I used to like this store, but lately the atmosphere has changed from your welcome here to dont bother me Im busy. I bought a gun from here a few days ago and when I asked for ammo for this firearm, I was told a certain type would work. Took the gun to shoot with and it wasnt working. I went back for help and they told me I was using the wrong type of ammo, having been told BY AN LGS EMPLOYEE THAT THIS WAS WHAT I NEEDED. Sure, mistakes happen, but when they try to make you feel like its your fault, not ok. Had to go to another gun store with better customer service to get some help. By the way, both Zia Guns and Gunns Guns are amazing people to talk to.

When buying guns I have had amazing experiences here even over the phone I can find helpful information on what guns are in store and the prices. Selling guns I just wouldnt recommend doing here or any place in Hobbs NM not worth it. The ammo just dont buy here order online the guns are fairly priced at cheaper prices then other stores in town.

Friendly shop! Willing to help and answer questions. Ive been all over from Hobbs to Lovington to Artesia the past few weeks,looking for a pistol to honor 10 years married. Just ordered a Sig P220 equinox .45 . Beautiful peice, I cant wait to have it. Thanks guys! I could have ordered from a few places but I chose LGS because of customer service! They also have a great selection in house.

LGS is the nicest place I have been in a long time to buy guns and ammo. The staff are so welcoming and are always quick to assist with any issues that I might be having. Overall pricing is comparable or better than other retailers and the staff is always willing to work with you on pricing when they can. I would highly recommend that if you are looking to purchase a gun or just want some knowledge on it then this is the place for you. The lay out of the store makes it easy to get assistance when you need help on an item. Still love this store.

The old man across the street at leftys will actually salt his parking lot so you dont crack open your head on the ice

Over priced and during the virus pandemic paid 175.00 for 90 shells 2 weeks ago and now selling same for 50.75 same box and bar code going to take it to state troopers tomorrow got a meeting with them. Price gouging people nowadays is against the lae.

Dont buy from here!!!! Back in February 2016, LGS had a breach on their credit card system & ran all card transactions twice. 6 months later Im still waiting for Colby to refund my money for the duplicate transaction. Colby never seems to be available when I call the store, to check the status of my refund.
