Better than before. Used to have dozens if not 100s of GS following me around inside messing with me. Not too bad I guess. They dont like me. I get it. Im sorry Im different. Bunch of new great items Id rather have than those items at other discount stores. 99 cents have stepped up their game bigtime. Store is more cleaner and fresher than before. Unfortunately the veggies and fruits still need improvement. Overall not to shabby

I just left the 99 cent store! Unfortunately got an attitude from a checker. She was not able to complete my checkout. So she sent me to another line. No apologies. I asked if I could be next on line even though there were five people on the next line. Both checkers then had an attitude. Seriously, I already waited online. I was just looking for a fair and reasonable resolution and the checkers treated me as if I were a fly buzzing around their heads instead of a customer that provides their income. I love the 99 cent store; it is my favorite store. Too bad about these two individuals. Oh well, theyll probably be be gone in a couple of months if they have any ambition whatsoever.

Very friendly staffs. They put one employee by the entrance who makes sure all customers try sanitizing their palms when their coming in Store.I guess their profit is not so much, however, they will try keeping all of us safety spending their extra expenses. I really appreciate them.Of course, their price is good for the customers.

Love shopping there. Always something new, I can never get out of there for less than$20.

This location has way more things than the other location. Be prepared for the big lines they make just to pay.

I always have an awesome experience at this 99 cent store. The staff are always helpful and courteous. And on Wednesdays they have fresh produce which is always awesome. And now virus thing is going on they have free bags. So take advantage while you can.

99 cent store was great and it always is

What can I say? There are 2 stores that I frequently go to more often then all the other stores & the 99 Cents Only Store is one of them. I cant seem to leave that store without spending almost $30. So needless to say, thats almost 30 items. Omg, I am pathetic. And thats even without looking at my list, which I usually make prior to going out shopping. But while Im there I end up thinking about all the other things that I needed that didnt get on my list. Seems like I need to improve on my list making, you think????

One of the best supermarket in the area. All the products are very clean and fresh.

I love this place, small, plenty of parking and friendly staff.

Compared to the other discount stores you can buy fruits including bananas and cherrys etc. Very good place to buy cheap cookies with juice drinks.

This 99 cent only store usually has great food choices. Fruits and veggies. I usually grab bagels and strawberries. Water and candy too

The employee clara was pretty rude didnt say hi or offer me a bag when she did to the prior customer and customer after me. Just gave me a look

Cashier was so rude! I understand people close registers but just now she so rudely said she was already closed!! Thats no way to treat customers. But thats just me.

All the 99 cent store have alot good improvement now there all cleaned and all the shelf are all nice you can find the item right away people working so friendly and nice im taking all the stories here in California Orange county and LA county.

My least favorite of the 99 Cent Only Store Triad I frequent (the others being Artesia & Lakewood), this 99 Cent store is located in the mean streets of Hawaiian Gardens. Make sure to pull you strap upon arrival here ;p j/kThe aisles seem a little more cramped, compared to the other 2 stores. Otherwise, its easy to find the items youre looking for. For those who think theyre too good to shop at the 99 Cent, there are some really great finds to be had. Sometimes now & then, and others all the time. Im talking about-Earthbound Farms Organic salad mixesBags of spring mix & baby spinachOrganic bagged tea7 lb bags of iceetc.99 Cent store also carries convenience items, such as gallons of milk & butter. But, these arent 99 cents, which would be awesome. Besides the 99 cents items, the 99 Cents store also carries pricier items. During the summer, I bought patriotic Pillow Pets for $1.99/each. They make quite the cozy throw pillow while watching TV ;pService has been decent. Im mainly concerned with the workers stocking the latests goods for me to buy. Checkout can be quick or backed up depending upon the time of day & the staffing.Parking is in a private lot, shared by a cigar shop, Tacos Sahuayo, Starbucks & other businesses.Save some money, man! Hit up the 99 Cent store. I prefer the Artesia location, but the Hawaiian Gardens stores will do if Im in the area. Just dont roll up in your Bentley. Just sayin

One time, I went there to buy a snack after college like almost every day. When I went to purchase the snacks, I saw an empty lane that had the lights on. I went there and an African American lady, skinny, with galsses and braces told me that shes off for the day. I told her if that was tge case, why did she had her light lane on. Never shopping there ever again.
