said thank you and he walked away. He gave me a really rude vibe I don’t know if it was because He might’ve felt I intruded on whatever the conversation was but I will not go back, I under stand they didn’t have it but being polite about it goes a looooong way, thanks for nothing. Don’t go here if you think you might need help or have questions about stuff. Go to Home Depot instead lot more polite.

They do have good prices but I honestly expected much much more from this place. I thought they had a bigger selection but its honestly no different than going to another hardware store. The signage outside hypes it up way too much.

Ive renovated 2 houses using harbor freight tools. Their tile saw has done 4 floors and is still kicking. It has paid for itself 50 times over. Check out their clearance shelf for the best deals.

Workable tools sold cheap. This retail as well as mail order outlet is a great place to visit by anyone who does repairs. Most items are reasonably priced although sometimes the quality is questionable. I have mixed experience here. Some super cheap items on sale werent worth the low price and had to be discarded while others moderately priced ones have proven their worth.

Big variety shows were fully stocked everybody was wearing their mass and everybody was polite

4 star for hard to find tools. But a negitive 5 for quality. All producys here are 1 use tools. Everything is china or even lesser. I still buy here for hard to find tools but I will wait a month from a good store if I dont need an emergency tool. Prices are very cheap but 1 use only. Still a favorite store. I wish they sold only American. They could become a fine store if they wished.

Went in looking for an air compressor hose, on a reel, that retracts. Sara was very helpful with the shopping, the free gift, the hose/reel and couldnt have been nicer. I have a bum knee and she carried it all to the check out counter and then showed me how to access the pertinent coupons on my phone. Ive always shopped here for tools and accessories and Sara just shored up for me all the reasons Ill ever need to continue going back. Great store, very clean and orderly...I really like this place and will definitely be back especially since Sears is going out of business. Excellent!!!

I love, the idea that you can buy the one time tool that you cannot barrow and its cheaper to buy it then rent it? Something Ill go ahead and buy something to uses all the time, but my good tools I buy snap on, my Craftsmens I bought many years ago, or whatever, tool guys know what I am talking about.. I couldnt give less than 1 star because there is no choice. A rude young male store clerk. Very impolite, disrespectful, has deludsions that he is a gift of Harbor Frieghts. Went there last Saturday around 1430hrs and this young Hispanic male was very rude at the check out counter. Reported the matter to the store manager. I told her to give this guy a lesson in good customer service. Makes the company look bad. I will never go back into this store again on Gurnee,IL along Grand Ave. Will not waist my time. Guy should look for another job where he wont have to deal with customers or maybe go back to playing video games in moms basement.

After trying to talk to any live person at Lowes and Home Depot to no avail, I called to Harbor Frieght, got a human viice right away, secured a hold on the tool cabinet I find online(wow! Having something in stock from your website!....take note Depot). I then arrived withing 10 minutes of close, paid, loaded by fork truck and left within 10 minutes of arriving...5 star service.

Decent stuff can be found for not much money, but not everything.

I went in to harbor freight to buy a 29 gallon compressor. I walked around for a little bit dreading the though of being harrassed by the cashier about the extended warranty. To my suprise and great appreciation, phillip asked me if I wanted the extended service plan and I said no thats alright and he gave me my total. I want him to know how much I liked that and hope he is there in the future. The store manager was nice as well. He helped me pick up the beast and put it in the back of my van. Thank you.

The cashier was really nice but the system does not take my coupon and I dont know she cant find me in the system and I am going there for 4years now but she added me in and send me something extra in mail because of my coupon.

Love shopping here! The staff is nice and attentive. One time i almost missed a coupon deal and the cashier told me about it so i got the discount. I feel like a kid in a candy store..my wife hates it. I always come home with a new tool which usually means new project in turn needing more tools. I dont mind. These tools are cheap in price but not in quality. Most of them have lifetime warranty. Cant beat it. Plus if u sighn up for the news letter u always get a coupon that gives you something for free with any purchase. You can literally buy a pack of gum and get something for free. Usually a flash light or somthing like that. But hey..where have you ever been that gives you free stuff all the time so long as u spend there. Idk.. Cheap tools for cheap prices and some better quality tools available usually as prices reflect. Saves you a lot of money if youre a DIY person as well as having some pretty cool stufffor all kinds of different things that you usually dont see in one store all together. As far as for professional use, good enough to get by while saving to get the best! Helpful hint : dont go right after you cash your check LOL!!! Seriously a lot of cool stuff that is tempting I have to put the blinders on when I go to pick something up or make sure the wifey is with me lol
