Easiest purchase Ive ever made in my life! Went in looking for a violin and ended up walking out with a Yamaha Piano! Coolest dude was the fellow in the drum 🥁 section. He definitely helped me recognize my next instrument. I would of got the drums if I had a soundproof room but I needed a instrument just to help me concentrate on having a new talent. Will definitely be back. Might get x2 guitars in a few weeks. 💯💯💯

Always has a good selection. The people are knowledgeable and helpful. Both our kids took lessons here. From drums to guitars toDJ stuff and keyboards. Rental equipment and to service what we broke they pretty much cover it all. Their prices are fair and they offer a warranty for most items which they honor.

Going to miss this GC after 20 years of being the only store I use for gear. Jason is a great manager but one guy can only do so much. The funny part is two different customers were asking me for help while I completely wasted my time there today. Tells you something.

Great service I love guitar center customer service is great they have knowledge about the instruments and they really look out for your desires in the instruments you are looking for .

Im not going to give this place a bad rating. However, my experience there today was less than pleasant. Upon arriving to the store multiple employees just watched me walk around looking for what was a small product hanging on a peg roughly 9 feet up in an inconspicuous location. But thats not the problem. The problem was that the item was said to have been hanging on the wrong peg and actually costs twice what I saw. Now Im not one to believe that all businesses should honor their pricing errors. Sure, there are a lot of stores that do. I just dont feel that it should be a given. However, without me having an attitude the employee (Bruce) became angry with me for only pointing out which peg I got the item from.Guitar Center is a good company. Unfortunately, my current experience makes me not want to return.They may not miss my few little dollars, but they wont get my few little dollars.

Experience was great! The associate was able to give me an option in selling my old guitar to the store since i was unable to exchange for another guitar. But after selling my old guitar i used the money to get another one. It was great service! I like the fact that guitar center do not run out of stuff quickly and since new guitars are expensive, there are used guitars available and affordable.

Completely different treatment vs the Miami store. I called both stores to discuss some guitar amp options, the Miami sales rep exchanged 2 words with me and said thanks bye, Grant from the Hallandale store was nothing short of brilliant, spent a long time with me on the phone explaining the different options, pros and cons, brought new options to the discussions.... I was really pleased with the support.Although the Hallandale store is about 10 miles further away from my house vs the Miami unit I have no doubt where Im taking my business.

It is a very beautiful place because everything that is music and inspiration such as this place is for me is fantastic I adore it and I value it because music means the universal language of the very quaint peoples

Beautiful store. You get everything from guitars to drums to keyboards and so on.. this is one shop stop for the string equipment.. especially for guitars..

One of the main reasons i think GC is going bankrupt is customer experience. You better know 100% the gear you are looking for before going at least to this one on Hallandale beach. I got a Music Man Majesty, and the attitude of the personnel just to give a look to the guitar was super rude, like I’m not worthy of their time or the guitar, I took it because I really wanted it and I knew EVERYTHING about the guitar, but getting help or orientation about it? Forget it.I went online with Sweetwater and reverb and wow what a difference. Even the GC at coconut creek some of the employees might be lazy but you feel that they want to take care of your time and your business there.

Peter is the best repair technician I have seen yet.. he has a great sense of humor and knows his stuff! It was the quickest my step son has ever seen a technician work. Very happy with our visit and we will be back again to see Peter for sure.

One star ⭐️ because I wanted to buy DV Jody Jazz tenor mouthpiece and the item was in the System in stock but the sales person disappeared for half an hour looking for that item what I wanted to buy it. The other sales person told me the employee still looking …… I left the store.

The coming here for years excellent staff and great selection of New and used guitars. David handles the repairs there and is very honest. Will tell you if its worth fixing or not without just taking your money!

Ive been shopping at this location for over two decades, yet when I entered this time I was impressed with how clean and tidy the store was. Probably better than Ive ever seen it. Kudos to the staff!

I would not recommend this location. I drove 30 minutes to get here because I was told the repair person would be in. I show up, not one person acknowledges me, so I wait in a line just to be told I have to wait in another area. I wait there ignored while employees walk around and then the repair man comes out, not saying a word, preoccupied, who injures himself and says no repairs today and just leaves. Meanwhile, no other employees offer any sort of assistance so I just left. So basically I drove 30 minutes to get a guitar repair and I felt like I walked into a closed shop. I understand things happen but this was just comical. Like yeah if someone gets injured I don’t expect the repair to get done but I think it’s expected that someone offers some sort of assistance or solution, mind you it wasn’t like an ambulance was showing up and everybody was busy with that. It’s like no one who works there cares about their job. I’m gonna look into other guitar stores, this one lost my business. And this isn’t the first time this store was a let down, every visit seems to be lame with associates just not caring. I come every few months thinking it will be better, but it’s not. I won’t be returning after today. I wish the injured repair man a speedy recovery.

A bit dissapointed with this location in comparison with what it used to be in the early 2000.Maybe due to covid-19 but their stock was very low and not good options for what was left.This was my spot and generally i prefer GC over the other music stores but this place is discouraging.

It was really nice. The staff was polite and thought and they have a wide selection of things to pick from. I didnt even think i wanted anything when i went into the store however the environment was so inviting that I decided to give a few things a shot and walked out with a cheap banjo :) nice place.

Great choice of guitars, probably the best store Ive ever been to. Bought a guitar here for my husbands birthday. All guys are super helpful and nice, but Somesh is simply the best. He helped me a lot because Im a real newbie in everything that concerns guitars. So I got Gibson Les Paul Traditional and my husband was very happy with it.

Absolutely awesome! Peter helped me change my strings and clean my guitar. It was a little dusty.... Very efficient friendly service. Peter was extremely knowledgeable. Thanks for everything!

Doors open, social distancing and the same useful and personable attention as always, they are actually running a special on music classes. I just went in for a electric guitar cover, which they are running great specials on.

Guitar Center in hallandale is like the big little neighborhood music instrument store. Its like the neighborhood guitar store and the neighborhood drum store the DJ store the music keyboard store all rolled into one..They have lessons.They sell new and used gear..I have bought many used guitars from guitar Center. On most purchases you get 45 day no question asked return policy with a few exceptions like DJ equipment and vintage instruments.Pete is the guitar tech to go to for all your set up, new strings or major repair he can do it all and done right.A lot of the used instrument and gear is available online at their website at guitarcenter.com but they sell things in the store that are not listed online, often because they are being held for a month by law. These used items will be on display and can be purchased for layaway until the date and will never appear online.

You can almost find everything there but as far as marching band accessories it is a hit or miss but overall great store

Great guitar selection. Interesting instruments available other then guitars (drums, pianos) Missing accessories for sale such as guitarist chairs. I purchased a couple of nice new guitars here. One needed to be restrung after a few months but Guitarist tech not available on some days! :(

Love coming here. For my fellow violin players, they barley ever have violin learning materials or supplies, but they are available online. Other than that, this store is made for music lovers 💕

Thank God Doc runs this location! He always helps above and beyond the call of duty.He saves more deals and is the reason I continue to return to this location, he makes up for the Horrible service and attitude of Bruce. Do your store a solid and release him, you have know idea how he damages the store’s reputation.

Becareful, with the store in Hallandle Beach FL. They have a problem with the computer system and hold your money and your items for more than a week. Nobody take responsability, the manager? no manager.

Certainly would come back to visit this well kept store. The personnel too kept a positive feedback. Kind of felt like home, with staff to help you in case you have any questions. Would recommend some price changes on the gig bags though, since when did carrying a symbol gig bag get costly?

Theyre good and friendly. Last time I went 5min before they close just to buy an iLok usb and some guitars cords, and they still let me in and even searched for the iLok in storage because there was none in display. I left happy with my items right after those 5min.

As a musician I love this place. They sell good products including their own line of cables called Live Wire which are good quality and durable. Their prices match those you find online but you get the items right away. Great return policy, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I like that you can also try a lot of the instruments before you buy. I have also used their rental service and it is hassle free.

I love it there so much nice people friendly all around it. I play the drums and I go here to practice and hope to soon get to buy my own drum set. They let you practice on any really its a great place to practice and buy your musical instruments at a not bad price Basically everything is from probably 100 - 330 dollars minimum to buy any around there and its not bad. If you like to play instruments or want to practice because you dont have the instrument you are learning you have to go there!!!
