Was once a great place to do business. But there is now a problem with the service department when a returning customer of ten + years can’t get an appointment for a simple oil change on a car that I bought there. Not sure what changed but no doubt they’ll blame COVID. Maybe they just need to work some overtime or hire some more mechanics. Opening up on Saturday would help. Hopefully the Ford dealer in Mountain Home can change oil.
Appears to be a decent dealership. However, why is it not called Harrison Ford? Missed opportunity really.
My family went here to look for, (not buy at the moment) a new car. All was good until we went inside, and they were clearly trying to make us buy a car today and not consider other dealers, but the worst thing was they tried to run a credit check, without asking. They also tryed to get us to sign things, but we just had started searching and did not want to commit to buying a car that day, and we even told them that.
Had set up an appointment to test drive a vehicle. Was called immediately by C.M. for a confirmation the night that I had set it up. Told them that I lived about 45 miles away and confirmation was confirmed.I was called the day of the appt. right before we left for it (by Clay Maxey Dealership) for confirmation and again I confirmed it. We got there early and was told that it had just sold 20 minutes before we arrived.I do understand that they are there to sell cars but why the hell have test drive appts. that YOU dont or cannot keep?We have a Clay Maxey about 5 miles from me and we asked the night they called for a confirmation if they would bring it over here and we were laughed at, I guess for even asking that.
Not impressed with them or there power sports service
We have are service done there its always a great experience but their body shop leaves much to be desired they worked on our pickup some years ago and now there handy work is showing where they put a rusted out fender on and didnt address the steering problems and failed to put pin stripes back on the area they painted and the clear coat is peeling so dont go to fords body shop its just not worth the money.
Good selection of new and used cars and trucks in stock.
Service dept. Is always fast and attentive to my needs. I would recommend Clay Maxey for your service needs..
I have done business with these people many times. I have bought 3 vehicles from them and even highly recommended them to my own mother. Which she even made a purchase from them. Not many places where the owner themselves will come out and greet you personally. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Their customer service is also top notch. They have earned my business .
We saw an ad online and were 15 hour drive away. Everything went smoothly, even though we were out of states. Everyone there was polite, accommodating and efficient.
Good people, good prices and great cuatomers.
Great service ! And even pleased the kids with a popsicle !
Always friendly and have always treated me right as far as repairs and such
My sister took her Ford Escape in complaining about a noise from under the vehicle and the vehicle not starting sometimes. When she picked the vehicle up after the SECOND time they told her they could not find anything wrong on either issue AGAIN. She took the vehicle to another (real) mechanic. He put it on a lift and immediately found a big problem. Several FEET of bale twine were wrapped around the drive shaft and had ripped the seal out of the rear-end. Somehow Clay Maxeys mechanics didnt spot a massive wad of plastic twine obviously wrapped around the shaft. Guess that didnt show up on a computer scan so they missed it. DUH! There is no way anyone there ever actually looked under the Escape. A photo of the driveshaft is attached to this post. They could not of missed seeing that if they had actually looked under the vehicle!
I took my truck in for a small repair when I got it back the light was on it was in worse shape that was when I took it in had to take it to a reliable honest dealership which this place is not if you value honesty and the value of your truck or car do not go here
Very good Dan was very helpful
Always takes good care of me
My company needed two F-150’s with specific trim levels and specifications on short notice (2 days) and Clay Maxey Ford delivered.John Wray II did a phenomenal job finding us the right vehicles for the right price, working with our trade ins, and coordinating logistics to have them in Fayetteville by Friday afternoon! John Wray II and Clay did an amazing job with communicating with our VP & CEO both being out of state and made everything run smoothly.I had the opportunity to work for Clay Maxey Ford while I was in high school and I’m just as impressed with them now, if not more than I was 4 years ago. Can’t wait to buy some more trucks soon!
I have bought 2 (used) vehicles from Clay Maxey now. Both times we were able to get the vehicle we wanted in our budget. The salesman for our last purchase was Eric and he was straightforward and fair. The last vehicle we bought there needed an alignment and new battery, both of which were taken care of for us. I will definitely try Clay Maxey for my next purchase.
They were super friendly, easy to deal with, and knowledgeable. They made the buying process very easy. The staff was very knowledgeable. I can not say enough about how impressed I am with this dealership.
If you go here to look at a vehicle ask for Matt. Hes awesome and will answer any questions in a friendly manor.
This was my second time using the service department for my F-350 diesel truck and I was very pleased. They even loaned my wife and I a car to go eat lunch and my truck was done upon my return. I appreciate friendly staff that makes an attempt to show customer appreciation and respect. I will return again in the future with hopes of more of the same.
Friendly staff extremely helpful and clean
They offer you drinks and stuff while youre waiting and they have wonderful vehicles you can count on them
Just wanted them to tell the the code for my Ford that was showing a check engine light. She said I had to make an appointment and that it would be $89... To tell me the engine code, no thanks.
They got me in quick since I was out of town and traveling. But they replaced the wrong hose. I had to pay again when I got home to have the correct hose replaced.
Great place to buy and service our Ford edge
Would not recommend. This ford will lie and cheat you just to make a dollar. John is sleezy and will tell you one thing just let you hear what you want for the time being.
Quick fast service from the Service Department.Had a water pump go bad. And they had it in and in less than 24 hours.
Had blowout in our motorhome that did damage to brakes, airbag etc and was towed to Clay Maxie. They had to order parts and allowed us to stay by facility with a 110 plug in the first night. Helped us find a motel for a couple nights while RV was in the shop. Provided transportation to motel etc and worked with insurance company for repairs. Everyone was very nice and helpful while we waited for repairs.
I took my Pilot in for repairs after a deer jumped out in front of me. Job well done!! Something was forgotten and was immediately made right. Josh and all the folks in the collision center KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! THANKS AGAIN!!
I just bought a car from Clay Maxey Ford for the first time. It was a completely seamless experience. The staff was very attentive and organized. Everyone there was ready to help and so friendly! I recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car!
We have taken several of our vehicles to them for service. They do great work and in a good time frame. Dealership service centers are always a little higher than other shops, but you are getting trained mechanics and guaranteed work, not to mention quality parts. The people are knowledgeable and friendly.
I am very disappointed in your service department. I brought my Nissan Altima in for an oil change and was told I needed new back brakes on my car. I gave the okay to have the brakes changed. After I left you garage there was a noise coming from the rear end of my car (the brake area) so I took the car back to your service department and was told that the brakes were put on just fine and that there was nothing wrong with them. The next time I needed an oil change I took the car to Wood Nissan and they also said there was nothing wrong with my back brakes. The noise continued. The last time I went to Wood Nissan for an oil change they said that I needed NEW back brakes. I decided to take the car to Main Street Garage on Goblin Drive and when they looked at my brakes they found that they had been installed wrong and that they had not been lined up properly. I did not need new brakes as Nissan suggested and your service department did not install the brakes properly the first time. The car probably did not need new brakes then either. It would have been nice of the serviceman to believe me when I said they were making a noise. I am very disappointed in both Clay Maxey Ford and Wood Nissan Motors and will not suggest that anyone use your service departments. I was told that anytime a person takes their car in to be serviced by you both they are always told that something else needs attention. I dont believe that more work needs done and feel your company is trying to bleed the customers. Linda Wheeler
I wrecked my Jeep and of course took it to Clay Maxey in Harrison. Josh Criner did an amazing job getting the parts and labor under the amount to satisfy my insurance company. The Collision team did a great job and Tori was outstanding taking care of my phone calls and assuring me that everything would be taken care of. Thank you all very much!!
Great experience with the collision center and body shop! We dealt with Josh Criner! Vehicle went in looking totaled came out looking like a brand new truck! Very happy with our service!
This was the quickest and easiest purchase I have ever experienced. Absolutely no pressure when I said I wanted to leave tk think about buying a car. When I did return, I was on my way in 30 minutes with a new car. Everyone very friendly & accommodating. Will definitely return for my next vehicle.
I was curious as to why this dealership had one of the lowest ratings in town and now I know. I pulled onto the lot just looking around and no one ever greeted me. They may have seen my older car but thats still no way to treat customers! I seen 2 people on a buggy on top of the hill just talking? Even though I was just looking I will never come here to buy a car and never recommend anyone to come here.
5 stars are for the 2 guys who delivered the truck. 5 stars for Millard the salesman.
Always curtious and do a great job on repairs
Fast friendly service. Got car serviced. Called and got same day service
Great service. Matt immediately started searching and pricing for us when we told him what we needed. Great communication and help even after purchase complete. Thanks Matt!
I have bought several vehicles from Bill Thomas at Clay Maxey.. They have always done an awesome excellent job getting me into the vehicle I want.. Very friendly, and the best at what they do..👍
Never and I repeat NEVER buy a car from Clay shyster Maxey. Their cars are ridiculously over priced and not worth the money. Big regret on purchasing a vehicle from them. Tail light was out, headlight went out a couple days later, the slot where you plug in your phone adapter was not secure and was told the oil had been changed when a week later my oil change light came on and had to get one. Tried to return it and they would not let me return it and they will call members of your family and let them know. They did that to me when no member of my family ever signed for nothing on the car. Bunch of sorry excuse of people there. Even sold me a warranty that I was never told I would have to pay a deductible on. They wouldnt even figure in my out of state sales tax-what kind of backwoods dealer does that? Lesson learned, should have stayed in my own state and bought my vehicle. I know I found the same one two days later $4000 cheaper. All i can say is youve been warned. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
Ran my credit at least six times and lowered my credit score Ive worked so hard on! Didnt even have the courtacy to call me back after they said they would let me know if I was approved or not on an overpriced truck! 👎🏻
Bought a truck from here drove off the lot and it started having problems right away, died and now stuck with a truck with who knows what kind of problems . more money down the drain . very nice workers but obviously not very honest and just wanna make a sell . don’t recommend at all!!!!!!
Good group of guys that will give you the best deal possible.
Nice man
I was very disappointed in our car buying experience. The salesman showed us a handwritten offer which we agreed to. When we sat down to sign the paperwork the offer was not the same. When we objected they used high pressure tactics to get us sign. They also put gas in our diesel car and then didnt tell us until we had already signed the paperwork. We will never use that dealership again.
Friendly staff nice waiting room
They worked with me until I got what I wanted it wasnt just about them getting a sell it was about what I wanted very happy.
If you have a ford this is the place to go they are worth every dollar you spend and they stand behind everything they do and more A1
Clay is super friendly. Family oriented, worked hard to get us a great deal on a car.
Harrison lot is ok.
Good people selling good new and used cars. As always, do your research prior to as well as during your transaction to get what you want. They will work with and for you. Tim Kinzer was our salesperson.
Great dealership. Good service. Honest people.
They helped me get out of my horrible purchase from Yeagers motors and put me in a almost brand new car for the same payments. Blake is awesome as well as Mr Maxey himself, they worked for two days to help out of the piece of junk that Yeagers stuck me with!!! I wish there were a 10 star rating because they would get it from me.
Real good folks down there the service department is great very helpful
Awesome as usual. Car was fixed as promised and for a good price.
Good service, they will work with you.
Wow!!!! Is all I can say. They are fantastic in used sales dept.
Poor food, poor service
Only place I buy a vehicle
Have my oil changed and other services. People are really nice and understanding.
Husband brought a truck in to have serviced a company truck at that they told him oil needed changed along with the issue that he brought it in for they had it almost a week he gets it back and only to find out on his way to work that the engine light comes on and the issue that he brought it in for us still not fixed and he checks the oil thinking maybe there wasn’t enough to find out the oil is burn very black with a new sticker saying it was changed how clay maxey gets away with this idk but they need to be investigated this is not the only time dealings have happened my son in law has had issues and still is I would watch out it you will end up with a vehicle you can not drive because they want to procrastinate getting you the title to get a tag or the vehicle will blow up cause they failed to change the oil
I stopped in to look at a used miata. I booked the car at edmunds, kbb, and nada. It came back 5400, 5700, 5700. Ok, 2 out of three say 5700 bucks. Figured it was ok with me. Next, I book my vehicle. It books 7800 trade and 10800 retail. Figure Ill get close to 7800. Cool, right? I get there for a scheduled appointment and the car isnt there. I have to wait 10-15 minutes for them to find it. The car looked like a pretty decent car. I got to drive it a little. No problems. Now we go to talk money. They didnt even have the car priced. He hops online, books the car. His figures match mine. He then asks me for 7200 for the miata and eventually offers me 4000 for mine. He also tried to push to make the deal happen today. Insane. He was aware I had booked everything. He made it obvious he had not prepared at all. Then he insults my intelligence thinking I will give him way over book and take half book for mine. It really felt like they believed I was dumb and they were doing me a favor by offering to rob me. No thanks.
Always friendly, at the service desk,Josh & the crew in the auto- bodyAre great !
The first time I went in to get my keyless entry programmed I had a pleasant experience. Cause they knew how. The 2nd time I was offended the second I walked through the door. Dark haired older lady writing service tickets was a witch. She was rude and down right mean, almost like she was going out of her way to help me. Finally got issue solved $200 later over a key program that was never programmed. Got charged for it anyhow. Guess what time for a new Ford F-250 but it wont be from Clay Maxeys Ford and dont worry mean old lady you will never have to go out of your way to help me again.
Friendly staff eager to help any way they can
Fast work on truck repair with exact match. Thank you.
Top of the line service EVERY time!
Waaaaay too much to describe my review. Its about 2 pages worth of negative experiences. Seriously. I called the attorney general and did a transcript of everything I went through and it was 2 pages.Ive heard A LOT of my friends had similar complaints
Good service, friendly staff & good value
They sell cars
My faimly has been buying cars and trucks from them since they opened! In the last year my extended faimly has bought three new vehicles from them.THEN THEY STOLED $1,000 IN TOOLS OUT OF MY UNCLES TRUCK WHEN HE TRADED IT IN ON A NEW ONE. I COULD GO ON ABOUT THIS BUT I WISH MY UNCLE WOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE ON THEM! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN!THEY ARE A BUNCH OF thieving dirtbags !
Friendly and want you to be Satisfied
Got new truck love it
Jet Maxey great employee
Wont hold to their word and the insurance for extended warranty is worthless! Will never advise anyone to buy from them and will never repeat business with them either.
These guys supposedly fixed my truck yesterday but as I drove out of the parking lot, i noticed he didnt really fix it. Im frustrated and disappointed. I hope they handle it well when I finally get in touch with them.Another thing - they have zero people answering the phone in the morning. I had to leave a message, and I doubt they will call me back. Ill update the post later. Wish me luck.
They always try to work with us even if we cant come to a deal.
No place any better! Drive 10 hrs just to do business with these awesome people!
Absolutely dissapointed with my car deal. Im now buried in a car worth half the price I bought it for, didnt get paperwork for 3 months and cant even get rid of the car.
Do not go here! They will screw you over BIG time.
Helpful friendly gives good deals.
Worst people iv ever dealt with. all do not care about the customer at all!all they care about is getting as much as money they can get from you.
I could not be more pleased with the collision repair provided by Clay Maxey Ford Collision.
Stopped and got my oil changed while visiting this town.
Great place to buy a Ford truck.
Great people with super customer service
Took care of my issues right away and very friendly.
The best place to buy a car
Quick and efficient service from the service department
Great customer service!
Charged me 63 bucks for an oil change due to a price increase. When it wasnt even 40 bucks a month and a half ago.No thanks.
Not their fault, trucks cost more than houses.
They are always very helpful when I have a problem with my Ford focus
Service center tried to sell unnecessary work.
