My first time ever owning and remodeling a home. I visited 6 other stone places and decided on Stone 4 Kitchen because from the get go Dimitry helped me through the selection process. He spoke to me in length about different types of stones and how to properly care for them. When Stone 4 Kitchen didn’t have what I thought I wanted at the time, they were able to refer me to several other places. I almost chose my slab from Authentic Stone (also highly recommend) in Newport News who work with Stone 4 Kitchen but the price was out of my budget. I finally decided on a marble from them and was ready for install. Although there were a few snafus with the initial install estimate as (we were on a tight timeline), they actually moved other jobs around so they could make sure they completed my order. Nicole is awesome! She worked with me to resolve a problem with our contractors. Gana is knowledgeable and efficient. Installation team (6guys...it was heavy!) were great. We did catch an area of the sink they didn’t properly seal before they left but they were able to comeback and fix it. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful with a great sense of humor. Would use them again for projects in the future as I still have bathrooms to do!

I was ready for a new kitchen. After coming to the end of a tiresome search, I walked into Stone4Kitchen. This company has everything. The staff was so friendly and educated me on the difference between stones, which helped me make the right choice for my home with children. The guy that came to laser measure was a delight! When I received the final price I was beyond happy. The price was very affordable and much lower than all the other places. I was even able to purchase my wall and floor tile through them. The install crew were very professional and my kitchen was sparkling before they left. It was a one stop STRESS FREE shop for all my kitchen needs. I appreciate you all at Stone4Kitchen!!!

Deciding to upgrade your countertops is a huge and expensive decision. Usually you have an idea of how you want your space to look and I did. I went in with my mind on beautiful white countertops with some minimum grey veining. Lets just say my mind was overwhelmed with how many choices were available here. From granite, quartz, marble and so many options to see, the first person to assist gave a wealth of information. He let us know that they installed to the need and it would come with a sink. He then gave us the lay of the countertop land. He showed us the popular ones and let us graze on our own. We could not decide just yet. His suggestion was to bring a piece of our cabinet with us so we could see how it would look. Our second trip, great idea, still overwhelming but better because what I thought would work did not look that good with my dark cherry wood cabinets. Another staff member saw us walking the the cabinet drawer and showed us a granite top that would match perfectly. The only issue is it was not what I thought I wanted so we left to think on it.After a few days, I called to make a decision and was told it was no longer enough available, back to the beginning.We made one final trek back to the ever changing lot to find another option and to our surprise found more of the one we wanted. This option is name White Spring.The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. The person who measured our space was professional and surprisingly quick. The removal and installation was approximately 4 days. We only lost a little trim that we need to replace during the install over wise the countertops are beautiful.Here are some things I would recommend to future customers to inquire about or the staff to share: 1. Prep of your space before removal (I asked yet it would have been great to get the information with appointment setup) 2. How long will it be before the space could be used (we found out roughly 24 hours) 3. When should I have the plumber come to connect the sink and faucet? (remove everything from old sink because they dispose it and we forgot the garage disposal bracket). No worries we just needed to make a trip to Lowes for trim and bracket.Now here are the pictures, dont mind the missing backsplash that is the next big decision Im trying to see what looks best. Note the faucet was purchased separately. There was an unknown additional cost to low rise sink, and cost in additional to estimate given for removal. Our actual cost was roughly $350 more that estimate due removal, sink, and difference in the estimate given.We would definitely use them again and was happy to keep get our service locally.

Stone 4 Kitchen did an amazing job. From allowing me to see my slab of Unique Marquina Quartz before it was fabricated. To helping me during the install of not only my countertops but my full backsplash. They made the experience so effortless and fun. James & Marcus were amazing and kind when my kids asked questions when they installed the counters. DG & Mogi were very kind and professional as well when they installed the full backsplash. I can no say enough about Stone 4 Kitchen their staff and the quality of product. As you can see from my Before & After Photos.

Terrible. First, I went to pick up my order for a vanity top and they lost the paper work so it wasnt ready. I picked it up a couple of days later got it home and it didnt fit. The sink hit the front of the cabinet. I took pictures and emailed them with the problem. They refused to make a new top with the sink mounted in the proper location because they said they used my measurements and not theirs even though I provided pictures of the cabinet with a tape measure on the cabinet (see pictures) for both width and depth. All they were willing to do is trim it, so it was either have less overhang or pay for a new top. Bottom line, they cant handle a simple 24W x 22D vanity top. Im going somewhere else for future projects.This is the follow up to the owners response. You are correct, I did approve the drawing listing the OUTSIDE dimensions of the vanity, but that was to ensure proper overhang. But the sink has to fit INSIDE the vanity, for that you use the INSIDE dimensions of the cabinet, right? You NEVER refered to the pictures I provided showing the tape measure on the cabinet for both width and depth, if youd had then the sink could have been properly placed using the INSIDE dimensions from the tape measure. You bungled the job then blame the customer. I hope you remember what Henry Ford said Without customers, all you have is a hobby

I am a contractor with high end clients and I have been working with Stone 4 Kitchen for over 6 years. They are always willing to answer any questions and their stone yard is open all day for you to walk through. Their product is of high quality and a wide variety of stones with outstanding pricing. Best I know of around Hampton Roads. I dont ever have an issue with scheduling or completing jobs. The installers are very professional and take pride in their work with every kitchen and bathroom they install. They keep up with any mess throughout the job and clean up all their trash when they are done. They really enjoy the look of excitement they see on each clients face when they see the beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. We are all very thankful for Stone 4 Kitchen and the wonderful customer service we receive every time!

Stone4Kitchen offers a good selection and attentive service prior to obtaining your first payment. After the initial deposit, beware! I was quoted $250 for a very difficult removal which took about 30 minutes. The worker who did the removal even questioned the amount of the charge. He stated this was an easy removal. Lack of attention to detail is the norm. My wife was initially presented a bill for $1650, even though we had already paid $1000. The person doing the removal of the old counter, while friendly and polite, did not bring any floor covering material and I have wooden floors. During installation, cutting was done in the room and little effort was made to cleanup. I told them to go and cleaned up myself. However, my major complaint deals with basic honesty. Throughout the process, we told them that the granite would replace a tile over Formica covering. We were assured that the granite would cover all areas. Much to our surprise and after the installation, we were left with a very noticeable gap above one cabinet. I called the company and complained. After some discussion, I was told they would not do anything but that Stone4Kitchen(per conversation with Nicole) would reimburse me for my expenses in covering the gap. They did return to me a piece of wood which was the underside of the Formica top, covered with glue and totally unusable as a trim piece. I purchased materials from Home Depot and completed the work. I then submitted my receipts for a big total of $19.54! Today, after I inquired I was told via email that they would not reimburse me. To me, the money is not the issue. I attended a school with an honor code and lived by it throughout a naval career. It is very disappointing to me that Stone4Kitchens owners apparently do not. Even though their website states We take great pride in understanding our clients special needs and desires for their project and work hard to ensure complete satisfaction. Read all of their reviews before deciding who gets your business. I didnt and I regret it.

These guys do a good job on cutting and prepping your counter-top. HOWEVER they leave your house a complete mess. They dont clean up after themselves, I had granite dust all over my house, they took the mirrors of my bathroom wall and left them and cant even put drawers back in the kitchen or bathroom after taking them out. They not only broke my cherry vanity but also left a gap in my kitchen counter large enough to stick my finger into. Also after explaining that I was not painting the walls they still managed to tear up the sheet-rock in several places. You would think for several thousand dollars that you would get a professional finished job, but not here.

We had an excellent experience having granite installed in our kitchen. The installers were polite and knowledgeable. We were presented with a couple of options that they fully explained to us, and we were able to make quick decisions. They did a great job! Highly recommend.

Went there to get granite for an outdoor kitchen. Lady at front desk greeted us and then another lady came up to us and said she did not have time for us and was very rude. The lady at the front desk helped us and she went above and beyond. She made the experience happen for us.

We used them when we rebuilt our house after it burned to the ground. Ghana was wonderful! Kitchen counters, kitchen island, built-in china cabinet counter and two bathrooms. Perfect work. We couldnt be happier. They had granite that no one else carried. We went to all the big granite places in Hampton Roads and Richmond. Even their sinks are top notch :) We went with Star Reef for kitchen and double vanity bathroom. Dont recall the name of single sink vanity counter; it was black and white granite.

We were extremely pleased with not only the enormous selection choices of granite, but also the service that we received. After looking at the large number of slabs in the yard, we chose one that we liked for our small project for a counter and sink for our powder room. It was ready within a week! I would highly recommend Stone 4 Kitchen for anyone looking for granite or quartz.

BLUF: professional master crafters.This is the second set of kitchen countertops I have had them prepare and install. First in 2014, most recently in 2020. Both times were phenomenal products and very professional installers. My cabinets werent level the most recent time (my fault) but they made a special trip out a day later to finish the install after I got the cabinets fixed. I realize there is probably some variability between installers but I have had a great experience both times. Prices are far lower in comparison to the big box stores (typically by 25-35% for similar grades of stone). This is the go-to countertop source in Hampton Roads.As a bonus: when they were cleaning up they put our trash out to the street and made sure all the sealer fumes were cleared for our newborn in the house. Very considerate.

I couldnt be happier that I decided to go with Stone 4 Kitchen for the installation of granite countertops for my kitchen. From the wide selection of slabs that were available on site, to the service, the price, the fabrication, and the installation. My countertops are absolutely beautiful! I contacted many other installers before choosing Stone 4 Kitchen and their responsiveness, service and price is what won me over. Initially I was nervous because I was modifying the layout of my kitchen and wasn’t sure how the new design was going to turn out. Due to the changes being made in my kitchen a seam would be required and my concern was if it would be noticeable or not. Ryan and Nicole went out of their way to make the whole process easy for me and reassured me that the countertops would turn out great, which they did. Their ability to laser measure also gave me an additional layer of confidence with my decision. Upon installation I was impressed. Everything flowed so smoothly that the seam essentially looks seamless. The installers expertise, friendliness, and professionalism was beyond my expectation. When I was visiting my cousin’s house, their house kitchen was done recently remade with nice stone tops & cool designed cabinets. There was also couple coffee tables made with stone in their living room. We were told those were made by Stone 4 Kitchen. We really liked them & decided to take a tour at their office. It was nothing like what we usually see in the states. They got everything designed out for any kind of room for every taste. I know I live few hours away, but when we re-do our kitchen I will be definitely contacting these guys.

The price for granite was fine. the customer service was awful. it took them 4 times to complete the install mainly because the measurements were wrong. if you have another option, I suggest you try it first before you commit to Stone4Kitchen

They installed my granite in my new kitchen and the installation was quick and professional! They had to do a few minor cuts when they were here but I am completely satisfied with the company! I delt with Nicole at this company and she was so wonderful & helpful! I will be using them again when I remodel the 2 bathrooms!!

It was not a good experience when I tried to order countertop from them. I’ve got price per sqft from estimator-owner that was completely different from the price I’ve got in their office. And he counted 5 sqft more than I really have ( it’s not my own opinion! I have 6 more estimates from different companies and it was 5 sqft less than from stone4 kitchen!)Looks like they are trying to get as much as they can from each customer...I’m happy that I chose different company!

I walked in here and they ask you to have on a mask and wash your hands. Several sinks but no paper towels at the sink. Asian lady walks right past me out of her office with an attitude when I asked was somebody going to help me. Neither her or the other lady working at the time had on their mask. Terrible customer service and not deserving of a cent of my money.2/19/21- FYI I had on my mask. The employees didn’t.

Wow! Not only do I LOVE my new granite island, but I am so happy with and impressed by Stone 4 Kitchen. Every step of the process has been flawless, usually it seems nothing is ever easy for us. The selection of slabs in their yard is huge and may seem overwhelming, but I knew the perfect one for us as soon as I laid eyes on it. Placing the order was a breeze and an installation date was scheduled before we left. I even got a call the day before that they had a spot open up for us a day early, so I took it. John and his assistant showed up on time. They were very friendly, courteous and meticulously cleaned as they worked. I cant wait to be ready for the rest of our kitcken countertops.

They were so cooperative and helpful during the selection process and went out of their way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Their office staff, production team, and installers are all great. Their price was the best around (I went to several places) and they came out and measured and installed very quickly! My vanity top and 2 half walls in my new bathroom look absolutely amazing!!!

Had new granite countertops installed yesterday, and the installers did an amazing job. We have alot of countertops and already installed tile backsplash, and they didnt not damage anything. The whole crew were super nice and committed to excellence. They encountered a little issue and solved it there onsite and were able to complete the install perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves. I was very nervous because of the tight fit they had to work with and having so much to install. I couldnt be happier. This is the 2nd time Ive used stone4kitchen.. and I will continue to use them for any other countertop replacements.

I would not recommend doing business with this company. I picked out granite for a master bathroom, and it was tagged sold with both my name and my contractors name. My husband asked if we needed to put down a deposit and was told no. Meanwhile, I have purchased floor and shower tile to compliment the granite I chose for my countertop. We are about two weeks shy of installation. I went by to check on something else today and found out they cut my slab and used it on another job. The owner offered no apology and said, Thats why you make a deposit. Mind you, we were told we didnt need one. Clearly, the owner did not want to take ownership of her companys mistake. Really poor customer service. We used Panda Kitchen and Bath for a kitchen remodel a few years back and were very pleased with them. The only reason we went to Stone 4 Kitchen for our bathroom is because it was where our contractor goes for most jobs. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I purchased countertops for the kitchen. They did a pre-measurement of my kitchen then cut the slab to fit. Kitchen looks great. Will use them for the bathrooms too.

We just had our kitchen redone and we are loving our beautiful white cabinets and fantastic quartz countertops!!! They are extremely professional and catered to our every request!! Katie and Joanna were so helpful and understanding, I could not recommend any other place! The price and product are both unbeatable!!! Stop in and see for yourself!

Responsive, excellent price, great to work with....The folks at the front desk were great to work with; we spent all afternoon playing with colors and options until we settled on a type of Cambria.... Once ordered, they asked us if we wanted to see the slabs to make sure the colors and overall look were right.... It was and they were installed shortly thereafter.... Installation was VERY quick and we have a huge kitchen... We like them so much, we just ordered a vanity top for the powder room.... Thanks guys!!!!!!

Stone 4 Kitchen came recommended and overall has been great to work with. Gana, Patrick and the field crews have been wonderful.We have had delays with our cabinets and went ahead with the kitchen install. Beautiful work. However we did have a miss measure on one section and wanted to incorporate that replacement with additional counter top work. Did not work out. Cant seem to get a call back and now we are 4 - 5 weeks from the final go ahead to replace the section.Based on the inability to finish our project, I have given the 2 star rating.I will also inform the recommending cabinet company of the poor showing.

I had a customer service issue with Stone4Kitchen that I felt could have been handled better. They damaged a wall in my home. They claimed that it was a tight fit and unavoidable. I issued a complaint and they stated the owner/manager would call me back to discuss. To this date, I have not heard from them. This is unfortunate. I only did business with them due to a recommendation, but I will not be recommending them to anyone. The money I saved will be used to repair my wall.

BEWARE!!! First of all the granite that we had installed was not polished! When I asked about the dullness they said that they did not polish their granite eventhough the granite in the showroom looks polished. They should let the customers know this upfront. Second, the first set of installers were very unprofessional as far as cleanliness! They left trash in my yard and trash under my counters, I had one counter top that was installed with a chip in it which they ended up after a failed attempt to repair, and the top themselves were left dirty after the installation. BEWARE!!!

Owners have bad communication skills and lack of owning up

Our experience with Stone 4 Kitchen was a complete nightmare. From the measuring to the installation there was nothing but miscommunition. We were told the measurements of our farmhouse sink were incorrect on install day which prohibited the completion of the job. We readjusted the sink (per the installers instruction) and they returned the next day. When they returned they found out the countertops were cut incorrectly by the shop. The installers were informed by the shop to “make it work”. This lead to a countertop installer taking it upon himself to saw/cut/disfigure our CUSTOM farmhouse sink front. When I confronted him about the cut he proceeded to tell me it was like that already. They were asked to leave and the manager was called to come out to fix the problem. We had to order a new cabinet front from Richmond, have a cabinet maker re-cut the piece and install it. Once all that was finished, the countertop installers returned to complete the job. But again, they were unprepared and had to come back the following day to install the last piece. They were in my house a total of 5 times. Inconvenient is an understatement. Not to mention the main office calling me in the middle of the mess to collect payment when the job was anything but complete. And everyday they called to tell me they would be there between 1-4 and still showed up early. It was the most unprofessional experience my husband has even been a part of and he is a project manger. Please steer clear of this company if you wish to keep your sanity while completing a renovation.

They have serviced serveral apartments for us for the past few years and have done an amazing job. from the customer service to the installation to the finished product it is always a great experience. We recieve granite in our kitchens and bathrooms and its bult to last a life time. I would reccommend them to anyone looking to remodel or upgrade.

They installed the cabinets and counters in my home. They did a horrible job. I had to put a hinge on myself. They cracked some of the wood on the inside. Scratches everywhere paint chipping.
