My dad bought a brand new skid steer from these guys.The sales guy promised him he’d get a warranty if he bought brand new.From day one these guys have been untruthful some of the lights did not work, the paint was extremely faded after multiple calls they agree to come out and fix the lights but they don’t come, these people are extremely untruthful and we will never do business with these people again.If you buy new make sure everything is working good and do not plan on having a warranty because we sure don’t have one on our brand new machineI’m leaving a review for my dad as he doesn’t use internet.

Spent the day driving around checking out used compact tractors, stopped at M&R last and found 2 used tractors that fit our needs, they where about to close, although the sales rep we were working with stayed late, found a Kubota with low hours and a great price, the salesman made it an enjoyable purchase, highly recommend m&r, and the Kubota brand new or used

I recently bought a BX2380 from M&R and it has been a great machine so far. Sales process was easy and very pleasant. I had a minor issue with it after purchase (it happens, no big deal) and called to report it to M&R. They were very responsive and corrected it for me the next day. I judge a company on how well they stand behind the equipment and M&R did a fantastic job standing behind the tractor after the sale. I will definelty use them again when purchasing equipment.

Going against what friends and former customers recommend we recently purchased a tractor with M&R and the experience was a not a good one. After the tractor was paid for they attempted to add $2500 of fees to the tractor before delivery. Everyone told us not to deal with them and now we know why.

3 years ago I purchased a John Deere riding mower from Lowe’s in Hermitage. It’s an actual Deere not an MTD. My first service done at M&R was around $250.00. Last year the charge was around $350.00. This year the service was $440.00. Originally I paid $1700 for the tractor. All of these services included a $75.00 fee for pick up and delivery from about 10 miles away. This mower is cleaned after every use, washed and waxed regularly and to this day looks new. This year I had them replace 2 front tires because the tread was gone, although the rear tires are like new. No help from John Deere. I was charged $59.00 for 2 small tires, $6.50 for 2 valve stems, and $35.00 for 2 day freight. They had my tractor for 11 days!!! I never authorized 2 day shipping! I have found someone else to Service my mower in the future because the price gouging is over the top. The service work is always performed well, but they have priced themselves out of my range. My wife’s car is as old as the tractor. We change the oil and filter every 3000 miles, the most expensive service we’ve had on her CAR was $74.00. The car stickers for just under $29,000.00. I have no faith or trust in a company that would charge 3-4 times to service a tractor, as a franchised auto dealer does to service my car. It won’t let me rate half a star or I would have.

On Saturday August 1 I called in the morning to ask if they had a 54” Land Pride box blade and the girl said yes they had one in stock for $716. Said great I’ll be there today. I drove 55 minutes to get there. I was greeted by salesman Matthew Bell who quickly said they didn’t have one in stock and said the note in the computer displayed it having been transferred on June 1. I said i was now fairly angry. He checked the lot, no luck. He then encouraged me to buy a 60” box blade showing me charts that said it’ll work with my BX23 tractor despite me indicating i was concerned it would be too big. He offered to sell it for less than the 54. After some discussion I said can you ask if anyone else here has experience since I really thought the 60 would be too big for my tractor to be effective with. He checked with the service guys and returned shaking his head and indicating they agreed with me.SO, I wasted 2 hrs of my Saturday on bad information and was encouraged to purchase an implement that I would not have been happy with. I understand that website inventory can often be inaccurate, but I called to avoid that issue. The ‘new girl’ at the desk answering the phones needs more training. And Matt Bell needs to learn more about the products he’s selling so as to not sell something that won’t work for the customer. Or he needs to be more willing to seek information when he doesn’t have direct experience. His indication as being a low pressure salesman is a little inaccurate as he strongly encouraged me to buy the 60”.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I bought a John Deere Zero Turn a couple of months back and was told that the financing terms were 3 years 0% interest and 90 no payments. After a month of receiving my mower I logged into John Deere financial to set up my payment info and I had a notice that I was late already on a payment and that I only had 12 months 0%! I called the office and after talking to the sales man and then the financial lady I was told that they messed up and the terms I was supposed to have had were only for commercial units and not residential. Make sure you confirm everything with everyone you speak to there and read the fine print before signing anything because they dont really know what they are doing!

This was my first time dealing with M&R. My old 7 year old riding lawnmower began burning oil. I took it to a mechanic as I dont have the tools or know-how to do major repairs on a small gas engine. He told me that he thought the rings went and scored the cylinder walls. To replace the engine or replace the pistons, rings and or cylinder sleeves plus labor Id have over half the price of buying a new lawnmower. He also told me that lawnmowers are made to only last about 7 years. He recommended John Deere tractors since they are one of the few that arent made by MTD.Thats how I ended up at M&R. While Lowes and Home Depot sell John Deere mowers, they dont offer in-house services. All three places were selling the model I was interested in at the same price. No one had any rebates at the time. No one took trade-ins but M&R did take my old mower. The John Deere seems to have more weight to it as my old tractor would tend to lose traction on hills. The John Deere didnt even though the grass was damp. My old tractor had a short turn radius which I liked, but so does the John Deere. Its nice having a dealership near by where I can go to if the need arises.

I bought my little Honda mower almost 3 years ago @M & R.This powerhouse product has been a joy to own and I have matt to thank for selecting it for me. He knew it was a good mower for an older person with reliability. When I needed a pre-season check up this year, Nikki was an asset by setting up a date while a special price was running. a problem was found and since it was a warranty repair, she took care of all the details. I only had to pay for the check up. Nikki is the most qualified service rep I have ever encountered. This company is amazing because they service what they sell

She never told me about the discount available for that model I was looking at.They did have a very nice showroom and selections. I have bought equipment here before with good service but passed on this visit. Went somewhere that informed me of the discount and knew there saws.

Bought a used kubota b8200 from them.. Called days before making the almost 3 hour trip there and asked about the unit. Was told nothing mechanically wrong with it just usual wear and tear for its age. After almost 8 hour round trip with a 7 yr old the hydraulics dont work. Signed an as is clause paper when picked up. Here I am just a belly mower and cant use arms on 3 point. Looks like a 600$ pump is my next purchase. Watch your sales guy! Double check everything....

Took a Stihl chainsaw in for repairs. Store called and said they didnt know which carburetor was needed to repair the saw and were unable to fix it. Upon picking up the saw and giving it a once over, they had a rubber housing unit completely missing (I returned to the store the next day and they immediately found it, but never bothered to call and inform me they had forgot to reinstall a piece).Also, they did not hook the fuel line back up to the carburetor, and somehow accidentally put the wrong fuel tank vent on it. This was my 2nd poor experience with M & R service department. I will not take another small engine item there for repair.

I recently tried to rent two pieces of equipment from M&R. I called and reserved the equipment a week in advance. The day before the delivery a call to verify that my equipment will arrive in the morning at my job location. I am told that it will be delivered when it is scheduled to. Shortly after, I make arrangements with other contractors to arrive at the job site so my work can be completed. Approximately 3 hours after I talk to M&R, they call me to tell me that they sold the piece of equipment two days ago. I ask about renting a smaller piece of equipment, or if there is anything they could do to help me get my job done, they say NO. M&R had no problem charging me the full rental fee on my credit card to hold the equipment, but yet they go ahead and sell it. With contractors arriving the next day without any equipment I had no choice to cancel the work and pay a cancellation fee because M&R could not simply do their job.The rental department at M&R is a complete joke and I am not sure how they run a business like this. I will never recommend anyone rent equipment from this business. If I could give M&R zero stars I would.

I went to M&R because my father use to go there in the past when he was still alive and had great service getting parts for our kubota and other tractors and small engine devices we had. Because of the quarantine restrictions I was excited to see them open and decided to shop small rather than buying online when I an older Troy Bilt Horse cultivator I had was having issues with its ignition.Because the cultivator has an older tecumseh engine I figured it would be best to bring the whole ignition module so I could replace the whole unit rather than just the magneto. Well upon going there with the ignition in my hand I showed it to the employee at the parts counter and said I needed a new one. The response I got was Whats the serial number of the motor I told the employee I didnt have the serial number because it was from a 35 year old motor that was half rusted. But told him the model of the cultivator along with HP rating and brand. Mind you he still had the ignition unit in his hand with the part numbers on the unit itself. Then he said because it was so old they wouldnt have the part. I asked him at that point if he could look up by the part number and he said he could only look up by the serial number of the motor.At this point I was beyond frustrated so I said thank you and went on my way. I proceeded to walk to my truck in the parking lot and find the parts online using the part numbers and in literally 37 seconds on my phone ordered the parts I needed. While sitting in my truck in the parking lot.I appreciated the business being open during the quarantine but this is the exact reason Mom & Pop businesses fail I was looking for help and not only did I not get it, I didnt get the part I needed and I was frustrated to boot. This experience was my first and last experience at M&R I will source my parts elsewhere for my Kubota and Cub cadets. It really is a shame because going there brought back some great memories of my Father going there and getting parts to fix our tractors and me helping him.Takeaways for M&R- Now this was just my experience and I imagine this doesnt happen all the time but sometimes just at least Try and help the customer that goes a long way. When an employee has a part in hand and doesnt even attempt to assist a customer that is one of the quickest ways to lose a customer.

I am very pleased the way how M&R has treated me with great customer service. linc was my sale representative, hes knowledgeable and honest with me.I purchase a new Exmark zero turn ordered it with headlights, they accidentally install the wrong headlights, I called Linc he was quickly to resolve correct the problem they pick the tractor up replace it with the correct LED lights and return it back to me very quickly. Im very pleased with the service that they have provided to me. I highly recommend linc and M&R Power Equipment

Love my hustler raptor sd... however the worst service I have ever experienced with a business... took 3 weeks to get me my $3800 mower with no phone calls... had to call every couple days for follow ups... once I got the mower I called and inquired about an accessory to purchase... they had no idea what a muffler guard was... I had to contact Hustler for information on it... they never calledMe back after they said they would look into it...would definitely buy another hustler product but definitely at a different dealer...

Repair took 2 weeks longer than they originally proposed. Sent them a check for the completed service, then kept getting phone calls about not getting paid, even after the check has been cleared weeks prior. Ironically, after having the repair done at their facility, another issue presented after mowing just twice after receiving the mower. Though, the repair we took the item in for appears to be sufficient. I highly recommend NOT utilizing their repair services. I cannot speak on behalf of any other department, so this is a rating for their service department only. Make the extra drive and work with another John Deere Dealer for your repair. Itll be worth avoiding a similar hassle.

Watch when you buy something thats on sale. I purchased a Stihl weed eater that the sales person said was on sale. I paid the sales price that day. 5 days later they called me and said it was not on sale and I owed $80.04 more. Yes, I did go in and pay it because I am a business person, but did not agree with their process. When I got there they said for my trouble just pay $40.00. Just watch when you buy something and take it home they will want more money days later.

I work at a medium sized company and we took a product there to be serviced for warranty told itd be only 3 days (rudely) and ended up waiting 3 weeks for the service to be done. Would NOT recommend service department. As for the selection and prices, its about average---good, depending on the product.

My seven day odyssey to get the basis initial 50 hour service completed on my tractor ended today ended when I picked it up at M&R. I spoke with the store manager who apologized for the inconvenience, agreed it was unacceptable, but offered no resolution or reason for the amount of time it took. I was even charged for antifreeze that was lost due to the tractor not being assembled properly. This dealership has definately lost focus of the individual customer. I will no longer do business with M&R.This is a follow up to the below post from 5/8/19. Tractor was dropped off for a basic scheduled service at 8:00 AM on 5/6/19. I was contacted by the service department at 10:30 on 5/7/19 and gave approval for the fee of over $600, which is the cost of this basic 50 hour service. I then contacted the service department at 10:00 AM on 5/8/19 to see if the service was completed so I could pick up the tractor. At this time, I was rudely informed by an employee that the service was not completed yet, and she did not know when it would be done, but they would call when the tractor was ready for pick up. As of 4:45 PM on 5/10/19 I had heard nothing from M&R, so I again contacted the service department regarding this matter and spoke to a different employee. I was informed the tractor was still not done, but it was scheduled to be done on the morning of 5/13/19. When ask why it takes a full week for a basic service, replyed I dont know, it should of been done by now. I followed this call with a call back to M&R and spoke to the store manager, who took my information and promised to look into this matter and call me back. Its three days later and Im still waiting for that call back. At noon on 5/11/19, I was contacted by the service department and informed that the service was completed on my tractor and the total due was $629.79, and that they close at 2:00 PM. This did not allow me enough time to pick up the tractor on this date, so I still will not be able to get it till Monday, 5/13/19. Bottom line is that it took an entire week to perform a simple basic service on this tractor that is equivalent to an oil change on a car. This type of sevice ruins the reputation of an otherwise fine dealership. Also, they do not monitor the testimonials on their own website and only post the positive ones for review.I have purchased three Kubota products from this dealership. M&R is a nice facility with a pleasant and knowledgeable sales staff and parts department, however their service department is absolutely horrible. I am currently in the process of trying to get the basic 50 hour service done on my new L4701 tractor. When I called to schedule the appointed they were two weeks out, which was understandable for the time of year. After delivering the tractor to them as schedule, I received a call from service over a day later saying that a technician looked over my tractor and found that nothing more was required other than the 50 hour maintenance. The purpose of this call was to inform me that the cost of this service would be around $650, and ask for approval to complete work. I immediately authorized the work to be done and have now waited over two days and the service had yet to be completed. As I write this review, I am four days into this process of getting a very basic service done on a tractor that was purchased from this dealership, and have no idea of when it will actually be completed. I am currently in the market for a new zero-turn, which in the past I would of automatically purchased from this dealership, but will now look elsewhere.

Edit: M&R fixed everything and delivered me a brand new Ferris straight out of the box, full tank of gas and it was sparkly red. Really happy that they made everything right and went out of their way to make sure things were fixed. Would definitely do business with them again!!!! Any company that makes mistakes and makes them right is a great company.Original review: Friendly staff. Was told my brand new Ferris 61 inch zero turn that cost 7k would be cleaned, full of gas, and the battery would be fixed (it didnt want to start since it sat all winter). It was delivered filthy, quarter tank, and didnt want to start without a jump. Really irritated that I get promised things and they arent delivered.

Recently bought a 12 acre property and have been considering purchasing a tractor with loader + implements. Decided I would rent a few times first to see how it fits my needs. Also will be in the market for a zero turn at some point as well.Called twice with no answer. Submitted the rental request form twice via thier website, after a week but still no response.Based on the reviews I thought I found the right place to take my buisness, unfortunatly looks like for now this is not the case.

I would never buy any thing from here, there service department can not fix or repair what they sell, I have returned a snowdog snow plow 5 times for oil leaks and every time I got the plow home I found something smashed or broken, also it still is leaking oil on my floor, I’m going to haul it back over there and they can stick it where the sun don’t shine
