This old-fashioned soda shop is such a great addition to Main Street. I went a little out of my comfort zone and got the Strawberry Double Dip Soda. It had the consistency of a Root Beer Float but even sweeter. I’ll definitely be back for ice cream soon, they make their waffle cones in house!

Best ice cream ever! Staff is always pleasant, Mayday is my favorite! She always takes great care of me when I come in! They are walking distance from my house which is dangerous for my ice cream obsession.

I got the cotton candy ice cream and it tasted like real cotton candy. The thing is that it had chocolate chips in it and it made the texture horrible and it made all of the actual cotton candy go away. So if you go there be aware that some flavors might not be what you think they are.

This place was AMAZING. Service was a little slow but that was really the only downside. Prices were very reasonable and the desert was very enjoyable. The few questions I did have the staff easily answered. The bathrooms were very clean and gender neutral if that is important to you. I hope to return to this establishment very soon.

We have been twice now. Love the atmosphere and flavors. Service was very friendly.

I had finally made the stop to this little ice cream shop, was full of people. I did notice a few things. When your done with your item you ordered theres really no clear direction as to where or what to do with your stuff. People were piling items on a table then I ask an she said just leave your stuff. It felt odd to do that since the store was full of people an someone could use our seats. An many had left over. The ratio needs alittle tweaking. More ice cream is needed, alot of products are getting wasted. When we walked in a lady handed her plate back an it had alot more brownie etc on it. Which is fine till I got mine an noticed there wasnt even a whole scope of ice cream on mind and so much fudge . I had done the same when I left. Here are some photos an I hope all the best for this place for it seems to bring in people of all ages.

I went here with my children for my birthday. Two are preteen/teen and one is a toddler, and all 3 had a fantastic time and loved the ice cream. I am obviously an adult and I also REALLY enjoyed it. So the food is GREAT and the staff were very friendly and seemed to be having a great time at work. It was fast and friendly service, the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, and the food was excellent. I would definitely come back. Often.

What a neat and unique place! Felt like we had stepped back in time when we walked into The Village Parlor! The interior design, architecture, and decor is very vintage. My husband had a hankering for a fudge brownie sundae but werent sure if they offered that type of treat. Well, they did ... And it was delicious! Waist line or no, The Village Parlor is worth the extra steps during the week!

Ice cream was delicious, but the signage said handmade waffle cones despite my waffle cone very clearly coming from a Joy box sitting on the back counter. Nothing horrible, just a bit weird.

What a great local spot! My husband and I stopped in after a shopping spree at Main Street Vinyl. He got a banana split and I had a scoop of their cappuccino frozen yogurt and it was heavenly! Well definitely be back with the kids.

Very cool place. The young ladies in the store were very nice and helpful. We had not been there before and the selection was so good it was brad to decide. The prices were very fair and the serving was just right. We will absolutely be back. I want to try the Banana Split.

Very nostalgic, havent been in the building in 30 years and love that they kept some of the original things like the mirror. Hot fudge brownie sundae was delicious and my girls both got shakes. With tip, it was $20.

I wont go back. Its not worth the price of the ice cream, especially in Hamilton. Simple ice cream floats you can make at home or get cheaper at another local ice cream place. The building was nice looking inside. There were three workers doing nothing when we were there, then one of them left and the place started to get busy and most of the tables were dirty when the customers tried to sit down. They should have been cleaning the place up when they werent busy instead of doing nothing. If Im going to pay $20 for three ice creams, I expect to sit at a clean table.

The establishment was very nice! A little pricey! Milkshakes over 5 dollars apiece, think Ill stick with United Dairy Farmers for a Shake!

$15 for 2 ice creams (single & double dip waffle cones). Ice cream was good but too expensive. When I asked about the cost the cashier said it was because I ordered waffle cones!* Update, The owner reached out and corrected the issue. Im very pleased of the customer service and will be a frequent patron

Ice cream was okay but customer service was awful. i understand that they are teens but they didn’t even welcome us when we came in and they seemed dismissive the whole time. right as i walked in, i wanted to leave.

Had a decent brownie sundae. My sister got one scoop of the salted caramel and they gave her not even a 1/4 a cup of it. And the price was over 3 dollars!!! You can get a regular size milkshake at UDF down the road for the same price and it would have tasted better.

I like that they make their own waffle cones and have a good variety of flavors. Saturday night is a little chaotic. They might need one extra pair of hands.

First time and we loved it!

My strawberry sunday was delicious however I think the temperature inside the restaurant was colder than the icecream. The staff was very polite when not serving anyone each and everyone of them had their phone out and was on it. Not one washed their hands when going to serve the next customer. The manager was nice however she stood right at the cashier station eating her fast food delivery vs stepping away to eat then rang us out. I think its a little pricey, $11 for two people

Gross ice cream, instead of staying with their homemade ice cream they switched to Hershey brand, and do not order a malt because it taste nothing like a malt should. I will stick to UDF, same prices better quality.
