The Ferrari Dealer offers a completely new dashboard which costs thousands of dollars. For such a reasonable price, Alice Tailoring & Alterations upholstered my dashboard and saved me a great amount of money. I am genuinely impressed and satisfied with their service, quality of work, and definitely would not go anywhere else! They took great caution to ensure the precision of the details were exactly the way they were supposed to be. I turned in some clothes to be tailored last week and they came out phenomenally! Victoria was very helpful and nice when she was explaining prices and what needed to be worked on. Services included hemming, zipper replacement, and repair. I would highly recommend this place for alterations done in a timely manner!

I have had Alice Tailoring and Alterations alter several things for me over the years. I have been very pleased with the quality job they do. I was particularly pleased this most recent time that I took my daughter’s prom dress to be hemmed. We needed it back in a short time, and they were so nice and accommodating. In fact they even had it done a day earlier than expected. There was also beading on the dress that went below where the dress needed to be hemmed. They were able to carefully unpick some of the beading allowing for the dress to be hemmed to the right length. They definitely went above and beyond to please us. They did an outstanding job! I would definitely recommend them for your tailoring needs.

Had a bridesmaid dress come in late for a wedding and needed a quick turnaround on an alteration. I called in and Victoria’s great customer service started from the beginning, she made availability for me that night to drop off the dress, marked the hem, and turned around the dress in 3 DAYS! We dropped off some pants as well that weren’t high priority and she was able to get those done as well which made it so convenient for pickup. We’ll be back with our dry cleaning and other alterations!

This is the best place for fairly priced, quality alterations. I have taken many shirts and bags to be hemmed and/or fixed and they always do great work. Its also usually done within a day or two so it’s great if you need the work done quickly. Love this shop!

I had a need for a new suit on short notice. The pants were not hemmed and I needed some quick work. The tailoring for the pants was something I had hoped could be completed in a day or two. She completed the alterations in less than two hours at a very good price. Outstanding service.

Victoria does amazing work!! I found my new go-to tailor. Her little shop is so cute and she made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked in. Reasonable prices for quality work! I ripped my favorite pair of pants and thought it was not salvageable but she brought them back to life and you can’t even see the seam! Will definitely be back!

I went in to have a suit jacket tailored. They provided a couple options of what could be done and the associated costs. I really liked that I was given those options and was able to share my concerns, etc. about the outcomes. We came to the best conclusion for me, and it was done exceptionally well and in a couple days time. The fit is perfect now.I love finding places in my community like this. I highly recommend.

Victoria was a delight to work with! I had a dress I wanted altered that required additional fabric and Victoria went out of her way to go to several fabric stores to try to match the fabric. Ultimately, there wasnt fabric available so I went with another dress, but had Victoria alter 2 dresses for my girls for an upcoming wedding. She did a fantastic job and the dresses turned out beautifully. Her turnaround time was incredible fast as well! I highly recommend her services.

I bought a suit through an online flash sale at Macys. I wasnt sure what fit or size to get, but since it was such a good deal I guessed. The suit came and felt a little big so I took it in to Victoria to get it adjusted. I tried it on, she pinned it up and told me what it would take to get it to fit, and it was a lot. Rather than charge me for all that work, she suggested I return the suit and get a different fit and size. I was able to exchange the suit for one that fit much better, but still needed some adjustment. I took it back to Victoria, tried it on, she pinned it up, and she gave me a reasonable price. She finished quickly and I am very happy with the results. When I was able to get another suit on sale I jumped at it - I knew better what fit and size to get, and I went right back to Victoria for a quick, professional and affordable adjustment.She is a new business owner and shes building her business the right way. Not cutting corners or overcharging people, but doing great work at a fair price.

Fantastic service and workmanship is excellent. We had a rush job. We needed some mens pants hemmed for an event. The pants were done same day and at a reasonable price. I have used Alice Tailoring and Alterations before and have always been happy with the finished product and service.

Quite the rip off. Was given a price to repair a backpack and hem a pair of jeans, had to pay when I dropped them off. Had the wife pick them up today and they charged her ANOTHER $17 that was never mentioned. For the approximately $40 in total youd think the hand stitching on the backpack would be better, or at least theyd have used heavy duty thread to hem the jeans, or even hemmed them evenly for that matter. Lesson learned, Ill never be back again and hopefully this review will keep someone else from making the same mistake. Just because theyre in a nice part of town doesnt mean youll get honest or quality service

Alice does exceptional work. People who complain about the cost are unaccustomed to paying for craftsmanship and quality or possibly shocked by what it can cost to tailor cheap, off-the-rack clothing to actually fit! Salt Lake City is fortunate to have a tailor of Alices talent. If youre unwilling to pay for quality, take your tailoring to a drycleaner.

I always go here whenever I rip any of my clothes, no use in throwing out my good flannels or any of my non gore-text outdoor gear. Super honest with pricing, will always tell me up front if its not fixable by their means or frankly not worth repairing due to costs. Love this place, Ill keep coming back.

SCAM!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Sister had to get a dress altered on the bottom, the bust, and the sleeves- only the bottom was done when we went to pick it up. Had to come back an hour later because she didnt do the sleeves. Came back, tried on the dress this time and she didnt do the bust and the sleeves were still not correct. Told the seamstress (owner) it was still not done and too big, she said it wasnt her fault. She tried charging us the same amount $175, I asked if she would cut the price since it was still TOO BIG and NOT FINISHED. She refused and kept saying it wasnt her fault. She wouldnt allow us to pay anything less. The wedding is tomorrow and we have to figure out someone to make it actually fit the bridesmaid!!! Waste of time!!! Rude woman who doesnt know what theyre doing!!

Ive been going to Alice Tailoring for several years now. I am personally a very good Seamstress myself, but no longer have the time to sew. Not only is Alice fair on her pricing, by this I mean that the prices she charges makes it simpler to have her do the job, than to do it myself. Not only that, but shes never late on when she says it will be ready, and the very best part is that she does a very very good and professional job. She has never disappointed me!! Always polite and prompt!

I brought in a dress that I ordered online that was too long and had a sash hanging on by a thread. She did a great job hemming the dress and fixing the sash and did it quickly. I’m so excited to wear my new dress.

I’ve lost some weight and needed to get my clothes altered (taking in waistline on 2 skirts and 3 pants). Victoria (the new owner) greeted me warmly, took all my new measurements. In a short period of time, all my clothes were ready to be picked up. Everything was done promptly and professionally. I couldn’t be more happy- did not spend fortune to renew my wardrobe- altering them by Victoria saved me some serious money. For all my future alteration needs, I’ll only go to Victoria- a nice and caring seamstress.

Over priced! She didnt do what I asked even though I had to come back a second time to get fitted again because she didnt pay attention to measurements the first time. Took two weeks and she didnt even call me to pick it up. I just went in finally and it was ready. So who knows if she was ever gonna call me. Definitely do not recommend. There are better alterations with actual quality and not over priced.

With the deadline of my wedding coming in hot and living 700 miles from all friends, family and my wedding venue I was stressed overload when it came to finding a seamstress! I had planned on getting my dress altered before my summer move to Utah by a suggested seamstress but was told that I should wait until a month before my wedding (especially since I work a physically demanding job). So in a new place with NO suggestions I started with YELP and emailed the first place on there. Alice got back to me fast and with precise answers to my questions! She was open late enough for me to make it to her shop on time and took no time at all to gather what she needed. She worked with my crazy schedule and within a week and a half I was able to pickup my dress! It fits perfect and she did exactly what she said shed do!With no help or suggestions I picked a perfect seamstress to work on my overly protected wedding dress!!!Id take my business to her anytime!

The lady there who does all the alteration work (Alice?) is a conniving street merchant. She is very expensive for the quality and customer service afforded. Each time she presented her bill, she did so in a manner that communicated, I dont know if hell pay it or laugh in my face, but I hope its the first... It was, until I got sick of it.

The lady was nice enough, but nearly $28.00 to hem a pair of pants??? I felt ripped off when it was all said and done.

Awful. She charged WAY too much, was very rude. When her credit card machine didnt work on two different cards she told me I gave her bad credit cards. After much discussion she tried it again and it worked. I would never go back and save yourself the trouble. Go ANYWHERE else.

Alice hemmed some slacks the same day I needed them for my sons prom. All other tailor said they would be 2 weeks out. She saved me...and my son!

Very Rude and Way Over Priced!! Charged my daughter $60 on SCRUBS for a 2” hem on the pants and a 1” hem on the shirt. When I tried to ask her why so much she told me she couldn’t talk to me she was working.. 😡
