Today was my first appointment with Dr. Klein and everything about my visit was positive. The check in process as a new patient was very easy and the entire staff was terrific. Dr. Klein is very personable and what I thought was great is that he gave me a chance to sit at the computer and to look at my phone to make sure I could see both of them clearly as my contact prescription is for reading from one eye and distance from the other eye which can be tricky. I highly recommend this office and everyone that works there!

I am forever thankful for Vickie, the Site Manager at the Harrisonville office! I called today at 1pm with a concern of my 5 years old swelling shut, and she got me an appointment within an hour as she could hear my concerns and worry with my daughter. She gave me several appointment options and got me in to the most convenient location for me quickly! I am so thankful she was able to get me seen quickly with Dr. Gum who also did an amazing job, to ease my mind and know that healing is ahead for her Stye! :)

Walked in to get an exam and glasses. When told price of exam, I asked What if Im also buying glasses here? She repeated prices, expanding on what she had said, adding If you want to go to (then started naming the other places in Harrisonville that do eye exams) then you get what you pay for. I would say not very professional at all downgrading the eye places that actually work with people on price. No need to get rude about other places because this employee thinks youre the best vision place around. Time 1154 on 01 March 2021

Everything went smoothly the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Close to home and a place to take the whole family. Their selection of frames is why they lost a star. The selection is limited and the majority of whats there are name brand pricey frames.

The entire staff besides the Dr was not friendly or personable towards me. They were very friendly with the other customers but were a little rude towards me. I didnt feel welcome and I felt judged.However the Doctor was amazing. She was very friendly and answered my questions thoroughly without acting annoyed, like the man who got my information before the doctor saw me.i would not go back there ever again if it wasnt for the Doctor. I cant say enough about how friendly, professional and knowledgeable she was as well as her bedside manner.I recommend Discover Vision in Harrisonville MO only because of her. She is fabulous and more than makes up for the poor experience I had with her staff.

I just took my 12-year-old daughter there to get seen for her eyes. Dr. Farah was so sweet and I’m so glad that we found a good vision center to take my children to. The staff was all amazing and very nice I recommend to anyone.

This is second trip (two cataracts) to Discover Vision. Both times felt very comfortable, very well taken care of by staff & Nurses & by Dr. Dehning. All facilities in good & very clean condition. Would give 5 star recommendation.

Ive been going here for at least 5 years. The staff is always extremely friendly and the facilities are nice and clean. I love going there as well as my daughter. Great experience every time and they always get the perfect pair of glasses and contacts for me.

I was greeted and registered immediately. As I was talking to the Receptionist the Tech came out to get me for my exam. He completed a very good exam and checked my glasses. Dr. Vogel came in and completed a very extensive exam and gave me the results. Discover Vision is a great place and I love going there. My husband and I go together, I picked out some new frames, if I needed a new prescription while I was waiting. My husband was taken back first and I was taken back shortly after. We had a very nice person check us before we saw the doctor. Everything was handle very efficiently and I ordered my new glasses after my appointment, my husbands eyes hadnt changed much and he didnt need glasses. We were very happy with our visit.

Dr. Vogel always gives me the most personal and professional examination. He is very thorough and takes his time, he never rushes me. Ill keep going to him.

This office was close to where we live. The office staff was very friendly and not a long wait at all. Very impressed with the person who checked vision. Dr Vogel was very knowledgeable and found a problem with my cornea and had his office schedule an appointment with a specialist. That was very encouraging to me. I had heard good reports of the Discover Vision Center in Harrisonville so that where I went and what people told me was true. Everybody is pleasant and easy to work with. I am also hard of hearing and they all spoke loud enough I could understand what they saying which is extremely important to me. Dr. Dehning explained my condition so I knew what the problem was with my eyes and what was needed to treat it. The nurses are also great. I had an eye exam yesterday and everything went well. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. The technician was very courteous, capable, and a professional. Dr. Vogel was his normal self providing a quality eye exam and a friendly conversation. I picked out a new pair of glasses and am happy with that service and transaction. I will continue to go to Dr. Vogel and I would recommend him to others.

My experience with Dr Vogel and everyone else in this office was great! He took his time and was very thorough during my exam and even took the time to call and speak with my Oncologist about an issue Im having. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Vogel is very thorough, listens to concerns and questions and provides solid answers. Also, my technician, David, was extremely knowledgeable and better than any other technician in memory.

All the staff are very professional. Dr. Taylor gives in depth personalize care. He also send you home with a favorite recipe just for fun!

Wow....Ive been a Discover Vision customer for YEARS, as a long as you dont have a problem, all is good. Look out if you do. You will be treated like you have the pleg... My glasses lenses separated, letting a film develop you couldnt clean off. To bad, youve had them over three years, your OUT. It doesnt matter that 6 months ago I had my eyes checked by them and was told I didnt need new glasses... Never the less you will be fine if you dont have a problem, if you do, dont expect them to stand behind their product......Not a good place to buy your glasses.

Dr. Vogel is very thorough and makes sure all of your questions and concerns are met.

Always have to wait a half hour after appointment time. The doctor punctured my mothers eye during surgery leaving her temporarily blind and lasting pain. I wouldnt recommend to anyone.

I do NOT recommend going to the Discover Vision in Harrisonville.When I called and made an appointment, I provided my insurance information and was informed they accepted it. When I took my son in for his appointment, I provided my insurance and Vicky informed me the visit was fully covered and there would be no payment.The assistant and Dr. Vogel were nice enough, but had difficulty with my 5 year old so couldn’t do a full eye exam and recommended I take him to a pediatric eye doctor next year. When I scheduled the appointment and informed them my son is difficult, I was told the doctor was great with kids. They did their best but if you have young kids, I recommend you go elsewhere.My frustration and disappointment came when I recieved a $125 bill from them! (That is more than taking my son to urgent care and they didn’t do a full eye exam.) I called to ask why I received a bill when I was told it was covered, wanting to know why they didn’t tell me they charged it through my sons Medical insurance and not through the vision insurance. I was then informed they don’t accept my vision insurance and that the medical insurance had told them at my appointment that it would cost me since my deductible had not been met. That’s shafty business practice to not inform people of what their bill will be when they know before the appointment, and to not tell people if they are going through medical insurance and not the vision.

Everyone did their job efficiently, and it moved along smoothly. No long waits.

I had a piece of metal in my eye (small spec maybe a 32nd in size)Dr. Vogal explained everything he was going to do, got me as comfortable as he could for the irritable pain i was in, answered any questions i had, removed the metal, prescribed eye drops, in and out in less then 45min to an hour to me thats good time especially dealing with my eye/eyes.

Very good experience, as usual. Recommend this group to anyone.
