Eric at Fountain City Motors was great to work with. I drove three hours to look at the vehicle and it was even better than the pictures. They let us take the vehicle out on our own around the town to do any testing/inspections of our own. Once I got back to the dealership I asked Eric if he could put it on the lift so that I could check the undercarriage, wheel bearings, front end, etc. Once he did this, I knew that he wasn’t trying to hide any problems with the vehicle. When you get a salesman that will go out of their way to do this for you it really says something about them and the operation they run. After everything checked out with the vehicle, Eric and I sat down to make a deal. There was no pressure and Eric worked with me on the price until we came to an agreement. Eric and Fountain City Motors are great and honest people to work with. I would highly recommend them!

Prices were mediocre at best. Theres no room for negotiation. Theres tons of lots you can get a better price with that can make a better deal in my opinion. I asked about other vehicles and never got a call when they came back.

I live over two hours away and after several days via messaging no deal was struck. However the sheer honesty and work this dealer put in to just look for me and see what could be done was amazing. I was in search of a car that was a manual. I’m a truck driver and spotted one on Craigslist. They I wasn’t going to be able to just swing by but I didn’t want to lose the car as it looked like a good deal. After covering most everything over the phone we both agreed that I would put some non-refundable money down so they would hold the car tell I got there.As a prior car salesman myself, I was looking for all the little “scams” that one would do in order to sell a car.. well I showed up a little late 1835 and the still worked with me. Travis stayed tell I was was done. No “smoking mirrors”, absolute straight shooters nothing but high class professionalism! They gave me more then what I was willing to take for my trade-in the first time. I’ve been to small car lots before and was very concerned at first about dealing with “a small used car lot”.Next time I’m in the market, this is the first place I’m going to! Hands down!

This was by far the most phenomenal vehicular sales experiences I have ever encountered. Travis made the process not only enjoyable, but seamlessly efficient and speedy. Had the vehicle for one year, on the way to work it overheated had a tough time getting it there and then home that night, but did without blowing the motor. Took it to have it looked at as it had no fluid and took two gallons. Found out there was a small hole in the radiator and it had been previously fixed with a radiator fix that had not been worked well. So they knew it had a hole and chose to fix it that way. Dont buy from them, are crooks. Several other problems such as ball joints and an arm. One year, and already throwing money in it.

They were very accommodating. I bought a 11 year old used manual transmission car so that I could learn how to drive stick, and they were willing to drive it over to the auto shop so that the car could be checked up since they claimed it was “mechanically perfect”. It turns out it was true! They also helped me set up financing and I was able to get it at a decent APR. The entire time I did not feel that I was being pressured and they were very nice. I bought the vehicle at a fair price according to KBB.

The most fabulous experience I had ever had at a used car lot

Editing my original review because of problems I’ve had right after my 30 day warranty expired, was told the car was in perfect shape but right when I got there to buy it none of the electric locks worked and have to be changed, and that was only the first thing we’ve noticed, within two months we’ve racked up around 3,000 + in repairs including having to completely change the transmission, mechanic said was in horrible shape and had metal flakes in it, spent everything I had on the car and these repairs have left me without a car because it can not run without a new transmission, not saying they knew about all the problems when they sold it to me, but absolutely no way they thought it was in “perfect condition” will not be returning here,

Great service and attention to what I was looking for. Prepped the car and worked to my schedule for buying the car.

Didnt close a deal but Eric was straightforward with me. If they had the right vehicle for me, Id try again.
