I went into the store today to purchase 4 boxes of Alani Nu protein bars and saw on their website that GNC price matches competitors. I wanted to support local by purchasing it here in store vs ordering from vitamin shoppe with free delivery. The associate was rude when I asked if they price match. He immediately assumed I was trying to price match amazon when I was asking to price match vitamin shoppe. I showed him what the gnc website says and nowhere on there does it state that franchise lcoations do not apply. His response was we are franchised so we dont follow the rules. I can understand that and accept the guidelines but the rude customer service was unnecessary.I will happily order from vitamin shoppe and have it delivered straight to my home.
