No sooner walked in the door, than we were almost attacked by an employee, asking us what we were looking for, etc. We (stupidly) told the employee what we were looking for, and they followed us to that area. Never left us alone to look around at things and discuss $$ and such; hovered over us like a vulture. Employee was very nice to us and was pleasant, however, we could tell this employee was only being nice to us to make a sale. What happened to the good old days when you could go shopping and werent attacked by an employee who then constantly hovered over you? Sometimes you just want to look at things!

I do NOT like being stalked around the store. Every time I turned to say something to my husband, the salesperson was right there - even after we said wed ask for help if we needed it. While standing near the entrance, I saw and heard the manager watching the door and sending salespeople to pounce on potential customers before they even got completely through the door. Thats ridiculous. Yes, being interested in/attentive to your customers is a good thing, but knowing when to back off is even better! Stalking customers is a very effective way to lose sales.
My husband I went to Wolfs Furniture looking for a power recliner sofa.We were greeted by Terri Brooks. She was a great help to us. She helped us find just what we were looking for. They had some great deals. I wouldrecommend shopping there if you are in need of furniture.
Friendly staff. Of the furniture places Ive used its the only one I can reliably come back to for availability and variety. Delivery was quick and they were careful during installation.
Staff was very nice and not pushy. Gave us our space to look around and were ready to help us with any questions. Loved the experience just a little pricey for my budget (which was known before we went there, just went to see what deals they had/markdowns)
Terri is wonderful. Shes attentive and competent which is in vast contrast to my other experiences at other furniture stores in the area. I was in and out within a couple of hours versus five hours at other places. Thank you for the outstanding customer service and kindness!
I will NEVER buy anything from Wolfs again. The instore service was great... of course due to the commission from the sale.The delivery was a nightmare and service is proving to be just as poor. Service call was scheduled between 9-12. They changed it to 12-2 without so much as a phone call.I thought I was being more than fair, not asking them to replace my kitchen floor which now has a hole in it from the delivery. I was asking for a small throw rug to cover it. They cant seem to do that, so a whole new floor it will be.Very poor experience.
I love shopping at Wolf Furniture. The website has detailed information and great pictures, so I troll through and collect ideas for my favorites. I get a clear idea of exactly what I want, and then Im ready for the store. The sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and go the extra mile to make sure I get what I really want. Its the easiest furniture experience Ive ever had.

To say this has been a terrible experience would be an understatement. I have NEVER posted a negative review in my life but I fear that other people could fall victim to poor quality and poor customer service so I had to post. I purchased 3 La-Z-Boy reclining sofas last March 2018. Custom made couches. Our first service call was in August when we noticed the recliners leaning to the side. Service came out and the technician, who was very polite and respectful, advised my wife and I that these couches will continue to do this. They service them all the time. That technician has been a technician for 37 years. He leaves and has to order 2 more mechanisms for other couches. One missed appointment, 15 phone calls later and we got the second set of mechanisms installed. They were installed by a technician that had been doing it for 19 years. Again, very professional and respectful. He advised my wife and I the same thing the first technician said, which was that this issue will never resolve. They will continue to lean to the sides and to the back. I have spoken with their corporate office, who hung up on me after I asked to speak with a manager. I have spoken with 2 different managers, including their store manager, at their Hanover, PA showroom. Both of which keep telling me someone from service will call me. I spent over $4,000 for these couches and they are not even 1 year old yet. In that first year, 6 mechanisms had to be replaced, screws needed to be added, and a spring had to be put on since it wasnt put on in the factory when built. For full clarity also, there is only 2 adults and 1 child living in the home. These are the newest couches in the home and the only ones to ever have an issue. The other couches in the home are 10 years old and never one issue. Steer clear from this place. They will ignore your complaints and continue to shuffle you from person to person with no resolution until your warranty runs out.
Yes, Wolf is more expensive than other furniture stores- but in my opinion well worth the price! Wolf has a ton of selection and I have found every staff member to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We worked with Mark Cohol to purchase a sectional and he was extremely informative as well as giving an honest opinion on each piece and brand. Definitely will return!
Terrible customer service -- We purchased an expensive sectional and oversized ottoman in December, 2018. To date, we still have not received the correct feet for the ottoman. No one in the store or from the customer service number has shown any effort or willingness to correct the problem with any speed or accuracy. We finally received the feet to our ottoman yesterday (5 MONTHS later) only to discover they are completely wrong! We will NEVER shop here again.
Stay away! We went looking for a bed trying to find one that was in stocks and wouldn’t take long to get. We found a bed and the manager said it was in stock at the warehouse and we should be getting a call soon to schedule the delivery. Two weeks past and we heard nothing. I called and they told me the that item was “back ordered”. They never called me to let me or anything.Now almost three months later it has been postponed 3 times. The only way I know this is because I call and ask for a status update. They don’t tell me anything.This is not how you run a business!!
We liked the selection and quality of recliners on the showroom floor at Wolf Furniture in Hanover, PA! The sales representative was friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy! We are very happy with the service. Wolfs delivery is on time as promised and they keep you notified throughout the delivery process.
I love the Wolf stores. When shopping for quality furniture items for my mother, 94 years young, I have always been able to find an inexpensive furniture item (table, chair, sofa) that fits into her social security only budget.If I could purchase new furniture items every year, I would shop at the Wolfs furniture stores. Buy the best and cry once!
Staff was pushy, disinterested in my opinions to spend my money. When I said show me more, I was directed because the woman went to the single female instead. I sat down on a chair and watched her. It was her personal studio. Fixing her hair, checking her make up, phone gently getting massaged, singles club.
We visited the showroom on January 4th after our living room furniture had to be discarded. We fell in love with the sectional with the ottoman. We were told that it was a very popular item and should be in stock since it was a sale promotion. We were shocked to hear that they did not haul away the old furniture and that there was a $150 delivery fee. We said we would just pick it up. After going through all of the ordering process and putting a deposit down we were told that the item would not be available until the end of January. The sales person wrote End of January on the receipt. My wife called the other day to see if we could get a more exact date. We were politely told that we should expect the sofa at the End of January again and the ottoman is back ordered until sometime in February. In the meantime, we have laid new flooring and painted the entire living room. It is unfortunate that we wont be able to enjoy the sofa until End of January and when we do get it we will possibly have to wait an entire month before we can enjoy the entire set. We are considering cancelling. In this day in age, you should expect free delivery and removal of your old furniture. A company should be able to provide an answer to the date and time when you should expect the furniture. A furniture store would benefit greatly from providing the customer with the ability to impulse buy even allowing a customer to ignore their slightly higher prices.

Bought a couch and was told that it would be delivered within 2 weeks. Its been 2 months. Nothing but excuses and BS from the store. Avoid this place at all costs!
I went there 2 weeks ago without my husband, I was wandering around the store for 30 minutes and not once was I greeted or asked if I needed help. Went in later with my husband and was greeted promptly. We were ready to buy an $1800.00 floor model table and chairs and pay cash. THEN we asked about delivery. $100.00 to deliver it just 4 miles! There is a another great furniture within 1 mile of their store that is smaller and deals with all American made hardwood furniture at a comparable price and they deliver for FREE. Which store do you think I bought from?

We went there in the evening to look for bedroom furniture. We were the only people in the store other than employees. No one got off their chair to ask if we needed help. All of the furniture we saw there was expensive for the quality of it. We ended up going to Colony House and finding everything we wanted for a decent price.
Went in there last Sunday and worked with a Mr. Mark. Was a Very nice salesman. Helped me and my wife out and was very Patient. If you go there he is a good one to ask for. Went well over budget but wife wanted what the wife wanted. Sofa is suppose to be here on wendesday.

My daughter and I purchased a couch from Wolf furniture in early May. It was a standard couch w the companys standard fabrics. No special order. We were told it would take 8-10 weeks for delivery.At 8 weeks I called to check on the status. They told me it would be 10 weeks. At the end of August I called again. At this time it was going to be estimated at early September. No phone call letting us know of the delay or? the reason for it.When I asked why we didnt receive a call or notification. It is out of our hands when the manufacturer gets the furniture to us. Not acceptable as a customer.On August 27, I finally recieved a call about delivery and was given an option of 2 days. When I chose the date of delivery, it was shared to me that someone would call me the following Tuesday to arrange a time for delivery.What a joke. I recieved a recording stating a time.( which was not the open afternoon time I had shared) When I called to notify them the time would not work, they stated that it would push us back 10 days for delivery and they were charging $50. For cancelling delivery. This is ridiculous!!!I was expecting a call as they stated. I was expecting better customer service, listening to the customer and calm phone communication. I am very disappointed by the service and phone communication.As a person who works in customer services, excuses dont work. Talking over the customer during a conversation doesnt work. LISTENING, investigating and getting back w a solution does.This will be the last time I purchase from Wolf furniture.Karen
We purchases a sofa it took over a month and a half to get a scedual for delivery and the delivery day came they didnt even nock on my door and letf and then call that they left because i wasent home and to re scedual again took a nother two weeks first time that i purchase something from them and the last i do not recommend theme over price and slow service

We bought a couch recliner here, and within 6 months it started falling apart had to get it fixed and now the other side is falling apart...definitely would never shop here again! Don’t waste your money! The furniture is low quality cheap junk!

Large selection of furniture. But very disappointed with pick up services. Bought end table and found out we couldnt buy the one there, showroom store only. We had to drive an hour away to pick it up and it came disassembled. Also, if it had been more than $250.00 WE would have been CHARGED minimum of $25.00 to pick it up after driving an hour to pick it up and assemble it ourselves.The only other option was to pick it up in Altoona (3 hours away - 6 hours total)And still put it together.
I spent 10 minutes in here. No one acknowledged my presence. I walked the entire store without help. The staff stayed behind their cubicle.

The store and staff are fine. I would give them a 5 Star but the delivery service is a joke and they have me so angry I can’t get past a 2. Its unfortunate the sale associates aren’t rated differently than the delivery. I’m paying a fortune to have it delivered and it snowed so they couldn’t bring it. Which I get and completely understand. But now instead of bringing it the next day I go back Into the rotation and have to wait another week. I took off work to be here and disposed of my old furnatre. So now I’ll be sitting on my floor for a week, have to take off another day and they won’t give me any sort of discount on the delivery fee since “it’s not their fault it snowed “. Well guess what, it’s not my fault either so why can’t you just squeeze me in the next day. My stuff is already on your truck!!!
Terrible experience. Items took 12 weeks to arrive instead of the expected 6-8. Staff was not helpful throughout the process. When the items finally arrived, one of them was missing its feet. Will not shop there again.

I Bought a Lazy Boy recliner less than 2 years ago at their Hanover location. The lady insured me that it was good quality and would stand by it with a lifetime warranty. Just over a year later, after leaning on one of the arms of the chair to sit down, I heard wood snap inside.After calling for lifetime warranty support, I found out that lifetime warranty means I have to pay $60 an hour for service, not a $60 flat rate, but $60 an hour for however long it takes to fix it. She didnt put a limit on it. I dont call that standing behind a product for $60 and hour. Im pretty sure that would cover all or most expenses to fix the recliner. What a sham!

I will never shop here again. It is a disaster of a store. We ordered a sectional sofa on black Friday. First we waited a half hour for a sales person to show up because apparently he didnt know what time the store opened. Then we finally ordered what we wanted, it had to be ordered because it was not in stock which is fine. They called us when it came in on December 10th and said it will get delivered on December 21st. Thats still fine..we will have it before the holidays! They called on December 19th and said they will come between 11:30-1:30 on Dec. 21st. My husband took a half day off work to be home in time when they came. However, they called at 8:40 that morning and said they will be there at 9:30 when we are both at work. He asked if they can come between 11:30-1:30 like we were told and the guy said no. My mother in law and to leave her work to come to our house to get the couch. THEN they brought us two chaise lounges instead of once chaise and the sofa part! We received to compensation for this disaster. They called and said we will get the correct part delivered on December 29th...after Christmas and another day someone will have to take off to wait for this couch. We will most likely never shop here again.UPDATE: They did give us our delivery fee back but we still wasted a day off work since they did not even come during their window of time and will have to take another day off.
Would go back again, the staff did no hover. Let us take our time to look around.

Horrible quality furniture, and horrible service. Within 6 months of owning our couch, the staples in the rear started cutting through the back of the couch. When we asked for a repair order, they proceeded to say we have to pay a ridiculous amount to have someone come look. Someone came to look, them they proceeded to tell me it would be $700 to fix the couch. I then decided to fix it myself, only to find out after removing the fabric from the couch, that I saw half of the couch was actually cardboard framing? Ive never seen anything like it! Needless to say I tossed the couch, and had to go to ashley furniture, spend half price on an actually quality couch. Unfortunately, Im stuck paying this 30% interest rate forever even though I dont have anymore of their furniture.

Agree with others on prices and sales. Special ordered Sofa and Chair with estimated delivery of 8-10 weeks. That was 15 weeks and 4 days ago.Today, finally, delivery. Wait, only the chair?First they tell us it will be longer, no, it is lost, no its not lost, we just dont know where it is, no wait, it was shipped to another location and you will now have it in 1 or two more weeks. Im not betting on it. Hope they dont bet on me being a return customer!
