I was recently in a situation that ruined a headlight. Rather than pay nearly $400 for a new assembly, we purchased a used one from a salvage yard. While it worked, and was sufficient, it was so dingy that the plastic literally looked milky in places, making the light it emitted very dim. I took a chance on the $25 headlight restoration at the Auto Care Center, not having much hope for a clear lens afterward. I was amazed! The final result was *almost* as good as the opposite side! The lens is crystal clear, and the light is bright now. I highly recommend this service, and thank you to whichever technician fixed my light! Be prepared, it is a lengthy procedure...they use various grit buffing discs to carefully remove the dingy layer, and they cant rush it, or they will ruin the light. I think that both headlights took about 40-45 minutes.
2 hours to change 2 tires when I was the only one in the shop. Watched a guy try to balance 1 tire 26 times. Add weight then take them off. Finally had a manager pull him off it abd get someone else before there was a hole in the sidewall. On the way home the truck was all over the place so something wasnt done correctly. Going to have someone check it later that actually knows what the hell there doing. Would never let anyone I know risk this place
The worst tire buying experience of my life. I have a lifted vehicle with oversized tires so I verified with the shop BEFORE ordering them to make sure they could mount them. I was told by everyone in the shop that it would be fine. Ordered tires online, arrived on time, showed up for the scheduled installation to be told their balancer was on its last leg and couldnt balance the tires. They told me to take them to another shop to have the mounted and balanced, and I was then informed that doing so would void the warranty. I asked about returning them and after much discussion I was toldit will be fine, well get them mounted. An hour later I was called back to the tire center to see my vehicle sitting there with the original tires still on, and an entirely new person informed me they couldnt balance the tires. I asked if I could get them mounted there and have them balanced later to at least get back on the road. I was told that would be fine(any other shop would have outsourced it by now and had me on my way) only to be told 10 minutes later that their machine would probably shred the tire. After 2 and a half hours I left the shop without any tires and the parting gift of the information that the refund will take at least 5 days to clearand Ill have to wait a week before I can order from anothershop and start all over. If you have anything other than a stock vehicle with stock wheels DO NOT go to this shop, youll waist a full day and youll still be leaving without tires and a weeks hold on your tire money.
That place is terrible, I was told that they couldnt fix my tire because the rim was bent then I asked if they put air in my tire and was told yes, but they didnt. I spend a lot of money their. That place sucks!!!!
Very professional and took care of our needs. I would definitely recommend this place.
VERY helpful and informative staff at this location! Ive been to other Walmart Auto Centers that have not been as friendly. These guys were open and honest about me needing new tires, and were great in helping me pick out what brand! If I didnt live so far away, I would come here all the time!
Professional, Friendly, Convenient.
We showed up 8 minutes to close with a blown dually tire and the wonderful folks that work here were wer to get us on the road again!!! Thank you so much... It had been a really hard day but yall made it so much better. Cant thank you enough!!
Fast and courteous!
Paid thru the nose for the cheapest tires they had, then had to go to another shop to have em put on!!!
Quick service!!!
Showed up at 8:30am to get an oil change on Sunday. I was told it would be 2.5 to 3 hours before they could even get to me. Not a very efficient place. Need more technicians. Need better manager.
Long waits clearly due to understaffing, but they also skimp on cars. They say they check air filter, put air in tires. All lies, ma’am we aired your tires up all to 33psi... yet they are all sitting at 27... hmmm Now wondering if they even ever change the oil... or just say they do. Won’t be going back and will be telling everyone about the lack of customer service. Wasn’t even allowed to talk to a manager, so I’ll call corporate. Shameful
Short handed on people so the wait is there. But the workers do their best and I appreciate that!!
I went at 7 this morning and they only had one tech and Ed he was hard working should get a raise
Stuck at Wal-Mart on my birthday (on Sunday) with 2 kids and 2 hour wait time to fix a flat tire.......not exactly the ideal way to spend the day. The awesome service manager stepped in himself and helped get us outta there!! Even if it was for his sanity haha its still a big thank you!
Great service and value.
Not thrilled with them. Bought 4 new tires & had them put on. They made a note about back passenger tire wheel being bent & they had a hard time getting it to seal. I found that odd because the old tire never lost air or went flat. But just 2 days after the new tires were put on, the back passenger tire went flat.
This place is a joke. To repair a flat tire 2hours!!!! They must charge an hourly labor rate for flat repairs. Do you have a one armed and one legged man workin in there or what? Next time just run with it flat
Came in 2 weeks in a row 1 person working multiple hours before you can get in the shop! Waste of a drive in! Manager obviously hasnt got a clue how to staff the place.
Josh in the Tire Center is a lifesaver! Kept me updated on what was happening with my Jeep and explained everything in dumb dumb terms so I could understand. :)
Just stopped to have a tire repaired on special order Mickey Thompson Ats. Tire shop found giant chunk missing on bead. called to talk to store manager...was hung up on. i could have been killed based on this defect and they dont care. not to mention being out 1000 bucks on tires with 10k miles on them
Stranded on highway 71 with a blown tire on my trailer and need to have an emergency mounted to my rim. sorry we take everybody first come first serve 1.5 hour is the wait... For one tire?!?!NTB in Raymore did the job for us in less than 10 minutes!
Great experience! Great customer service!
Very friendly staff they even reset the oil change computer
Not enough staff waited 4 hours for 4 new tires and piles change.
This place blows
Good place to buy tires
The older guy that works the counter is a smart a** and not very customer friendly, not mention that it took an hour to get to a flat tire.
Y is it always a 3-4 hour wait. Even at 7 am
Worst place ever, understaffed and ALWAYS a 2 to 3 hour wait! Been there for the past 5 weeks and always the same, only 2 mechanics, only 2 bays open will be at least a 3 hour wait! And this was at 8 am. Slow workers and they just don’t care!
It took 2 hours, which I expected, so I shopped and by the time I was finished, so were they.
Horrible!!! Slow. 3 hour oil change, tech was supper slow. Never again will I bring my vehicles to Walmart. Manager needs fired. Wal-Mart sucks!!!!
Fast and competent
Not the best
Got tires for boyfriends truck. Received friendly service. They were not very busy so it didnt take but about 1 hour to get vehicle in and done.It was a very good experience.
