One of the best ice cream we ate. The cookie cream is just fantastic. The only ice cream we eat in Harrisburg from now on. This place deserves a Micheline star or two.

Cute little place with great ice cream! If youve ever been to Little Babys (rip) in Philly, theyre similar in the sense that there are unique, rotating flavors along with the usual chocolate and vanilla. Well definitely be coming back sometime to see whats new.

Unique flavors! Definitely a must have to get great ice cream thats creamy and smooth. Cant wait to go back to try some other kinds. I got the salted caramel afratato? Basically the coffee with ice cream whipped cream and honey. Really enjoyed it!

It is unfortunate that whenever we visit the area, Urban Churn was closed. Did I mention how good Urban Churn is? Hands down the best ice cream. I hope they do well and stay in business.

YUM! visited for the first time on national ice cream day. Inventive flavors with fantastic housemade waffle cones! Chocolate was great and their sea salt caramel is also fantastic. Very fresh flavors and the taste of the ingredients shines through clearly. Big scoops too! Affordable

The gentleman working that evening ran out of milk and literally ran nextdoor to get it so he could complete our order. Probably one of the best, if not the best, milkshakes my wife and I have ever had in our lives. If you want a treat for a unbelievable price please try this place. Easily one of Harrisburgs best kept secrets. Cant believe he doesnt have and endless line going around the block.

Fantastic Ice Cream - love the environment in the Market, and the flavor selection is so unique and fun. The photo was scrapple ice cream with maple syrup - it was DELICIOUS.

Urban Churn has the best ice cream in Harrisburg and Ill die on this hill. We go here often for ice cream and have never been disappointed. They have a shop in Broad Street Market and a cute store right up on 3rd Street. If you cant find the flavor you want at the Market, I highly recommend visiting the store front because they will most likely have it there. The waffle cones are def worth the extra cost because theyre freshly made in-house and are out of this world delicious. Also, the owner is incredibly nice and helpful if you have any questions about the ice cream flavors (or other dessert items) I highly recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth!

If you like ice cream you will love Urban Churn!! Also make sure to check out the unique flavors through out the year. Some of my favorites are PB & Pickle and Sauerkraut. Great small business in the burg!!

Delicious, truly “from scratch” locally-made ice cream right in Harrisburg. The owner is very creative with flavors and has great attention to detail to create great products. While it may be a little more expensive than some other ice cream options, it is worth it to support a local small business that uses wholesome ingredients to make delicious, hand-crafted products. For the quality and flavor it is very affordable. Great for families and easy to find on 3rd Street or at the Broad Street Market.

New ice cream spot that just opened up across the street from the Boost Mobile store. I really enjoy their ice cream and the owner is extremely friendly. they do have a spot in the broad Street market as well but I prefer to come to this location. The interior design is very relaxing and rustic which I like. I have never had an affogato with cold brew before here and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend trying it with the Honey lemon lavender ice cream. Which honey lemon lavender as an ice cream flavor is quite possibly the best ice cream Ive ever had in my life. Keep up the great work!

If you drive around Harrisburg, youll notice the plethora of creamery signs. It wets the appetite just enough to make you crave ice cream the moment you arrive in the city. If you can relate, rush to Urban Churn inside one of Americas oldest markets, Broad Street Market.If you enter the main market entrance, its the first stand to your right. They sell out fast so make sure you go when they first open on the weekend. They have a few usual flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and Oreo, but then add a few other flavors to mix it up like their spicy ice cream. At first, it sounds odd, but the combination of the spice and sweet really pop...in an addicting way.Where I was disappointed was in their baklava ice cream sandwich. If you LOVE baklava, its for you, but if you like ice cream more than baklava, skip it. For $5 you get a cup of a giant baklava with a very thin strand of vanilla ice cream in the middle. After a few bites, it was too baklava forward for my palate.Still, if you love ice cream, Urban Churn is a staple when in Harrisburg.

Great local business! Love the homemade, hand-churned icecream. Tried one of the specialty treats, it was fabulous! Will definitely go back. They always have a few regular flavors and then add special/seasonal flavors every so often. Frequent visits are a must so you dont miss a flavor.

Ice cream was incredible. Service was quick and very friendly. Whole family loved it.i recommended one of the Affogatos its like a root beer float but with coffee. Only complaints, place was a bit small and it had a strange smell you couldnt ignore.

The classic flavors are always creamy and richly flavored, and if youre brave, you can try some more out-there flavors (my favorite to date has to be the one with lavender in it). Always delicious, generous portion sizes, and the employees are always friendly and kind. If you fall in love with a flavor, you can also buy a pint and take it home!

Under whelming after the great things weve heard about Urban Churn. Small flavor selection with some unique combinations however nothing really appealed to us. Location smelled sour on the night of our visit.

We came here because of the ice cream trail. I heard a lot of hype and was excited to try it. Unfortunately I was not too impressed. There was not a lot of variety of different flavors. Besides the basic vanilla or chocolate, when we went, there was mayo and creamed corn. Its a cute place when youre in town, but didnt have the variety I was expecting.

Urban Churn is a great place to stop and get some ice cream. They have many unique flavors and the pricing is fair. The only downside is that the seating area is very small.

Great, new, local ice cream shop that hand churns their ice cream from fresh artisanal ingredients. They have 8 different flavors every week and always have a few very original ones. They also make milkshakes from any flavor you like.

I like the flavor of the ice cream, but overpriced for the amount of stuff in the ice cream. Cookie dough is like getting vanilla ice cream. Chocolate pretzel is like getting chocolate, etc..

Very rich smooth homemade icecream with some flavors (like corn and mayo) you dont find anywhere else. This was stop #3 on my PA icecream tour (you have to get your paper stamped to get the T-shirt at the end). These folks also have a stand at the West end of the Hbg Broadstreet Market. The main store is a couple blocks down the street, South of the BSM.

I took 4 pints of different Urban Churn flavors to a cookout, and it was a huge hit as everyone tried them all. I just wish I brought 6 pints - we usually dont leave much room for dessert, but this ice cream was devoured.
