I was scheduled to take my Cadillac in on a Monday, with family flying in from the Mainland. Got a call that they were going to close on Monday, so they pushed me back to Wednesday... the day my family was to arrive and wouldve given ample time to replace my a/c condenser, referring to what the Service Writer told me. My family canceled the trip the day before because I was told it would be Friday until it was ready. It being my only mode of transportation, I ran completely out of groceries by Friday!! THEN I get a call that they had a car that had been at the dealership since MAY and they got the parts in and put it infront of my car!!! (OBVIOUSLY NOT THEIR ONLY TRANSPORTATION!!!) SERIOUSLY?!!SO, then I didnt get my car back until Monday afternoon!! This is not my first issue with the service department, nor was the other issue a small mistake!!!I love the GM and sales.. but the Service Department is in need of hiring someone who can stay on top of and handle putting someone else to be a Supervisor so noone else goes through my past 2 experiences!!

Worst experience ever. Poor sales management skills. Poor GM and transparency would go a long way. So focused on one sale but potential to have many more. Do not go unless you are ready to be put through the ringer and spit out. Purchased other vehicles from competitor that went smoothly and without the mind games played here. Tricks are for kids. They deserve negative rating.

This is the second vehicle we have bought from this dealership, and I have to say that their staff, employees, and other workers are some of the most friendly people I have talked to. They have also taken care of my wife and I and made sure we had the best options and deals for the vehicles we were interested in. This is the dealership that I will be going to in the future because they made my wife and I feel like our situation mattered, and did everything in their power to help us out.

The worst car sales experience Yet. Absolutely no consideration for our time or the safety of our ohana with the truck they sold to us. They care nothing but selling vehicles. Our trucks brakes electronic system failed and brakes gave out. Took the truck back in to get fixed. They gave us the run around about a loaner car then finally gave in and gave a car that smelled like cigarette smoke and could not fit my ohana in. Moving forward...Brian, Kalai, Sasha and Samantha all guaranteed us that it was fixed and wouldn’t happen again. On the way home the trucks brakes gave out again!! Same day they fixed it. They kept transferring my calls and kept bouncing my calls around the office after when calling back to resolve our problem with the truck. We got nowhere but rude attitudes and 0 communication. On a scale of 1-10 I rate this GMC Honolulu Dealership a 1. Do Not support this dealership or the rude staff. Buy elsewhere! They don’t deserve your business.

I cant even believe they sent me this survey. My car is not even fixed yet.My brand new car has been in the shop for over a month and they are still not sure what is wrong with it. No calls to update me - I have to call to find out and each time I call I get a different story. First it was a belt, but they didnt have the tool to fix it. (You mean you sold me a car you cannot even fix?) Now it might be the turbocharger. But nothing definitive - no hey we figured it out, not even a call to let me know they were still working on diagnosing it.The only time I got a call from anyone was after I called Lithia Cares. That was the one and only call. Not feeling like Lithia Cares that much at all.I brought it in for one issue and for a recall fix and they found other issues that they say are now fixed - parking brake switch was not working, steering column rattled, and the problem I brought it in for was neither of those things. This is a new car I bought off the lot with only 24 miles on it! It is less than 1 year old and has less than 5,000 miles on it and all this has gone wrong already.I will never again buy another GM product.

This is probably the worst dealership Ive ever purchased a vehicle from. I purchased a 2021 GMC Yukon Denali. The buying process went relativity smooth seeings how we are on an island and it was during the end of the pandemic. However, Ive had multiple issues with the SUV and the service to correct these issues has been horrible. Upon arrival, a zipper was busted on one of my seats. One the parts came in (3 weeks later) and I brought the truck in to be fixed. I was given a rental and it took a week to fix! Next was my SD memory card malfunction. Waited 3 weeks for an appointment for them to try and give another rental car for a week. This wasnt feasible so I told them I would call back when I could afford to lose my vehicle for a week. Called today to schedule an appointment and they informed me that I cant be seen until August. It always one excuse after another. Being in the military, Ive purchased quite a few vehicles from GMC. Ive always received top notch customer service until I came here. I guess you dont get what you pay for...

Bought a vehicle from this dealership. Was told that the vehicle had “no issues everything works great, the mechanics at service make sure the vehicles have no problems.” My first week having the vehicle I noticed the AC was not working properly, headlights were flickering, driver window was glitching up and down, the muffler was rattling. I’ve had such an inconvenience with getting the vehicle fixed with this dealership. It took forever. If I could give 0 stars I would. Only positive thing I would say is the mechanic Jeff actually did what he could especially with such a terrible organization. Won’t be buying here again or doing any service.

Customer service was great. Although I didnt like the fact that when making an appointment on a certain day and at a certain time doesnt mean anything. I called to make an appointment to get my car looked at, at 830am and when I brought my car in to the Service department they didnt even budge to take a look at my car. As the day went by it was already 4pm and they said that the mechanic didnt even look at my car and wont be able to look at it until the next day. So the next day came and went, by then it was 2pm and they said my car is about to be looked at. A day and a half was waisted... As the days went by my car went in for service a total 5 days. Terrible Mechanic service cant keep up with the cars. They were behind a day and a half on cars. The good thing that came out of this was the customer service agent was on it with keeping me up to date with everything.

Well maybe next time when we discuss about money they should be writing notes or have a recorded device and have it signed because when the customer gets called back to pay for it its 3x more then the amount that has already been discussed then its a he says she says....if it was agreed 500-700 just for the A/c why would you even come up with 6,000 to 7,000 who in a RIP off world do you see someone being charged that amount just for an A/C?? RIDICULOUS right?

Awful sales experience. Have been on 10-day quarantine looking to purchase a car on-line. Called in the dealership after having my credit application pre-approved on their website. I explained that I was under quarantine but was willing to finance a car they had for sale. The first sales person got back with me announcing my credit was approved but the rate presented was 2.5% higher than what I had from my credit union. I asked if she could get me a better rate so I could decide on moving forward with them and she said she would return back to me by the end of the day after speaking with her Finance Manager. That was the end of day one. On the second day I called them back after not receiving any calls back - a new salesperson took over after reporting to me that the first salesperson was off that day. I explained the situation and she said she would speak with the Finance Manager and get back with me. After hours of waiting, I called back and was able to finally get to her. She then said that while she still had not received an answer from the Finance Manager, she offered me the alternative for me to put a money down to hold the car since there was a chance I would end-up closing the financing deal with my credit union. I then told her I was absolutely opened to that and would have said so if only the first salesperson had offered the same thing. Once again, she said she would speak with the Finance Manager and get back with me. After 3 hours I called them and spoke with a third salesperson asking about that second salesperson who then said she was busy with a customer and would leave a message to return my call asap. Another 3 hours later I called them once more and again the third salesperson picked up the phone and, yet again, said the second salesperson was now busy with another customer. I then asked this third salesperson if she wasnt eager to help me and then explained the situation and all that I had been waiting on both the first and the second salesperson to resolve. She then asked me to hold a few minutes on the line, after which she came back and said she was going to transfer my call to her Manager. The Manager picked up the call and said his name and asked if I was the guy interested in the car I was calling about. I said yes, this is him, to which he replied that he knows its an awkward and unpleseant situation but that the car had just being sold by a customer who had walked in the dealership an hour ago. The Manager then asked if I was interested in any other car from their inventory.If anyone doesnt believe the awful experience that I had dealing with this dealership, the name of the first salesperson is Sasha, the name of the second salesperson is Shelley, the name of the third salesperson is Tina and the name of the manager is Brian.I will never come back to purchase a car from this dealership and would never recommend anyone to do it. Experiences matter A LOT and not just when the customer is at the shop.My Rapid Covid testing results didnt arrive on time prior to landing (even though they turned out to be negative) and I have also been vaccinated a month ago, but Im following the rules and doing my duty to quarantine. The minimum the whole community should do is adapt to this circumstance as best as possible, and this dealership has proven they could care less for their customers or potential customers.I hope by sharing my experience in dealing with this dealership, I made my point as to why there is a likely chance you would be signing up for going through the worst customer experience you will ever have.

Nick Nakama was the salesperson that assisted us when we arrived to GMC dealership. We were looking to do a trade with our Chevy truck.At first my husband had a set an appointment for a GMC truck he had seen on the website, only to find out that it had already been sold. He was a little bummed about it, but Nick had suggested other truck options.Nick was so informative and been helpful throughout the entire process. Never thought we would be leaving the lot with a brand new truck. We basically came to GMC to do a trade with another used truck, only to end up going home with a 2021 Sierra Duramax.My husband and I really love our new truck, especially our kids. It is so spacious compared to the truck we previously had. It still doesnt feel surreal to us yet, but we are happy and satisfied with the service we received. Recently purchased a 2019 GMC Sierra SLT and couldnt be happier!! Shawna was awesome showing me the ins and outs of the Truck as well features during my test drive. I really wanted to be comfortable with any choice I made as I was just forced to give up a daily driver Silverado Ive had for 15 years, and I was not disappointed! I was satisfied that this was the truck I wanted to take me into the next decade or more! Shawna also made sure that it was ready to be shipped and took it down to the dock for shipping to the Big Island. Extremely slow service, and felt like we were treated as not important because were young too. They were late to both appointments we had. It took 4 hours to test drive two cars, and they didnt even listen to us the whole time. They constantly forgot that we were trading in a car, forgot that the lease length we wanted was 2 years, and lowballed the hell out of us because they thought we needed them for the trade in. Well be going somewhere else where they value your time and try to help you close a deal thats benefitial for everyone.Theres also a crackhead that frequents both inside and out of the dealership 😂 he sat next to us without a mask and watched tv while we waited a half hour to test drive a car (and we already had an appointment).

Jon Palting made purchasing our new 2021 GMC Canyon, the easiest new vehicle purchase we have ever witnessed. Price was agreed on over the phone, then the credit manager, Theresa Karas called us and it was seamless as well. Both were kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We are Maui residents - our one and only GMC dealership on our island, did not have a Canyon in a 2WD, so we purchased this vehicle over the phone/internet from another island (Oahu), sight unseen. Jon even went out of his way to personally drop the truck off at Young Brothers barge, 2 weeks before Honolulu Buick could secure a ship date! We love our new Canyon. Mahalo Jon and Theresa !!

Great experience! This was by far the most pleasant vehicle negotiation and purchase I have ever had. Raymond Guinto in sales and Dennis in finance were both very helpful and professional. They each explained the various options available to me as a purchaser and then let me decide. There was never any pressure which is not common at most dealerships. Took multiple attempts online and many calls that were never returned. When returned after I made contact no return call on questions I had. I was encouraged to do an electronics test that was not covered on my extended warranty. Showed up for a 730 am appointment and car not taken in till 1030am and not done till 1230 pm. Have pictures of service board. Was told would be a couple hours. Worse was charged highway robbery of 786.33 to change a burned out light bulb. Labor was 504.00 and parts 246.94. Was told would probably be 200 to 400 when I called to get questions I had that were never answered. Horrible experience.

I want to start off with that I have always had good experiences with GM dealerships up until this point and this one dealership doesnt reflect my views on GM as a whole. I have never experienced such a feeling of helplessness when dealing with a business as I did with Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac. It started when my passenger exterior door handle broke on my GMC Yukon (this is a known issue on all 07-13 GM truck and SUVs). Ive had this happen to my driver side door before and it took me about 20 minutes, and a 20 dollar handle, to fix it. This time however I couldnt open the door from the inside. So with no way to open the door I called Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac. They said it would be 2 weeks before they could get to it and it would be $160 to diagnose the problem. I was ok with it since COVID and all so I scheduled an appointment. My appointment was scheduled for January 18th at 8am. So I dropped my car off, with the door handle I had already purchased, and went home. I was expecting a call by noon or so saying we fixed it! or we found other issues. This has been my experience with every GM dealership I have dealt with for 19 years. Yes, I have owned a Chevy or GMC for the last 19 years. 4pm rolls around, and its getting close to closing time, and I havent heard from them so I called. I was informed that they hadnt looked at it and she was surprised I wanted my vehicle back today!!!! What?! I could understand if they opened up my car and found issues that are beyond their control and the repairs take longer than a day. But no, they expected me to make an appointment 2 week in advance and leave my car there until they get around to even looking at it with no time frame of when it would be looked at. That is crazy. So I went to pick up my car, because I need to drive it to work. I politely asked the manager if this was normal and he told me it was. I can assure you as a GM customer of 19 years this is not normal. I will take my business elsewhere.

Staff was courteous, professional, I had an appointment for 10 am. I was there on time, took 2 and half hours for an oil change and tire rotation, 2015 8686 miles. Tire rotation probably was not needed. Was noted on report wheels are spidering with corrosion. Truck is always garage kept. I am curious why the wheels are corroding. I have a Range Rover longer and wheels are fine. I may consider a speedie lube for the 2.5 hours time frame next time.Thank YouJack

First I had come in for service before and a part needed to be ordered. I guess it was ordered since I was NEVER notified that it came in. After waiting over 6 weeks I called to find out what was going on, and was told that the service person would find out and call back. She didnt. So I called two days later as was told the part had been received at the dealership OVER A MONTH AGO. So I bring in my vehicle and expect to be called when the cover on the drivers seat is installed and my seat belt is checked. Again, I had to call the service department and was told the switch was installed on my last visit. I didnt bring in the car for that. I brought my car in to have a cover installed and no one installed the cover. Thats great. I was also told that the buckle would need to be ordered or delivered. Why wasnt I contacted earlier in the day so the part could be delivered and why wasnt the cover installed? Oh, yeah, my car was brought in for a switch, right? NOPE it was the cover and seat belt, so I got to wait in the waiting room for hours because of nobody knowing what was going on with my service. Should I go back to a shop that cant even schedule the repairs or contact their customers? Right now, the answer is NO. UPDATE: I tried calling to talk to your company and NOONE in service is answering. Yep, I guess business as usual. Good bye Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac, Hello Cutter.

Brought my acadia in on feb 2020 it took them 9 days to replace the front evap core for the ac. Now its November and I dropped off my vehicle oct 29th for the rear evap core. Its been 10 days now and I still dont have my vehicle. BTW no courtesy vehicle either time, thats 19 days in counting they have had my vehicle.

Horrible services took my car in to get the recall taken cared of and when picking up my car nothing was done. They had my car over 24 hours and when asking Samantha the service desk representative her answer was “I don’t know, the service agent isn’t answering my calls” that was absolutely horrible. On top of that when dropping off my Acadia the same service representative was not too helpful. As I approached her desk she continued to be on her cellphone and had not acknowledged my presence. To think that my husband and I purchased both our vehicles from Honolulu Buick GMC Cadillac. With this type of I would not recommend this dealership at all and will be taking my vehicles else where.

BUYER BEWARE: Theresa Karas lied about my payment options, was very pushy an disrespectful when dealing with her, lied about me losing my $6,000.00 rebate when I wanted to cancel the extended warranty she talked me into the very next day when she made it seem like it would be no issue at all to cancel at anytime, I believe she lied about me losing that rebate in order for me to keep the extended warranty an for her to get her bonus or whatever incentive they get for selling extended warranties.. When I finally decided to use my credit card (so I could benefit on getting miles towards my purchase) to pay the remaining balance instead of my check that I used to HOLD the remaining amount. No one explained that it would be sent to a third party company in order for them to make sure they get their money and if I wasnt able to come up with it in time I wouldve had to pay very high interest an fees which was NOT explained to me at all! They said they just needed something to hold that amount so that the books could closed on that deal. When I contacted her 4-5 days prior to check being cashed she didnt respond for two days until I texted Matt my sales guy to get in touch with me so I could use my credit card. She blew me off until I had to ask someone else, very rude an disrespectful when someone just made a 45,000 + purchase during this pandemic.. You would think the customer service level would be higher. The finance department treated me like I was poor an didnt have the funds which a huge insult. The check cleared since I did have the funds available. If I could give negative stars Id give this place an Theresa Karas a -5 rating. She should be as far away from human beings as possible. Maybe cleaning toilets an bathroom would suit her better. I will be making final complaints with corporate an continuing to work with my lawyer to find anything that broke contract. Or get some type of incentive for dealing with this matter!

I have been very displeased with the fact that I, Trudy, was the purchaser of the vehicle but all information (email, ect) has been going to Phillip - even though I gave my email contact. This has not been remedied more than a week after purchase. It is very insulting and sexist that I receive a survey addressed to me that was sent to an email that was not my own. This is 2021, not 1921.

No hassle kind of car selling. First time buying an American car and I tried the competitors locations but the vibe was welcoming at this location. Ms. G was easy to work with and listened to my needs.Edited... my original experience was based on the sales associate who is no longer there. This place is a rip off, so run. Over priced, cheaply made cars that come with sirus radio which we cant get on the island, terrible offers blah blah. Seriously, buyer beware and it might be best to buy used or something. The dealers next to it are suspect as well but havent associated with Kia or Infiniti. Youve been warned.

I recently purchased my first vehicle and was blessed to have Shawna as my sales rep/Angel. I had no clue what I was looking for nor how to maneuver throughout the process. Without Shawna helping me, I would still be aimlessly searching ads for vehicles. At no point did I feel pressure to purchase my vehicle, or spend more than I let her know what I could afford. She made me feel confident and fully supported and honestly she was more worried about me being satisfied, than she was with making a sale! Very friendly and pretty nice showroom. We rushed though things and already had our minds made up before we came in. We needed a new car and there wasnt much negotiating and a manager apparently gave us a take it or leave it number which we decided to take. Im confident that they are pretty happy on their end but we are still satisfied as well since we didnt have ideal credit situation it came down to our deposit and what we were paying per month.

Will never go back, the business practices are apparently to use false advertising to get you onto the lot. I went onto Kelley Blue Book to look up the trade in value of my car and they called me saying they were interested in buying my car at full KBB cash value. Before going in I called back and asked if they were actually going to pay the full value or if it would be a situation in which I had to fight for the price. I was assured that they would just double check that everything I entered was accurate and I would get full value. Obviously I knew they would attempt to make it into a trade-in scenario however I said that I was not looking to buy on the spot because I want to do research before purchasing a new car, especially amidst a pandemic with income being unreliable. The response I received from the salesman was that if I did not do a trade in on the spot they wouldnt even be interested in buying my car for half of what its worth on KBB. Not to mention neither the salesman nor a service member looked at my car to verify the value.

I own 2 2018 camaro s I went in because of the shuttering transmission problems. They said they will not look at it unless I pay them 150$. Basically no service nutting. Telling me there trying to help and provided no help under my warranty. Cutter sucks I have heard from many customers. Cut throat cutter.

Smoothest purchase ever! I walked in and greeted by James at the counter, believe hes one of the Managers. Greeted with a smile and made me feel very welcome. Being a female, thought Id be pressured into purchasing something that I didnt want. Explained to James what I was looking for, how much Im looking to put down, etc... Shortly there after, he paged for Heather. Just like James, Heather was a total blessing to work with. Heather was truly the sweetest. She, along with James listened to my situation and immediately knew which vehicle in their inventory would fit all my needs. All it took was 1 test drive of the 2017, Equinox and I was in love! I cant say enough about the exceptional service received by both, James and Heather! I was in and out, definitely the fastest transaction ever. Got a great deal on a car from these guys!!! But unfortunately that’s where it all ended. Took delivery of the car that late evening and the car wasn’t cleaned. Was promised a detail by sales person and that he would hook it up with some window tint. Came back in the next afternoon and conveniently the detailer left for the day. Tried to bring it in the next day and was told he’s too backed up... Just getting the run around... Sales is Sales and they are great at it!!! Customer Service comes after you buy the car... Too bad!!! I was very impressed with my initial impression and Sales experience.UPDATE!!! Since posting this review I was asked to get in contact with the dealership. I worked with Justen the acting GM. At first he was a little reluctant to work with me due to my negative review I left on here. In the end he made the situation right by reimbursing me the cost I paid to have the car detailed and the windows tinted....

I already post something on Yelp, but I will post again here since I received this. My experienced with the Service department was beyond amqzing. Mr. Eddie Cunningham was awesome a hard working man. He was always busy but yet have that big smile and welcoming attitude towards each customer. I was glad I met him. The other guys Im really bad with named but if I have their names I would post it too. The other guy with curly kinda long hair. He was amazing too. He was very friendly great customer service running around busy and still never fail to greet his customers with a big smile. The other guy was amazing too. He was busy with his work but always lending hand to his fellow colleagues now that is called great team work. The shuttle driver that took me on my first day. He was very friendly busy in and out with helping customers yet he have that big smile to greet everyone he come across. Now thats the Aloha Spirit. Mr Eddie Cunningham is a hard working and have the best customer service. To the manager that hires them you should be proud for these four fellow workers. I wish there is a way that this can be put in order to recognize these four with their work.

I am impressed, amazed, & over the top elated!! Cadillac, Buick, GMC (unsure of order) has restored my faith in customer service. In the past, I was unhappy with their service (1.5 yrs ago). Then, I was not acknowledged when seeking service. The reps either ignored me or made me feel as if I was a bother.Approx 6 months ago, I met an associate who assisted, educated, & made me feel heard.Today, there was a shift in the atmosphere. It felt welcoming, open, at comfortabl... The manager took me in w/o hesitation...past norm would NOT and/or DISMISS me.An hour later my car was done. During the wait period, the mgr and staff showed me ALOHA! I left smiling from ear to ear! Jonathan was awesome, great follow up and delivery. Being an outer island buyer I found that many dealerships were not up to speed on how to deal with someone from another island. Basically wouldnt speak to me until I was there in front of them, but hey, I dont have time to fly over for every T-D-H, But these guys treated me with respect, negotiated the deal, picked me up at the airport. 10 star rating, thank you Jonathon, excellent customer service!

This place is the worst I have ever had to deal with. First, they sold us a vehicle that was $1k less online. So they were willing to reimburse us. About a month later I called to ask about it and it never was submitted. It took me calling the GM to finally get the ball rolling. Then they owed us a detailing and some parts that were coming in for it. I had to finally set the appointment up myself because they were not contacting us. They said it would be done either later that day or the next day. The next night I still had not heard from them. So I called and they said come get it at 9 the next morning. We showed up at 11 and they claim it was done. Only two tires had tire shine. There was still trash in the cup holder. Finger smudges on the radio and dust all over the dash. Seats still had stains on them. Instead of fighting with them anymore me and my wife just did the detailing ourselves.

2/24/21 revised update reply from dealer: thank you justin chilcoat for replying but your information you indicated is 100% incorrect. I am not sure where this expecting cadillac to pay for any reimbursement to pay any out of location shop came from but is sure was not part of our conference call. I had paid for 1/2 of the diagnosis as cadillac paid for the other 1/2 due to previous issues with previous experience. The issue with the call is the dealership was paid to diagnose a safety electrical issue that was not fully done until a battery was replaced. Once replaced we talked that due to possible undetermined costs and I was not working at time of call that I might not be having the dealership repair the car and cadillac would not accept to complete diagnosing my car unless cadillac dealership will be doing the actual repair and get paid for that work and that the dealer and corporate was not in the business to only diagnose a problem. I never expected the dealer or corporate office to pay for any additional diagnosis or repair costs and I did not refuse work to be done other than I might not be able to pay to repair but would like the diagnosis to be completed and was refused by the dealer and corporate that was paid for. I guess I have to accept Cadillac in whole will not be concerned for public vehicle safety on the cars they produce and sell which is why both refuse to assist any further in Cadillacs part, not mine.UPDATE: so I and a new issue that I figured would give cadillac a 2nd chance to redeem themselves from my 1st experience.had an electrical issue that in turn would effect my steering while driving(loss of power steering). In short, I had a conference call with the service manager and cadillac corporate. I had paid for diagnosis and informed both that due to costs (note that diagnosis was incomplete due to new battery needed to go further Into diagnosing so was a safety concern) that I would just need to find out what the issue is and th at I would not be having it fixed at the time due to possible costs and loss of work. They both indicate that we are not in the business just to diagnose problems unless we do the work. So regardless of safety, neither the dealer or the corporate office will perform any diagnosing regardless if there is a safety issue, just that they would get the $$ to do the work. Not only this dealer is so shotty in their ethical values, so was corporate office putting their profits ahead of customer safety.Customer be informed...Dont know how they did it but my review I posted last month is no longer here so Im gonna post my short version.Took my cadillac ats in for a no start issue. They wanted to overcharge for multiple diagnostics to find the issue. Stated motor was no good and that I needed a $12,000.00 replacement. I was able to get it fixed myself with less than $20.00 . Will never deal with service again.
