The course was in magnificent shape. I was pleasantly surprised as it had been 10+ years since I last played there. The only minor complaint was it seemed they overbooked tee times and the round was 5.5 hours. It was Labor Day with a 1030am tee time so that was probably why but 5.5 hours is way too long. This is most definitely a course worth playing for all levels.
Pretty good, I enjoyed the golfing and the challenge. I saw a dude throw himself into some of the water areas and then left soaking wet.
Golf course is in great shape and enjoyed playing it. Starter Jeff Henderson was very nice and got us out on time. Senior rate is extremely competitive and much appreciated. Great day thank you

My favorite course out here. Been going since I was a kid. Mostly walkable. Couple holes very steep not sure how well the older folks would hold up on them.
Course was in overall good condition. Greens were well taken care of. Many Bunkers were like concrete. The pace of play was the worst I’ve ever encountered. 5 hours and 45 minutes for 18 holes. Never saw a ranger on the course but did see one sitting by the clubhouse. Not enjoyable waiting 15 minutes on each hole. I do not recommend this course. There are better options elsewhere.
Beautiful, we’re maintained course. Challenging enough without being overwhelming. Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was good. Looking forward to my next visit.
Very nice course, staff is very friendly, food - their version of the egg McMuffin is quite tasty and well prepared. Will definitely return.
The course is in very good condition. There isn’t a driving range as an FYI. It’s excellent value: $63 for a cart and 18 holes on Fridays. My only criticism would be that the bunkers don’t have much sand in them and are very hard and flat. They do have a practice tee with a bunker so use that opportunity to get acquainted with the bunkers. Thanks

Overall, it is a great place to play golf. Hole 8 is amazing! There are some other holes on this course that are quite unique, but at the same time a welcome challenge. Keep it straight and youll be fine. The greens are in great shape. My only complaint (and it obviously doesnt keep me from coming back) is the Hole 1 Par 5 is a tough way to start a round. Its a fair price and the overall quality has improved over the years.

A challenging track with many dog leg and tight shots required. Greens were in good shape and rolled true.This poor rating has everything to do with how they treat their customers. We went to play a family round on Aug. 23rd. After just two holes the sky opened up and our round was ended due to weather. No worries, we will just grab a rain check and come back to play 18 another day....exceptThe policy of this course is to provide a rain check for just the holes you didn’t play. The rain check they provided was valid for 16 holes...not 18. I’ve never heard of such an absurd rain check policy.We returned to play a round on on Sept 6 and of course had to pay for those 2 holes we had “already played”. It’s not about the extra cost but rather the principle.Unfortunate that the ownership doesn’t understand how this “policy” would potentially cost them more money in the future.

Greens were best I’ve played on anywhere all season. The cut of the cups was like what you see at Augusta. Each hole was level and with a sharp edge. Very impressed!!

Played this course yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the pace of play. No waiting and finished play in 4 1/2 hours. The course was in great shape! Greens were a little shaggy but that’s to be expected this time of year.
It was a pretty hot day and there wasn’t much water around, would have liked to see more. The cart paths need some work, tree roots are breaking them up pretty good. Course was in great shape otherwise and the greens were fast.
Greens were in great shape, but fairways were not as nice as they usually are here. I’m sure the drought is part of the issue.Started on #10 which was a bit disappointing since the 18th hole is a great risk/reward finishing par 5 hole. Our second nine was really slow so not sure if a group jumped in since we were waiting on every shot and it was close to 3 hours while the front played in two hours.It had been a couple of years since I’ve played Overlook, but will be going back again.
Pace is very slow. Large groups (6+) play there often. The course is in mediocre (at best) shape. They charge you as if the course was picturesque... spoiler... its not

I liked the overall beauty and layout but I think the 6,7 and 8 holes are weak in that the layouts are not at all attractive and good golf holes. The 6 green is ridiculously difficult snd there is no need. The 7 green is nice but it’s approach from the fairway needs to be improved because it’s not enjoyable that pitch up. And 8 is just a boring tee shot but if there were more bunkers around the green it would be more fun.
I used to play here often and then felt like it was overplayed and not well maintained.Decided to play yesterday for a change!First impression! Carts are at least 10 years old, fairways are not in great shape, greens were in decent shape. Guys at check in were very nice. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Greens were fantastic. Fairways were poor and very hard pan so difficult for some golfers. If the fairways were better, this would be a 4 or 5 star rating.

The course was great. The ranger was snarky. A leaf blower dude followed us from hole to hole for about 7 holes instead of working backward on the course.
Greens are in good condition. Bunkers could be better but adequate . Fairways in good condition. 2 or 3 Tee boxes( Par 3s) in some places were cut up .Service is good and cordial. Price is about what u expect . I like this course. For some reason I find the 15th particularly difficult. 9th is a great par 3.
Course in good shape but OVER BOOKED. I paid $70 to play 18 with a cart and it took 5+ hours. We had to wait 5-10 minutes at every tee box to wait for groups ahead of us. Will not be playing this course on a Sunday again

Awesome golf course. Very picturesque and the course was in good shape. The only negative was it seems like there were too many holes with dogleg RIGHT leanings. You must hit a straight tee shot or this course will eat your golf balls. Good Value.

I loved this course until they lost me as a customer during the Spring of 2014. For my birthday I decided it would be a good idea to play one of my favorite courses in southern NH with 8 friends. It was a rainy day and the course was dead (literally and figuratively).We were basically the only two groups there. They charged us $70 to play golf in late April with a cart. Now dont get me wrong: if it was mid summer and the course was in great condition then I wouldnt blink an eye but that was NOT the case. The course was in absolutely terrible shape. Yes, the tough winter was to blame for the loss of fairways and greens but that should mean that you DONT charge full price. Temporary greens and dead fairways...None of us felt good about the whole thing and we werent exactly treated well while we were there. I hope they get the course in better shape and try to take better care of customers in the future but either way I wont be returning.

At first glance this course looks decent.You would think a course that charges 52 to walk and 68 to ride would be nice, but think again. The fairways and tee boxes were in decent shape but, slow play combined with horribly bumpy slow greens made for a less than enjoyable round. I ask for one thing in a golf course and thats decent greens. I would be amazed if someone would return here after playing it for the rates they are charging. Easy to say I will never return.
Course in great shape. Park rangers not so much as others have described. Constantly pestered/stalked throughout course despite group behind us being a hole behind. Condescending and annoying. Just go away already.
I have been playing in the Monday night league for the past seven years. Great fun and the course ín generally in good shape. My only negative comment is the geese and the deposits they leave behind. They need a good border collie to visit on a daily basis.

This was not the best experience i had in recent years. i have played golf for 40 years and this is the first time i have been insulted as such for my off par golfing skills. it did not help that the park ranger was being a prude to me because i cannot hit it properly. this is the same reason i got a divorce 5 years ago. completely unacceptable.

Full price for aerated greens. Better chances of hitting powerball than making a putt. Very upset with course conditions. Nice layout but it will take something very special to get me back
