Cool store, had a large selection of used books. I really enjoyed the selection of musical instruments and vinyl records. A lot of decent used and cheaper instruments (they even have their own brand of guitars) that are great for students or anyone expanding their collection.

This book store. This book store is dangerous. Incredibly well organized, great prices, a huge selection of new and used books, and a friendly staff to help you spend your life savings.

Love this place! While it does have an assortment of books and records, it also has a lot of cool little things to look at. This is my go to for little gifts and stocking stuffers.

Bookstore, memorabilia and Pop culture warehouse. HUGE selection of books both new and used, Funko pops, posters, pop culture items so varied would be hard to list them all here. Also a guitar shop and huge anime/ graphic novel section. If you can walk out of her without buying anything, you are a better person than me. Cannot wait to go back ...

Love the deals on movies, books, and comic books here! Most of my movie collection has been supplied by this location. The staff is super nice and helpful and I always love the atmosphere in here. Will be coming back and I hope more come to feed their imagination 🥰

This is a great store, our family (2 tween kids) all like to browse and each can find something of interest. Their used books are always in good condition. My kids like the funko pops, albums and video game swag.

The store is clean and spacious. Theres a lot more than just books here. I went looking for something specific, but they didnt have it. Even still I found other things and my family found some gems too.

Drove an Hr and a half bc was told on the phone they buy comic books, get there to be told we arwnt taking any right now..so one tells you one thing while the other tells you something else..great communication

Love it here. My husband and I regularly plan visits here just to look around. Definitely a lot to see and something for everyone. Vast amount of pop culture related merchandise, comics, music, movies, toys, books, and everything in between.Weve purchased loads of CDs, vinyls, video games, and books over the last several years here. Some new items cost more than other shops, especially brand new vinyls and video games, so just keep that in mind.Make note to bring a bag as they are green. You can also purchase reusable totes while there.

Great book selection… literally everything else they sell is outrageously priced I had to hold my laughter in… they are selling a Nintendo switch… without a dock and the cables thy come with… for full retail price of 299 and it’s used. The guitars are $100 more there than anywhere else.. the collectibles? I can find the same figure they have, at Walmart for cheaper because they bump up the price since it’s “collectible”Go there for the books and movies… go anywhere else for the rest

They try to scam people into a magazine subscription that needs to be cancelled or else you will be charged. The cashier will ask suddenly which free magazine you would like? with little opportunity to say no and no explanation for what youre actually getting yourself into. They give your credit card information, name and whatever other info you give them to some third party company that will most likely sell your info. This is an anti-consumer practice. Take your business to half-price books, GameStop, Barnes and Nobles or any other store that sells similar items.

On the hunt for cheap used books, DVD and CDs (yes..these are still things!)..This is so the spot!It gets better...they have a Free...FREE...Yes, I said it...Free book bin! In my experience it has been located by the outside. It is loaded with goodies! If you hit the right day, get lucky or your intrests are deep enough some of the things you are looking for and a few great gifts are in there!The staff..have been totally amazing!The vibe..its cool! Everyone there including the staff is a geek with an internal radio too...and other super powers!As a begging issue/ personal note.Please...more used vinyl..then this place would be Valhalla!

2 and Charles is the best book store ever. There have so much more than books. They have all kinds of random stuff. Everything you could imagine plus some! If your looking for cool stuff for your house they got it. If you never been to 2 and Charles definitely check it out, you wont disappointed!!

We went to your store today and the sign above the movies said buy 5 get 5 free. now in my opinion, buy 5 get 5 free means you buy 5 and you get 5 for free. the sign did not specify buy 5 get 5 at a discounted price incase you want to return. i was very disappointed when i went to the cashier and i bought 20 movies, thinking i was gonna get 10 for free. my bill was over 100 dollars because i paid full price for 10movies and got the other 10 at a discounted price, which is not free. i went back in and spoke to the cashier and they explained it that they discount the movies incase i want to return any. so in all actuality, i did not receive any free movies. so to me, that is false advertisement and that is against the law. when you put a sign up, you should do what the sign says. you dont change it when customers get to the cashier. thats rude, dishonest, deceitful and i am very disappointed.

Nice helpful staff, the prices are good for the used games and various other accessories. I like having a place to trade in things I wont use for things I still love. They also have a free book bin out front with all sorts of gems of every genre. Its a proverbial nerd heaven, so if you love video/board games, music/musical instruments, anime, books of all nature then I suggest giving 2nd and Charles a shoot.

Great place for books and games and music equipment and more. They also purchase your old books and dvds, games and more. Only issue is they only take certain things but if youre going to donate a bunch of books or movies definitely take them here first because you might have some money in your pocket, then donate whatever they wont buy.

They are a complete joke when it comes to trade and sell. I collect tarot decks aside from books and the employees tried to rip me off when they offered me $3 in store credit and $2 in cash for my most recently bought tarot deck. My tarot deck is still in mint condition but they will pull a Gamestop move on anybody who is desperate enough to sell. Tarot cards come in 78 and they will just turn it around and sell it for the used price. I will never sell them my collection of tarot decks.

Whenever I’m in Harrisburg, I like to drive by and take a peek in the free book bins they put out front sometimes— occasionally, I’ve found some real gems! The bookstore selection is great, and I was impressed by their stock of vintage video games.One word of caution to parents of young kids: this place really goes all out with the gory decorations towards Halloween, so I wouldn’t bring my kids here around October. I brought my little brother around that time of year, and it was horrific for both of us. 😬In a nutshell? Bookstore = great! Halloween decor = please tone it down. Thanks!

Awesome selection and environment, speedy checkout process, reasonable prices

Interesting store for both kids and adults. Surprised to find a large selection of records. Many gadgets and all the kids favorites, slime, poppers, and various character collectables. Book selection was ok but the prices were high considering books are slowly phasing out as most prefer electronic means. Worth a visit as something for everyone.

This place is a cesspool of creative expression and interest. A representation of the dying small shops of America. If you have any soul, you’ll avoid this place like the plague. The employees are akin to mindless zombies, and the store clearly benefits from the impoverished needing a few dollars to work or sell their treasured knowledge or items. Drive a little further to a comic/record/book shop and save your soul.

Visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The large selection of books is exactly what I needed for a day like that. Not packed with other people, which was a shame. Any of the media they have in stock would satisfy almost anyone.

Definitely more than meets the eye. Its a hodgepodge of new and used books, games, puzzles, video games, and pop culture collectibles. The book wall in the middle is a neat focal point of the store. They also, almost as an afterthought have a collection of acoustic and electric guitars, and...violins and ukuleles. Website specifically states what it will buy and sell. Cassette tapes were not one of them. Well be back when we have a little more time to look. 30 minutes was simply not enough.

I wasnt aware if this place until my friend brought me, but the variety of items and books they sell rivals that if other stores including the big chains. I am also happy that they buy things and give them a chance to find new homes versus just being discarded.

This was an AMAZING store!! Lots dvds, action figures . instruments, shirts anything you can think of!!! I spent over an hour in this store!
