Great store with all what u need. Very good and tasty bruit and vegetables

This is a good location for grocery shopping. They usually have good produce. Once I bought three peaches here and they were all bad; dry and flavorless. But all of the other times I was satisfied with the produce. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

Watch your fruit and vegetables. Most go bad within 2 to 3 days and are not very tasty. Their salad was out of date by 2 days and no one caught it. Most of the bags were starting to brown. The peaches rotted from the inside out before they were even ripe. Signs of being frozen and no one cares. Most employees were as friendly as a cactus.

Giant was clean, people were nice . The prices are unreal, how are we supposed to live with prices so high . I bought some roast beef, 17.99 a pound, UNREAL . THANK JOE & NANCY for this .

Yesterday, I was super pleased when the (who I assume) general manager approached a couple of us standing by the fresh food and asked if he could help us with anything. A few of us were waiting for fresh chicken. He went out of his way to help his very busy staff bag up rotisserie chicken and price it out for those of us waiting. In the grand scheme of things it seems minimal (we were all okay with waiting the extra few minutes to get a chicken), but in today’s world it was heart warming to see a manager helping out the other employees!

Giant/Martins food stores--the worst company I ever worked for...been there for 10 years to now I cant seem to get document of my last pay stub- Joe the manager gave me a number to call which I went through all of this stuff to end up waiting for 9 mins and to get HUNG up on --as soon as it actually started to ring. This is the worst company I ever worked for--and I work for myself---so what does that tell you ?? I wont be spending my money in any of those stores again. And if you did your proper research---you wouldnt want to be putting your hard earned money into such an evil company either.

A piece of advice: Check your receipts, every receipt! I almost always find errors on my receipts, always in Giants favor, never mine! Sale items come up regular price, BOGO items are charged full price for each, etc. I take my receipts back to customer service with each error marked but they somehow they never quite refund me for all of it. Im pretty tired of having to watch my Giant purchases so closely.I went to get donuts from the bakery case and a number of flies and gnats were crawling all over the baked items. DISGUSTING!! I asked to speak to the manager and told him what I saw. He looked at me with this unconcerned ambivalence and said nothing. No big deal...right?

One of the best selection of vegan, gluten free, and natural foods. The associates are always helpful and friendly.

Horrible.... Especially the departments that hurry through scrubbing to pass the inspections. more surprise visits are absolutely needed if you ask me. As I did work there for 10 years. Your Giant food company--loves to serve you old food- lied about on temp sheets. Fix your company already. Nasties. BECAUSE LEAVIING THE MEAT( etc. ) SIT OUT FOR HOURS ON END BECAUSE YOU WERE BUSY WITH CUSTOMERS DOESNT MAKE THE FOOD MAGICALLY LAST FOR EVER OR HALF A DAY! EW! UPDATE--And Im not surprised they have so many good reviews as they did those themselves lol ---who thinks giant is that great loll its lies.. All of it. Fake it till you make it right ?

Giant is a good store with alot of variety. It is not the closest to me so I dont shaop there every time but, I will go there to shop often because I love the pharmacist Faye and the tech Chris and will only get my scripts there!

Great staff - friendly, helpful & observant. Wish customer service was open before 9am...Very clean store. Nice selection of fruits & veggies. AND they have KEMPS frozen yogurt (although, not carrying the Cookies n Cream, anymore :-(.....).

Very friendly staff...My payment cards strip is worn out needs to be hand keyed this was way to much work at another store and they said it couldnt be done, came here got groceries and not a problem at all. The staff made shopping easy. Thank you

Good layout store with very helpful and knowledgeable staff member must wear a mask as in all places at the moment. but not any problems with stock and where to walk around the store lots of parking in the.parking lot and clean though out fresh fish meet and cook products and well as lots of beer and wine local and important to choose from. to.choose

On 12/14 at 10:30pm I went through the self checkout. The attendant, Linda, was very helpful and pleasant. When I left, she walked out with me, watched me pack my car and was inside safely, before she returned to the store. She didnt have to do this, however, it was very reassuring to know I was safe. Giant should be proud of Linda for going above and beyond for her customers. I pray you all have a blessed Christmas and safe New Year.

We have been watching this store go downhill since moving here in 2016. This past weekend, my husband and I went in for our regular weekly shopping trip. I had 6 items on our list. Of those, they did not have 4 of them. This is a usual occurrence here. Things we buy regularly, they will suddenly be out of for weeks, if not forever. I was once put on a list to be notified when a particular product finally came in. I was told they couldn’t get it. After 2 weeks with no call from the store (after having called once to confirm), we went in to find the shelves completely stocked with it!! This last trip was probably the worst. The (only two) cashiers with backed up registers were arguing with a young man who had been working non-stop from the time we had arrived, which had clearly upset him to the point of yelling back at them. I have also noticed that not a single person over the age of 25 seems to work there anymore. This store needs some decent management and some decent help.

Giant is always a good experience, great quality, service. Now if ya gave 2% off my bill or bonus points everytime self checkout is used...you would gain many Wal-Mart customers.

I bought lots of things on sale and some of the purchase price was covered with a gift card. Error on receipt was promptly corrected. Short line at customer service. Pleasant efficient staff. Public health measures in place. Lots of registers open. No customers were acting out. Parking spaces available. Parking lot clean and litter free. Sidewalk clean. Rest room clean with sufficient supplies. Sinks clean and clear of paper scraps, hair, and soap drippings. Baby changing area easily accessible.

I have been dissatisfied lately with the quality of the produce but otherwise it is always a wonderful experience!

I like the store but have trouble with the produce section...specifically, the prepackaged green salad. I dont know why, but several times I have bought Giant brand organic salad greens, only to have wet and rotting leaves in there. I bought this one on Thursday, Feb.26th, and it had a use by date of Mar 1st. I opened it today, the 27th, only to find wet rotting greens again in this one. I think I give up on salad greens.

I was surprised that the store would allow employees to promote their personal agenda on their vests i.e. buttons

Its giant, still trusty, makes a nice actual grocery store when u want to avoid the chaos show that is walmart.

Helpful employees, self checkout is generally a quick experience, and the store seems to be stocked and clean.

I would love to give five stars for decorating but the cake WAS DISAPPOINTING. ALL THE CAKES on display, in cooler, were at least two inches high. But we wanted a freshly made cake and ordered a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing for our grandson’s birthday party.Our cake was perfectly decorated but when we got home and opened the box, we noticed that it was only an inch high.We have had bad experiences with Weis (which is about 2 minutes away from us- burnt cake) So I figured Giant would be better.I was wrong.

Super frustrated! I am visiting Mom in Hanover, PA. I wanted to make her a nice meal. I went to Giant to purchase the ingredients. Several of the ingredients were on sale but....I dont have a bonus card. I asked if I could use a store card since I am not from the area, they said no. I asked the next customer if I could use hers. She said sure. The cashier said I could not do that. I ended up leaving without the food. How sad that this company had no solutions to offer me and would prefer that I didnt shop there. I thought after I left that I could have gotten a bonus card for myself, which would have been a solution they could have offered. They could have also suggested I use my mothers phone number... Which didnt cross my mind at the time. Makes me not want to shop at any Giant food store.

I really like giant food store, great selection of everything you could possibly need. The employees are also helpful and great in these very trying times with the covid 19 affecting all of us.

Like a lot of businesses since the economy has improved, Giant is making improvements to its store. I like how this Giant has well trained, helpful personnel staffing the different departments. The Pharmacy people are especially nice. Prices are higher than another big box store nearby, but Giant offers quality where it might be lacking in other establishments. The gas price discount is weak, their own pumps are always priced significantly higher than local chains or independents. Overall, Giant has what I need and Im willing to pay more for better produce and frozen foods.

I understand about the virus is going around and i know that its required to wear a mask in the store. But its a law stating that if you have a medical condition preventing you from wearing a mask which i do they couldnt let me in. This is very frustrating for me. Of course the manager there said that she has a medical problem too, but she has to wear one because its by law that employees that have to wear a mask while working. She was so rude to me.

Purchased three gift cards tried to exchange them for a different type of gift card immediately. The Store manager Angie who does not provide her last name offered zero assistance. Had no interest in trying to see if there where options or alternatives. Horrible customer service, all this while a guy literally running around with no mask on. The “Manager” just told me it was problem and went back to closed office. It’s refreshing to see that certain customer service manager have really learned a lot this pandemic. The issue is places like Giant believe they can walk all over people, and still have customers so did Sears, JC Penny, ETC. Guess I will see how there corporate office responds to my email.

I love that they have little carts for my little helper. They always have a good deal. Im a frequent giant Chopper and I go to this one very rarely. I was a little disappointed because the girl who was checking us out was very short with me, did not ask me for my club card just put in her own and its not like I didnt have almost $100 worth of stuff. And then rushed me along so fast that she forgot to give me one of my bags. I was satisfied when I called the next day and they told me that I could come back in for a refund anytime.

Just a little tip to other husbands who happen to offer to pick up a few items for you wife.. DONT do it on Sundays... OMG its a flipping mad house. The store and the service was great but the shoppers are freaking crazy. Now I remember why I dont normally ever do the shopping in our household. :)

Foods getting grosser in quality and freshness, and at the same time prices have gone up. The discounts on gas is the only reason I didnt give it 2 stars. Some sales are good like Pepsi, chips etc.. But not a good store for food, and thats who they are supposed to be! Now they sell booze which is an improvement, but I dont drink so no big deal for me. Valentines day wine and flowers is nice though, in one stop anyway.

Giant is the best, period. Great produce and meats. They have improved their self-checkout option to make it faster, and this store has great convenience factors too.

This was not my greatest shopping trip. Went to buy a beef roast for company and there werent any available in the meat section. There were 2 in stock under 3 lbs an in the price range of 18 -20 dollars each. Shelf items are clearly running out of stock and seemed a little high priced. Is the government controlling our food supplies?

I was very pleased to see that they have a variety of plant based foods. -Many non dairy products as well. They carry many Gardein frozen main courses, great for vegans.

With the heavy duty deep discount grocery Outlets Giant Food Stores has found its niche. Its not the cheapest place in town but the selection is unparalleled. You will find it at Giant, you pay a little more but they always have what youre looking for.

Large, mainstream market. Good selection.

They had some good deals, but lots of sales didnt ring up right. I had to drive back to get it fixed and costumer service made me wait to look up prices and try to tell me the tag wasnt right. I did get the refund, but didnt feel like it was good customer service at all.
