Very simple process. The area felt secured enough to not worry about my storage. area was also pretty clean.

Bernard has been awesome to work with. He does what he can to make sure I have the best unit for my needs.

Nice people great service!The halls and units are never cleaned. We saw the same white tissue on the floor in our hall from start to finish and that was for several months.

Young Man In Office Was Very Accommodating, Great Personality, Informative, Helpful. Very Rural Location, Was 1st Problem, The Non Disclosure Of The Automatic Insurance Added On, Which Is A Farce And Getting A Dusty Dirty Stoage Unit That Wasnt Clean, Swept Nor Mopped. The Young Man Did Attempt To Sweep It Out But There Was So Much Dirt And Debris On Floor And In The Track Of The Door I Literally Took The Broom And Swept The Unit And Filth Out The Door Myself. Not Happy Renting Filthy Facilities, Bad Enough Its An Outside Unit, Nothings Being Done Far As Cleaning And Sanitizing This Location. Office Is Dusty, Golf Cart Is Dirty Place Needs A Good Cleaning Which On Would Believe Would Be A Natural Occurrence In A Multi Utilized Environment. Only Reason Im Giving 2 Stars Is Due To The Young Mans Customer Service Skills And Persona.

The manager at the Gurnee location has been very helpful to me as I had many questions. He has answered all my questions and is very patient with providing answers that did clarify how CubeSmart works.

Ive rented at this location on several different occasions and have never had a problem. The staff is courteous and professional. Bernard is very friendly and fast at completing the reservation process. Very happy with this storage facility!!

Terrible phone experience with the CubeSmart representative in Waukegan (IL) on Sat. 10/26/2019.She talked incessantly so I had a difficult time communicating with her, and when I requested her name she refused to share it with me.Once that occurred I lost no time in courteously but quickly ending the conversation. I wont prolong a conversation with someone who is so rude as to not let me know who I am speaking with, and I cant imagine how the people at CubeSmart would tolerate someone of her ilk.

Hello my name is Rich heisner I have been renting a unit from the storage facility at Washington Street for years I am very happy and satisfied about my experience with Tammy and Bernard working as a team to help everybody out their facility is very clean and very organized and they do know what they are doing compared to a lot of other places and everything that Ive needed to accomplish they have always been there for my needs their facility is very clean inside and out I was very impressed by the first time that I had walked in there and gotten service and have been very happy ever since along with the other person that first helped me when I got my storage unit named Jennifer know she is at another facility south of here I have no intention of leaving for several years the facility is well up kept and maintained in that they always have a smile on their face and ready to help you whatever your questions and or concerns Maybe I am truly very happy with how professional they are hey do the utmost job at trying to keep the facility in good working conditions in great looking as far as the lawn maintenance the upkeep of the buildings inside and out and everything else in between actually take you to the unit and show you exactly the size of the unit that you bill will be getting in or if you want to look at another size they will happily take you out there also I couldnt be more happier I would recommend this to anybody that needed a facility to store stuff at it is a great location for my house because its only a mile or two down the road if that and I also like the upgrade that they have recently done with the handicap access to the front door they are too fabulous employees and both of them have a lot of knowledge of what they are doing with one another and every customer that comes in it has a question in or concern thank you for reading rich heisner

Tammy and Bernard are wonderful managers. They met all my storage needs and are very professional.

Not a good experience. The manager was helpful at first, however the storage space for my enclosed 7 x 14 trailer turned out to be inaccessible due to the improper parking of a truck/bus in the space next to my assigned space. Therefore, my son, an experienced large vehicle and trailer driver was unable to fit my trailer into the space. The manager told me Id be reimbursed for my payment for the space and he would contact me, however its now been almost a week and I havent heard from him. It seems to be unreasonable to pay for something and receiving nothing for your money.

Staff was very nice and professional. The units were very clean and well maintained. Pricing was very good for the unit I needed. Would highly recommend this location.

Unit was clean, quick, easy.

Units are not climate controlled. My inside unit leaked but they did not fix it. I opened the door and mice were all over. It was so hot and the leaks have covered all my stuff in mold. So much lost, memories and items that cant be replaced. Check your unit. Put essential oils in baggies with cotton balls to keep mice out.

Do not store things here! They can and will increase your monthly bill within months of storage. if you dont make a payment on time, its a $20 fee and they will lock your stuff up without you being able to get your stuff. this place is a scam. look elsewhere for storage.

Had a Great transition from my old storage to Cubesmart, great staff and customer service very relaxed environment and location was perfect. They accomidated me with a cart to make set up much easier and price was perfect for the size storage i got as well. Would recommend this to storage to anyone.

I did the reservation online and manager of the place came up with a different price (about $80 more) that I got in the reservation and told me take it or leave it. Very unprofessional will never go back.

It was a very pleasant atmosphere! Yolanda & Marisol were very forth coming & helpful, when it came to what size unit that I would need & exactly how much it would cost me per month. To asking if they could help me with anything else, even as much as asking if I had ample transportation to get my things there. They didnt miss a beat, they had everything covered. Jen in the office is very friendly and helpful! She makes you feel welcome! The storage facility looks very clean and safe. The only problem is the road to turn into the storage building is very bad with many pot holes. I thought I was going to get a flat tire when I drove in. Just make sure you use causion and go very slow. Dont know who owns that part of the street. Its a dead end. The best part was being able to use thier truck for free to move in! Great place! I would highly recommend and use this storage again.

Went from paying 50 time 75 dollars for storage space pissed me off because all my things are in there and I dont have time to move it from one storage to another in such a short notice. The people at the office are great but price increase is crap!

Short term/3 month rental was a miserable experience from beginning to end.1. Move in day was a nightmare, site manager would not allow the movers to unload the truck near the unit so I incurred an overtime charge.2. Unit was not accessible after a snow storm due to drifting which was not plowed out. I didnt have a shovel in my car so I dug to the door with my hands.3. Household goods being stored were ruined due to water and the insurance company (which renters are forced to pay for) denied the claim because it couldnt be proven where the water came from. The policy only covers water that comes from the ceiling and I have no proof where the water entered the unit.I would highly recommend renting elsewhere.

Ive been renting a climate-controlled unit there for 9 months. The girls there Marisol and Yolanda are so sweet, much nicer than the people at Public Storage who I tried to go to first. The unit is perfect for everything I needed to store from my apartment. Which was great because moving from one state to another is very stressful. Anything I need the girls can help me with, whether its advice on how to store things or any other questions I have. My grandma loves them too! My only problem is the Auto Parts City place next door, whose trucks constantly make monsterous potholes, and when you ask them to fix the holes you get Were working on it.

I would like to thank the ladies Yolanda and Marisol for making my experience at GURNEE CUBESMART unforgettable they made sure my unit was ready and they even had the truck in front for me, since I have trouble walking just all around great job wish more businesses ran like them .

Kept our stuff there for 1.5 years while in transition. When moving out we found mouse droppings all over and water damage on our mattress. When moving in they told us to not store any food items, which we didnt to deter the mice, but they still came in and pooped all over our stuff.The doors are not well sealed either, debris from wind was found over our stuff closer to the door.We were very unsatisfied with our experience
