HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!THEY GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND...i fought 1 whole week to get my ac repaired and they kept making excuses and putting off scheduling an appointment. I ended up having to go with a different company. I needed air fixed with a high medical priority and these people DID NOT CARE

I have only praise for Comfort Tech. I had just had foot surgery and a couple days later woke up to a hot house! I also have my 92 yr old mom living with me so we were not going to be able to stay in the heat for long.I called the home warranty company and they got us connected with Comfort Tech. What a blessing!They sent Don and Otis Jr out to check our HVAC and they declared it be a goner. No surprise! However, the trick was to get it replaced in a timely manor due to our physical needs.Dealing with the home warranty company means a complicated process of paperwork and timing. Don moved heaven and earth to get us a unit, get it installed and get us back into our house as quickly as possible.We are back in our home and WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR DON & OTIS JR.Thank you Comfort Tech !!
A LOONG STORY....My A/C unit blew up on me with black dirt and smoke middle of the night, smoke detector went off and everything... scared me to death! Comfort Tech came to rescue at noon after placing report with fidelity home warranty that morning.Turns out that A/C wheel? totally crashed, taking the motor with it, and I had the weekend to wait for the parts to come in.. Sean called Monday morning to replace the parts, and it was up and running in no time...... wish it ended right there, but... hot air started to come out from the vent... I called again this morning at 7.. and Sean came at 9:30 to take a look again. Heater was also destroyed the night my house was filled with smoke, and Sean told me he would place an order for the part and fixed the A/C. Now cool air is flowing out! Couldnt be happier because its supposed to hit 96 degrees in the afternoon. I was somewhat worried after reading many negative comments about the company and Sean, but to me he was very courteous and gave me tips on maintaining A/C unit well. 5 stars for wonderful service. Thank you!

I honestly did not feel that this company had my best interest in mind. Sean came into my home and right off the bat said if my filter or coils were dirty my warranty would not cover for the clean and didnt bother to hear me and my wifes complaint. After about 10 min he left charging me the 65 fee and said to get better insulation for my home. Only giving a 2 stars and 1 just because Sean did give me some pointers.
This is by far the worst service I have ever had! From unprofessional phone calls to bad recommendations of what needed to be fixed. The service tech did not even leave me a list or any tips of forms for my insurance company of what needed to be repaired/replaced. They were always late, without calling to inform me. Today they were to come out and replace my unit and replace the thermostat inside the house. The service tech showed up looking very unprofessional. He informed my husband that they did not bring the right parts but blamed it on the insurance company. They informed me after the tech trained all coolant that they would not finish the repairs today. I asked if I would air conditioning tonight. He said no, I will be back tomorrow. This is seriously unexpectable!! Its 80+ degrees outside. Not to mention I have a newborn and a toddler at home. Being without air conditioning is not reasonable. The service tech was extremely annoyed. He did not say another word to me. I called the boss, who was also unprofessional. He said you are barking up the wrong tree. And kept blaming the issues of the insurance company. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone!
Do not hire this company. The owner has zero respect for the clients. Our home was damaged when putting a new HVAC unit inside our house. Is refusing to fix the damages. How is that for customer service. He is a one man operation. Runs his guys into the ground.

Horrible company! Had two wonderful gentlemen come out to service our home through our home warranty company. The supervisor pulled up a bit later and begins yelling at his employees. After that was said and done, they were supposed to reach out to my warranty company to order the parts. The supervisor was trying to say we needed a $175 part, not covered by our warranty, yet we were never told about it while they were here and my husband was there for the whole diagnostic. I called the supervisor to ask about the situation and he stated, We dont want to service your house. Call your gome warranty and have them send someone else out. and then he hung up on me. This is not a way to treat anyone, especially a family who has been waiting months for them to make it right! I am livid!

Sean gave me a fair price for the evaluation of my A/C. I wish he had an infrared temperature gun to give me an accurate measurement of the cool air.

This technician/manager/owner, Sean Pittman is a scam and a crook. Dont trust anything he says or any of the technician from Comfort Tech AC/ heating that have missing teeth. They came out to diagnose the problem of my ac units and claimed that it was repairable but never used any equipments to diagnose the problems. It was all eye assessments. The tech never opened any screws or panels and I was still charged $65 service fee. I called him out on it and he claimed that it was their time and gas used to come check. What a crock of BS ...this business is out to get as much money as fast as possible. Stay clear from these professional scammers. I will file a formal complaint to BBB. Giving them a 1 star is being way to generous. And btw Sean, next time log in using an alias/anonymous name instead of logging in using your Google account. By portraying to be a customer named Kaleb Long, you just gave yourself away. If your gonna hide, make sure your flashlight is not on, otherwise, youll get caught. Its sad that you even tried to lie, which resulted in incriminating yourself. How embarrassing. ..
I am not one to leave reviews but I am so impressed, we have had several problems with our air conditioner this year, and Sean has always been prompt to come to our rescue. This company has integrity and honest and fair prices.
Our air conditioning went out in the middle of August, and we had to leave the area for four days to stay with friends until this company could repair our unit. The weather in central Texas is too extreme, especially when you have small children, so we had no other choice but to leave town and stay with friends. When we returned, our air conditioning was repaired successfully. Without prior knowledge, I was assessed a fifty dollar service fee in order to activate the warranty needed to replace the motor. I then contacted Sean Pittman (manager/lead technician/previous poster on here), who explained the reason for the fee and also said that he needed a serial number for the new component. I declined to give him the serial number because I was assessed this fee, and I didnt feel compelled to do their job for them. They were invited to come by on their watch to record and report the serial number as needed.When the technician (I dont know if this was Sean or not) showed up to record the number, he conveniently disconnected the units compressor, once again cutting off air conditioning to the house, making it impossible for small children to be comfortable at home. Another company was called out to once again repair the system, which led to further expenses on our end. Upon hearing of the vandalism to our property, I told Shawn that he and his co-workers were no longer to be permitted on my property.His response: You are an idiot. You act and carry yourself like a woman.I was surprised to hear this, and I may go to the Guinness book of World Records to see if I can be the most feminine male apache pilot in history with two combat tours. Maybe I could be more manly if I repaired air conditioning units for a living.When I questioned his integrity, he continued to berate me by telling me to take leadership lessons from my wife. You can draw your own conclusions from here, but I do not recommend conducting business with this organization of low-lifes that will vandalize your property and personally insult you if you expect them to earn their pay.
I paid several different companies over a period of 3 weeks to fix my air condition. Each time i was promised that my unit was repaired and experienced issue after issue until i was referred to Comfort Tech Heat, Air & Refrigeration in Killeen. These guys were professional and quick to make sure my unit was repaired properly and i am so glad to have my unit working.... i have a peace of mind now! This is totally scam! Dont ever call this company!!! This should be deleted for the search site!!! Had service today. I said that our aircon is leaking. Different employee came for two session. The guy who went in the morning said itsvthe coil. Afternoon personel said its also a coil and it need to be clean for $300. Blah blah he cleaned it. I ask if there is anything wrong like the clog is its all gone or clean he guaranteed 100 yes.. He left minute.. Minute later aircon is on oh well its LEAKING!!!!! I aks him to come back to check he said the pipe is broken need to be replace for $75... I ask for service to know whats wrong!!!! Telling me its all good now the PIPE IS BROKEN!!! This is a BS SUPER SCAM!!!!!
Company is a total rip off and scam....were swindled out of 800dollars for reportedly bad compressers when in fact this dude sean was probably sabotaging them...and to top it all off we didnt have air for a whole month!!!!dont see how u can live with your self....reported this company to the BBB.one star is way too generous.....

Do not use this company, once they do the work and concerns are issued to them by the customer they blame everything else but their work, cooling unit did not have power to it according to their tech but I found out that the wires were disconnected what a waste of my time......
