Staff attempted to be helpful but was ultimately under trained, sold me a light they didnt have in stock and only one person in the store could process a refund. Im sure this place is great for commercial operators who know what they need but it does not seem geared towards the hobbyist side of the market.

This is from Monday, December 28th: My fiance and I like to support local businesses, but I will say after tonights experience that we will not be frequenting this store anymore. The guys who work here can be very helpful, but tonight we were uncomfortable with how Josh treated my fiance, who has high functioning Autism along with social anxiety, etc. Josh questioned his choices and was very dismissive, assuming that my fiance didnt know what he was talking about just because he has trouble articulating himself at times, especially when being talked down to, it makes him anxious and start to stutter. I noticed Joshs behavior at check out when he started to talk to only me and I didnt know how to redirect him to what my fiance was trying to say. Yes, we only came in for one item originally, but my fiance had chosen to get the items we needed to update our(mainly his) grow. Josh made comments before this, telling him not to purchase a drip table until he gets a few grows under his belt first, he does have them, from doing it over the years. My fiance asks questions because he wants to learn as much as he can and what the different techniques are. Josh was presumptuous and rude. We have been going to this location for almost a year now and spent thousands of dollars here, no Josh, this is not our first time. Just because my fiance talks differently from his conditions, does not give anyone the right to treat him as a lesser person. He understands chemistry better than I can, he is compassionate, intelligent, and not only my partner in life, but also business partner in our event company that is down currently due to covid. I wish I had said something, there were more comments made. I have trouble speaking up too, but I can find strength in being the voice for my fiance. You have no idea what impact you have on a person with how you treat them, I am still learning myself even in this situation and how I handled it. I hope you do too. Big ups to Tim, he is always helpful, informative, and understanding.

Store seems like its geared toward large commercial gardens and as a hobbyist I did not feel like a priority.Cashiers lack either caring or knowledge/information caused me to spend the same money to buy the same products elsewhere. A hydro shop employee should have customer service skills and at least prioritize customers over their other tasks.Theyre also not up front about their prices. Asking for a price on a product prompts them to ask where you currently shop so they know what kind of discount they need to offer you to remain competitive.This place left a bad taste in my mouth and it seems like a poor choice for hobbyists, especially with the large selection of hydro stores in the area.To their credit, the store is well stocked and has a reasonably sized inventory.

Horrible customer service, owners/managers are very disrespectful and ignorant. Got a bunch of expired nutrients on the shelf. Would not spend another single penny here if my life depended on it.
