I do not have enough good things to say about Bill and the Rodenhiser team. I would strongly recommend hiring Rodenhiser Excavating for your next project. Bill and his team completed a project at our house in Dover, MA approximately 3 weeks ago and we are so happy with the results. Bill is detail orientated and went above and beyond throughout the entire project. Bill has the all right equipment to get the job done. My wife and I plan on hiring Rodenhiser Excavating again in the near future.When we first met Bill at our house in the late fall of 2019 my wife and I explained that we were having some water issues around the garage that needed to be addressed. After listening to our concerns Bill knew exactly what to do to solve the drainage problem and communicated the solution clearly in a way we could understand.After our first meeting with Bill my wife and I were impressed with his professionalism, experience and knowledge. We quickly made the decision to discuss some additional work of expanding our front and back yard that had been previously covered by large pine trees and woods. Bill came over once again to evaluate the area and formulated a plan to get the job completed.In sum, Bill was communicative and transparent throughout the entire process, his team installed a new drain to resolve the water issue along with a new 1,500 gallon dry-well and the underground infrastructure to deliver the water to the new dry-well. He was also able to connect a number of downspouts from the house to the new dry-well too. Bills resolution will take care of all of our long term water issues for sure! In addition, Bill did a wonderful job leveling out our front and back yard, we have planted new grass and look forward to our family utilizing and enjoying this new space for many years to come.It was a pleasure to work with Bill and his highly skilled team of professionals. His execution was perfect and left the work space in better shape than what he found it.Bill is a truly dedicated professional and we appreciate the great work.

The team at Rodenhiser is highly recommended. I hired them to fill my yard over the process of about 6 months (we lost count on the yardage of fill, but it was probably around 2000yards). This only stopped when it was too wet to drive the trucks out to dump fill. After the fill was done, Rodenhiser loamed and graded my lawn the following spring.Throughout this time, I found that I was excited to see the truck drivers, equipment operators, and Bill Rodenhiser each time they stopped by to dump fill or move earth. I made the comment to my friends/family/coworkers that sometimes I think that Bill is more excited to landscape my yard than I am!I also spent a little time working with Bill on my yard, so I got to know him a bit. Bill works very hard, wants to get the job rolling immediately, and is very responsive to texts or changes in schedules.My yard now is unbelievable, far beyond what I thought I had hired Rodenhiser Excavating for and I will continue to be their client. My friends will likely be Rodenhiser’s client in the future.I have put some photos up of the before, during, and after.Also--I put multiple reviews out there so people know about Bill, Jay, Mike, and all at Rodenhiser Excavating.Update:Bill helped us again! Needed loam and 3/4 stone with next day. He delivered without hesitation. Awesome job with a last minute request!

I didnt hire these guys personally, they were working on a neighbors house. They were the most inconsiderate and unprofessional workers Ive ever seen. They had no consideration of the surrounding houses and took up entire roads, blocked driveways, and used my yard for storage without permission. The surroundings houses had to drive over my lawn just to move down the street which has resulted in the end of my driveway being torn up. Dont ever hire this company if you like your neighbors. They also have taken 3 months to do a 2 week job. Its pathetic. This company is garbage and in no way deserves a 4-5 star rating.

Quick response to my call about my septic system alarm going off. Came out and patiently but efficiently diagnosed the issue, taking time to explain the system to me. Pumped the system and fixed the alarm issue for a reasonable price. Professional and knowledgeable. Will use them in the future.

I hope to never have to have a complete septic system installed again but if I did i would certainly hire Rodenhiser to do the job. This scope of work is very detailed and Bill and his team explained every detailed step of the job. Paula and the office crew were also extremely polite and answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We had a very difficult project due to our proximity to the ocean and our land and the team was very meticulous in their work and totally professional, not often do you see this work ethic any more but they delivered. I would highly recommend them to do any scope of work. They also have a knack for taking a bad situation and making it look great. If you need this type of work done, this is the team. We could not be happier with the job and very happy that we have a new functioning septic system!!!!!!!

Cant say enough and couldnt be happier with the overall experience we had adding an important addition to our home. Bill, Paula, Debbie, Lon, Mr. Jon, Greg, Chris...everyone, were all a pleasure to work with.We had a challenging need to add space, but it required redesigning the existing septic, overcoming a hi water table, corner lot offsets and ultimately designing and building that would satisfy our personal needs - all within a budget that they were conscious of from beginning to end. Had septic pumped, very professional. The driver went above and beyond to clean a very small mishap, when he didnt even know I was home and able to see the cleanup. Highly recommend.

Bill and crew did an excellent job! Fair price and fast service.Our house is located 25 feet down grade with several 60 to 80 feet pine trees in the way. The town of Taunton demands that we connected to city sewer, after our septic system not passing title 5.We had many local contractors back out after giving a bid.Rodenheiser excavating completed the job extremely well. They showed up on time, with professional crew and knowledgeable on how to handle our tricky situation.I would personally recommend them to any home owner that needs any sort of work done. This excavating crew is actually working on the house next door. NOT my house. I come home early from work today and find his workers trespassing/steeling water from my house!!! Turns out this has been going on for the last three days!! Im hooked up to City water and have to pay for that!! This is extremely unprofessional should never happen. Dont hire these people.
