We bought a GMC Sierra just a few days ago and my husband loves it, and thats coming from a man that loves his Mustang. The process before seeing the truck was quick and efficient thanks to Luis. Luis and my husband were in constant communication which made everything very helpful. The day of actually seeing the truck was VERY time consuming. We had went to two other dealerships prior and they let you actually come onsite and everything ran smoothly; Vann York on the other hand not so much. I understand that with COVID19 that adjustments must be made but make sure the plan is effective. We had a family member bring us and we ended up waiting around for almost 3 hours before signing the paperwork. We had to meet in the overflow lot at the mall and it 2was hot that day! When Luis arrived he noticed that our truck wasnt at the lot but back at the dealership. He came back and we went on the test drive just the two of us. We had to wait again for the truck to be washed and for the paperwork. We kept being told just another 20min or just another 30 min. It was too much. Again it may have not been so bad if we were at the dealership instead of a parking lot on at 80°+ day. Luis apologized for the time and thanked us for our patience multiple times, he seemed genuine about it, but it was still long day.

My go to man has always been Kenny Hawkins because he went way above and beyond to get me my 2016 chevy Colorado, when other dealerships said the red rock color couldnt be found. I have the red rock Colorado with the package I wanted, and love it. So when it came time to buy my wife a car, I called Kenny. He was promoted to financing, so he put me with a hand picked salesman, and we got the chevy spark. We outgrew the spark and my wife needed something bigger..so I call on kenny again, and he sent us to Tyrone. We got excellent service with Tyrone, and brought home a 2019 chevy trax. She was so happy, but it was short lived as when we took the trax home with 35 miles on it, we noticed a rubbing sound when we made sharp turns. I called Tyrone and he went right to work to make this right. The trax had problems with the awd clutches releasing. We didnt want a car with problems starting out, so Tyrone and Kenny rallied the troops, searched for an identical car to no avail...we brought home a 2020 Buick encore, for the same price and payment as the trax. My wife is happy, I am happy, Tyrone and the staff at Vann York believe in customer service, doing the right thing, and staying after hours to make a customer happy. My Wife & I were very impressed with Mr. Hairston. As I walked through the sales room, Mr. Hairston approached and introduced himself. Mr. Hairston walked up into the new car lot to where my wife was looking at various cars. After introducing himself, he walked back and brought keys to the vehicle she showed an interest in. They drove down, picked me up, and we went for a test drive. Throughout he was courteous, eager to help, answered all our questions completely. He offered the usual Vann York hospitality (coffee or water). We made the unusual request to trade in two vehicles on the one new one. To our delight, our request was granted. One of worst customer service experience I have ever seen from a Cadillac dealership I make a appoint in advance for a simple oil change and tire rotation and a recall. I arrive on time and I request a loaner for the recall now I wait 45 mins befor I am told they even come to me saying they do not have time for me even after I make an appointment.
